This is place is not what it used to be, my wife has been coming here for years and the last few times have been a disappointment for her as well as myself. The recent event happened today. My wife had to get a filling, called to set up an appointment ahead of time for the filling. We had to get daycare for the few hours because we have a baby. When she showed up to her appointment they performed X-rays, and told her to come back a different time for the filling. When, I called to find out why they did not see her, the excuse was that they did not allot the time for the filling. The office person was condescending, so I got very upset and became rude back. While on the phone, I did bring to light that this seemed a bit skeptical. Were they trying to charge the insurance twice? Now why wouldn't they have not scheduled the appropriate time, if that is exactly what the appointment was for? They've never acted this way or been like this. When my wife called back to re-schedule her appointment, they denied seeing her. Maybe my intuition is correct. Who knows, but here it is. I am bringing this to light. read more

I have had Dr. Beebe as my dentist for over 10 years. He is an amazing dentist, no issues there. He's thorough, honest, and monitors my teeth closely. However my recent experience has put a very sour taste in my mouth as I believe it was unfair and unethical. I called and informed the office one of my fillings had fallen out and I needed a filling. They scheduled me right away and I came in the next week. When I got there, the did an X-ray and informed me that I needed a filling. Uhhhh yes- I know! That's what I said when I called to set up the appointment. They sent me home and told me I needed to set up another appointment. This was never the protocol previously so I called my husband to express frustration as I needed childcare again to go to another appointment - which I felt should have been done the first time. They never communicated I would need two appointments for this but it is what it is. My husband called the office and was unhappy about the situation. I'm not sure exactly what he said but they called me after and let me know they would email me the X-rays (she noted he was rude). When I asked if I could set up another appointment, they said they would speak to the dentist and get back to me. I emailed twice and no response. Don't piss off the front office lady because clearly she runs the show. I asked if I could at least come in and get my filling done as I needed time to find a new dentist and NO response. Very unprofessional in my opinion. People need to grow up and at the very least respond and handle conflict like adults. It's unprofessional and unethical based on what I read online about dentist ethics. I worked with families for years and never just ignored anyone. Find a new front office person asap! read more

If I were you I would steer clear of this place!!! I went to this office for a check up and a cleaning. The cleaning was done well and they also took some x rays. Dr Beebe came in to check the XRays he quickly looked over them and told me I needed a crown. Mind you I take great care of my teeth, brush and floss regularly so I felt like a crown out of no where was a little strange. I wanted a second opinion and so I got one. Turns out not only do I not need a crown, I don't even have a cavity!!! For a dentist to recommend a major procedure and it not be needed is not only disappointing but really scary. What a pleasant surprise to walk into a dental office with no hard sell, who takes their time, who are kind and gentle.

I was schedule to have my dental implant completed and a cleaning over a month ago. I chose to leave the appointment after there were 5 people in the cubicle trying to figure out how to use the tool to put in my tooth. My head was bumped several times by someone's butt. No apologies or acknowledgement. A few days after I left the appointment, I spoke to the office manger to tell her my concerns with the room crowding during covid. She argued with me about it! I'm disappointed because I really like Dr.Beebe! But I can't return to an office that can't take constructive criticism to make a stressful appointment during covid times a little more comfortable. I called the office 4 more times and never got a return call. I'm at a loss as to what I'm supposed to do about my tooth. Totally unprofessional and not a safe environment during Covid. read more

Awe struck! If there ever was a pleasant experience to be had at the dentist, I was so enriched. Broke a tooth and upon examination a crown produce ensued. No pain following the injections (great prep), tooth fits and looks great. The staff is awesome and very well versed in their tasks. Kudos to Dr. Beebe and his office staff. read more

Dr. Beebe himself is very personable and competent. Some of the hygenists are really good, others a tad annoying. I expect to get scolded for not flossing as often as I should, but to go on and on is a tad much. After going to the same dental office for more than 10 years now (and constantly asking myself why I continued to do so given the poor experiences I frequently had at that office), I thought it was time for a change. Dr. Beebe's office came highly recommended to me by a person who has rather discriminating tastes; and she was not wrong. My experience at Dr. Beebe's office yesterday (8/19/09) was the finest I've ever had at a dentist (which is no small feat since I'm a big chicken when it comes to dental stuff). The waiting room was spacious though I was not there for long. The staff was efficient yet very personable (Diana, the office manager, made sure to introduce herself). I felt like I had been going there for years! They had a very high use of technology- my electronic medical record (EMR) was visible to me in the exam room. As the hygienist (Stephanie) worked on me, she updated everything real-time on that machine. My x-rays (which were also a pleasant experience for dental x-rays) went immediately from machine to EMR. Stephanie gave me great feedback on the health of my teeth and gums as well as what I should be doing to minimize damage. You may be saying "duh"; but I didn't get this kind of information at my previous provider. Stephanie was gentle during the cleaning process, and put up with my overactive salivary gland like a champ! Most importantly, she did not try to upsell me on anything (unlike my former dental office). I was absolutely ready to schedule my next appointment there, and feel confident my kids will have pleasant experiences as well. I just can't say enough about my experience there... read more

I too was without a dentist. My previous dentist spent my whole root canal telling me what a screw up her assistant was. I found Dr. Beebe from his brother-in-law, my kids dentist. I asked if he would work on me after watching him work on my kids. He told me I should go see Dr. Beebe, man am I grateful. I have bad teeth, but they did not bust my chops. I had a broken tooth and I was due for a cleaning. Patricia was my hygienist. She was very gentile. She never poked me with the poky thing. I hate when they do that! She also gave me suggestions to help my teeth and gums. Diana was the dental assistant. She used to work for Dr. Beebe's father. She is super kind. She always makes me feel so welcome. It is almost as if they are a family that you have known for a long time and they happen to be dentists. They are very gentile, and they are not constantly pushing you to do something more. If it does not hurt and it is not broken, then leave it alone. This seems to be the attitude here. I went here first and now my wife, father, mother, aunt, uncle, and two good friend all go here. Just changed to this office after hearing many good things from friends and after my dentist retired. I LOVE the sweet hygienist! I'm in my 50's and she talked about some things that I could be doing to keep my teeth healthier in the most sweet way. A few weeks after my first visit, I had an issue. The office staff has deteriorated quickly. Was told I had an appointment on a Friday only to drive down and told I don't have an appointment. Called and rescheduled for today at 12pm. Went down for my appointment only to be told it was at 3pm. Never once did they call to tell me it was rescheduled or even apologize for the inconvenience.. NO!!! I am not a complainer. Look at my other reviews and you will see, I am usually very forgiving and positive. But this time ... I felt so strongly that I had to say something. I am uncharacteristically angry. In fact, I'm basically "PISSED"! My husband broke a tooth. He hates dentists, and we are a bit short on cash right now, but he was in so much pain that he finally gave in and made an appointment this morning to be seen at 2:00pm. Anxious, he showed up 20 minutes early. No one was there. He yelled, "hello" towards the backroom a couple of times, but no one came. So he sat and waited. Finally, someone came and gave him papers to fill out. After about an hour, he was seen by the doctor who told him to go upstairs because he would have to have a root canal. (Now he's even more anxious.) After going upstairs and waiting some more, he was eventually given an x-ray - afterwards however, no one came back. He sat there in the chair for 45 minutes, when his patience finally ran out. As he was leaving, another dentist saw him and asked if he'd been helped. Because he wasn't her patient, she couldn't do anything for him. In fact, no one was helpful or even apologetic. I do not like seeing my husband in pain. Because of his anxiety, it may take awhile for me to convince him to go to a dentist, any dentist, anytime soon. We're expecting a bill for the x-ray - and we'll pay it, but it really makes me angry that he went through all this and nothing helpful was done. He's still in pain ... and I'm upset! read more

I do not recommend this dentist. I went in to have a crown put on my tooth. The first crown they ordered for me wasn't cut correctly, so I had to make another trip. When I did come back the next time, they informed me that they could not FIND my crown, and that I should go home and they would call me later that day to reschedule yet another appointment. They never called. When I phoned THEM the following day, I was told that the crown was indeed lost forever, and that I needed to make another appointment to have the mold redone and order a new one. This meant two more trips. So after incorrectly cutting my crown, then losing my crown, then having me drive all the way there just to find out that they have no crown, failing to phone me later that day as promised, and finally - getting my bill today stating that my payment is over 30 days late when I've only had the crown in my mouth for five days - I do not recommend this dentist. read more

When you enter the waiting area, you are greeted by a pleasant staff person. There is a collection of up to date magazines that reflect the diversity of Dr. Beebe's patients. The dental staff is exceptional...whether the one who greets you, or the one who cleans your teeth, checks for dental concerns, etc.. or the billing person. The equipment is modern/clean; the staff is professional/experienced; unneeded services are not pursued; billing is explained in advance and is handled on an individual basis, etc. Without hesitation, I recommend Dr Beebe's office. read more

This place is a disaster. "Dr." Beebe never communicates about what he does. He screwed up my crown twice and almost screwed up my post as well had I not been told by the oral surgeon what I needed to watch out for. Furthermore, he (or should I say his rude staff) billed my insurance for what they did not even do! When I went to have my crown done elsewhere, they informed me that Beebe already charged insurance. I went to talk to them about reversing the charges and they were incredibly rude saying "ya, well, it should not have been done but it did happen, oh well." None of these staff have any work ethics of any kind. Kind suggestion, stay away from this mess, choose a real dentist. There are some left in Long Beach. read more

my wonderful oral surgeon, Dr. Aivaz's office recommended this dentist for a crown and I was extremely impressed by the professional tone and quality of the work of Dr. Beebe. They have state of the art equipment that digitizes the exact shape of your surrounding teeth and through cad cam technology a space age machine mills the tooth. You can watch it take shape! No more need for a temp filling, in two hours you are done. No ill fitting and uncomfortable crown. I highly recommend this dentist, and if you need a root canal see Dr. Aivaz in the same building. He saved me from another dental surgeons botched job. P.S. Dr. Beebe called me personally to make sure I was satisfied, truly a caring dentist. read more
