I recommend this place. I enjoyed their cinnamon swirl bread. And I see their ingredients say their flour is not bromated, which is a comfort. I would prefer full ingredients list on the label, as it does leave me a bit concerned as a customer in terms of trust. Been to visit several times and often stop at their booth at RAM to get a bite. I've had their scones and most recently tried one of their cinnamon rolls. I would say that the pastries are not my favorite in all of JAX but they are consistently good and high quality. The scones aren't as crumbly and dry as I typically like and the cinnamon roll was a bit drier than I'd expect. However the cream cheese topping and ratio of icing to roll was perfect. The thing that makes them standout is that their staff is wonderful. They greet you upon entering and helpful to answer questions. I LOVE that they always have a sample of one of their breads. It sets them apart. I've changed my mind several times to try whatever they were sampling. The shop has some decent seating inside and some limited seating outside. I believe they might have new ownership since the last time I was here. I believe they're Middle Easterners. I was originally supposed to come here for breakfast and coffee. I saw a new place Nextdoor-so I ate there. But, I came here right after and bought two very items and both were very good. The young lady that helped me served me a taste of their, "bread of the day". I believe it had spinach in it-it was very good. The prices were very fair here. This was my first visit & I was charmed. You are greeted by the delicious smell of baked goods as you enter. I was also enthusiastically greeted by the staff who offered me a sample of pumpkin bread which was very tasty. I snapped some pix of what was currently available in the case before deciding to take home a Spinach Feta Roll & a Pepperoni Roll. Told us a bit about their store, all fresh made and honey used to sweeten instead of sugar. Left with a combination of items for my friends and I. I had the artichoke muffin/quiche (no bread). So wonderful- flavor, large pieces of artichoke as shown, yummy. The blueberry cream cheese loaf was also delicious- still light, but moist, kids loved, and honey was the perfect sweetener. Anytime I see your bread on a logo or name I automatically say, yep let's go I love fresh bread. As soon as I walk through the door you just see all the bakery treats and all the fresh bread that's right behind it. Originally I was only going to get a breakfast sandwich but once the cashier lady let me try the fresh bread and the homemade butter I was sold. I ended up getting the breakfast sandwich what she recommended to do garlic cheese bread. I ordered the sandwich with egg, cheese and ham. I also got Challah bread, which she was giving a sample of, and cinnamon honey butter. She told me the bread and butter is made daily which I love that, its so delicious and with every bite that you take of both together you definitely taste it. Being able to come here makes my heart so happy!! We had a Great Harvest back in Ohio when I was younger and it closed years ago-so being able to have the same bread is just so wonderful! The Farm-House White is just so delicious and tastes exactly the same from 20 years ago! And this time I got the Turkey Pesto sandwich(toasted) as well and it was so good! The staff is always so friendly and I believe the owner/manager has been at the register when I have gone and is always so kind! Lots of seating to enjoy a meal as well! Finally got to visit this joint as I have always wondered what it was inside and always thought they just sell wholesale wheat bread lol Great atmosphere here and was immediately greeted by the staff, service was quick and easy, as I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich for $7.50 and comes with Bacon, Cheddar cheese, fresh baked Patty, herb spread and was cut in half - it was very delicious! Got the Capuccino Latte with Hazelnut for less than $6 and it was really good, the frothiness and the flavor was right on point to get me going this morning. This cozy bakery is filled with sweet and salty treats. From savory scones to oozy cinnamon rolls, it does not disappoint. They have hearty sandwiches as well. I like their blueberry muffins and find their cinnamon rolls pretty hard to resist at their booth at the Riverside Arts Market. Their biggest drawbacks are having ok coffee and zero bagels. I have never been to the establishment, but they are a vendor at the Riverside Arts Market every Saturday in downtown Riverside under the I-10/95 overpass next to the St Johns River. They have a large assortment of bread and pastries. I have tried all of the pastries, they were all tasty. Recently though, I tried a loaf of High Fiber with Fruit. The bread is loaded with grains, fresh milled flour, and a variety of seeds and fruit. I'm on my 3rd loaf, it's packed with fiber, and it's moist because of the fruit. I prefer it toasted plain, but butter certainly makes it delicious! I also love their Sourdough loaves! read more

Sad not to have these items here locally ... ppl don't know what they are missing!! My ultimate grilled cheese sandwich with bacon on honey whole wheat bread was toasted to perfection and tasted great. The tomato made it a bit more messy than a normal grilled cheese - but wouldn't change a thing! I did pickup a blueberry scone & filled with fruit ... very good and moist! I absolutely loved the cinnamon swirl bread and cinnamon butter spread I brought. It was delicious after warming it about 29 seconds in the microwave. EVERYTHING! Everything is sooo GOOD! Walk in, and the smells of a bakery fill your senses. I wanted to order entire menu. Wife had a half chicken salad sandwich and half tomato soup. I had the chicken pesto. Both on a homemade garlic cheese bread. Both delicious. The soup was not like the creamy canned stuff. You could tell it was homemade as well. We couldn't leave empty handed. Grabbed a loaf of Blueberry Banana bread, a homemade soup starter, and one of their homemade nut-grain bars. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Oh my, what nice people. They were so friendly and happy it was contagious. Went in early in the morning to a bread company and I can't eat carbs...yeah I'm "that guy". Their quiche looked amazing, but I don't eat potatoes either....yeah "that guy". Instead they customized an egg sandwich for me which was delicious. On a side note....just the smells and look of their bread had me wanting to stop break my no carb diet. Stopped by Great Harvest Bread Company for Lunch for the first time. There wasn't much of a line at around Noon on a Monday. I was able to order shortly after walking in. The Great Harvest Bread Company is a Bakery and Cafe that serves Freshly made Sandwiches, Salads and Soups. As a Bakery, they also have a wide variety of Breads, Pastries & Baked Goods. Everything looked tasty and the super friendly staff was willing to let me try samples of any of their scones. I ordered: The Baja Chipotle Turkey Sandwich (on Honey Whole Wheat) Chocolate Chip Scone The Staff was having a great time singing, dancing, and joking around while preparing my sandwich. It was nice to see them enjoying their job with a smile. My sandwich came Freshly made with the ingredients! I had just the right amount of Chipotle sauce to make it stand out. While I would have preferred a little more meat in it to make it filling, it was a good sandwich. The winner for me was the Chocolate Chip Scone! It was served warm and the size of a flattened softball. Inside it was nice and fluffy with a generous amount of chips. I loved it so much I went back and got some to go!
