Everyone was far too busy enjoying their food to talk! I don't usually choose ham, but I love pepper jelly, so I couldn't resist the ham and pepper jelly, grilled cheese, bacony delight. It was AMAZING. I had it on multigrain bread which was a great choice. I'm not sure if my review posted. The chicken southwest wrap my husband ordered was phenomenal. The side salads were outstanding. My sandwich was a complete disaster. It was cold, not a melt although the cheese was melted. All I could taste was Dijon. The lemon berry cake was downright decadent! I cannot wait to return to get the wrap instead. I can't believe I hadn't been to this cafe sooner, since then I've been a frequent customer, bring my friends & husband who all enjoyed immensely. It's a quaint little cafe, few tables, with daily soups, sandwiches & pastries. Everything is made fresh to order. I've had this sweet little spot bookmarked for a bit so when my internet went out for a couple of days, I had the chance to venture in and sit a spell! What a cute and homey spot. From the table mats on each table to the way the displays are filled, it's just welcoming. And the proprietor? A gem! She was really engaging and clearly had passion for her wares. The customer service here is excellent! They made a wonderful special requested coffee for me with heavy whipping cream. It was delicious. The cakes and pies will satisfy anyone's sweet tooth and there's so many choices daily. They've been around for 5 years and I'm just discovering this locally owned bakery and cafe in Fleming Island. One of the best places on Fleming Island! I love that I can have a pot of tea with my lunch, and the desserts are outstanding as well. They have the recipe for the chocolate peanut butter pie that was served at the former The Sisters Restaurant and it is incredibly delicious! Its cozy atmosphere is so inviting and the service is very friendly. Everyone from the owner to staff do a great job. Met a friend here for lunch recently. Their special of the day was Balsamic Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque with a drink. All for $8! Can't beat that. Very cute spot with prints all over the walls. They do custom cakes & pies, and have a dessert bar right at the front. For such a small spot they do have quite a few tables inside and a couple outside as well. The drink I got was a mixed berry tea. It was quite flavorful and refreshing. The soup was wonderful. I love tomato soup/bisque, and this one was very good. The balsamic grilled cheese was okay. Wasn't very cheesy and really didn't have a lot of flavor, even with the balsamic addition. I got a mint chocolate brownie for dessert and it was yummy. Tasted just like those thin chocolate mints you get at different restaurants. My friend had the cherry cheesecake and she said it was very good. They appear to have daily specials and some of the "regular" sandwiches sound incredible so a return visit will be happening! read more

I have been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. There is so much flavor in everything they make here ... I feel like every sandwich, salad or bowl of soup is made with love. Today I had the Chicken Caprese and a side of cucumber tomato salad... and a strawberry lemonade to wash it all down. The place is cozy and clean and reminds me of a Parisian type cafe for some reason. The staff was very friendly and happily gave me free refills of the strawberry lemonade. This café was a delightful surprise! The food was fresh and plentiful, the service friendly, and my food allergies were accommodated. When the soup we ordered was already gone, delicious substitutions were made without question. We landed at this place because the place we were aiming to go nearby, didn't have their outdoor seating out. I'm guessing it was due to the hurricane that came through recently but I still only eat outdoors. The establishment is adorable. I went with my mom and bro. It was super easy to order and we were able to snag a table outside. I got the blackberry and jalapeño grilled cheese. It was delicious. I also got the cucumber salad and wasn't the biggest fan of that part. Idk what it was but it kind of tasted off. My mom said the same about her pasta salad. The fact that they were both smaller portions did not make a difference as it was a great amount of food for the money. We decided to do a drive by at Brew-Bakers Cafe for some dessert based on the advice of Just a Pinch cafe owner Bernard Santiago and it was an unexpected benefit to find they also have sandwiches. We tried two (in my opinion) awesome sandwiches. 1. Spicy Blackberry Grilled Cheese - Bacon, jalapeno, Blackberry Jam, cheddar and Provolone. - Pan fried. Nice toasty bread with gooey cheese. The jalapeno and jam ad a mild sweet heat. Great combo of flavors. 2. Grilled Ham Jam. Spicy jelly, bacon,ham, Provolone, Dijon, Pan fried. - Pan fried. Toasted bread. The spicy bacon pepper jelly melds great with the ham and melted cheese. Both came with a choice of side and we got the pasta salad. Excellent choice. Curyl pasta with tomato and pepperoni and just the right amount of vinaigrette. - Also got the dessert we actually went there for in the first place. 1. Chocolate Raspberry cake - Moist flavorfull and chocolatey. My new favorite cake. 2. Peanut Butter Cheesecake - Good peanut butter flavor but not over powering. I ordered a Turkey apple brie wrap with a side of pasta salad and key lime pie for desert. My wife ordered garlic mushroom chicken melt with beer cheese soup and a lemon blueberry cake, and my son ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap with pasta salad and key lime pie. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall we were happy and would like to come back and try some other things. To me the key lime pie was very heavy, but good. We will recommend this place. This is a small cafe right across from the high school. They have a large selection of tea and desserts. My mom and I had breakfast there today and the food was great. I had a spinach and feta frittata with fruit and my mom had a Belgian waffle and bacon. She said it was one of the best waffles she's ever had. They were so friendly giving us recommendations and the hot tea is fresh- not from a bag. We've been there for dessert before and they were great as well! We'll be back soon. read more

First time to visit a few weeks ago. Small space ... order at the register. It was busy since it was lunch time. One server and she was efficient and friendly. Meals came out in a timely manner. Yet they tasted very average as tasty as they sounded in the menu. The grilled cheese w the bacon and jam was very light on the cheese and jam as well. Barely any jam on the sandwich. Costly for what we ate in my opinion. Great little place though for the area and seems to stay quite busy. I was just disappointed and maybe that's not the norm for that sandwich and where they were so busy it was just unlucky for me. read more

Went there and was so impressed with their menu, a lot of really different sandwich styles. Like a blackberry grilled cheese sandwich which I'm coming back for very soon! I came in to get a cup of Beer Cheese soup and a cupcake. Both were amazing, and as a huge fan of Beer Cheese soup, I was really happy to find a place that not only has it, but also tastes delicious.
