Summer chicken pasta Don't expect pasta with your meal. Waitress said this was their "healthy" summer item that does not include pasta. Doesn't make sense to have the word pasta in the description. This place was alright. I had a $50 dollar food voucher I needed to use and I ended up getting their most expensive item which is a ribeye steak. You get 2 sides and a steak. The ribeye was a mixed opinion as there were some parts that was dry and some parts that melt in your mouth. The service was overall good despite it being really busy. I've eaten here twice. Each time the food was pretty good, the service was friendly, prompt seating and food came out hot. This last time I had the fajitas, beef. They were quite tasty. Good serving, plenty of bell peppers and onions. The salsa could have been better, had to use Tabasco, it did the trick. Not bad for Tex mex food In Louisiana. Came here on a Monday which I understand is a slow day at the casino. Deducted half a star for no hostess to greet us so we seated ourselves and tried to flag down a waitress for menus. We were a party of 4 and the waitress did not write our orders down. Another 1/2 star because our entrees came out before our appetizer. Okay my fellow Yelpers let me help you all out by providing a review that will hopefully save you from disappointment and wasted time. And my advice is pretty simple. DO NOT DINE HERE, well unless you enjoy a rude staff or waiting for over 30 minutes for horrible food. I had a food credit from the casino and decided to use it here which was negligent on my behalf. The time arrived to the restaurant was at 1:33pm the time food came out was at 2:17pm there were only 2 small parties here in the entire restaurant thus making our party a total of 3. Also, prior to even walking in the hostess was super rude did not say hello or anything and just grabbed menus and didn't speak a word. My family and I were so confused as we were unclear about what to do next because she did not verbally indicate what our next steps should include. Following that encounter it took approximately 8 minutes for a waitress to come to our table just to ask obtain our beverage order. Once she returned, we placed our entrée orders and it took over 30 minutes for the food to come as previously stated. I ordered the catfish and unfortunately the catfish had a very fishy taste to it like it just came from Prien Lake. The middle of the fish was very slimy and there was little to no flavor on the fish. Thus, I had to return the fish and ate the french fries. In conclusion, I would recommend any other restaurant inside the casino and even if no other restaurants are open inside the casino then my advice would be to order Door Dash. Please save yourself the disappointment, you will thank me in the long run. read more

Food did not taste good. No seasoning on fried fish. Chicken was dry with ends crunchy. Second time here. First time was bad but it was when they first opened up. Tried to give them another chance. Embarrassed that a place in Louisiana would serve bland food. My husband asked for a makers mark on the rocks and she brought a shot of whiskey and it was after we already had gotten our food. This restaurant is inside the new Horseshoe Casino where the Isle used to be. The casino is super bright and clean, as well as the restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. Food tasted fresh and came out quickly It's a huge restaurant space located right in the casino. Massive tvs and a wonderful bar space as well! Check it out. read more

First time trying and by appearance it seemed the food/service would be amazing. It wasn't. Husband and I asked for waters and both had things floating around in it. Mentioned it to the sever and she's just staring at us clueless. We asked for drinks in to go cups, double checked before taking a sip. Ordered our meal and it took forever! Especially when it didn't seem so packed. I glanced at kitchen and only saw 2 people working it. I ordered the redfish w/rice and veggies. The entire meal was unsatisfying. The fish was over cooked, there was only what seemed to be 2 spoonfuls of rice it sat on and the veggies?! They were sooo soggy and had zero taste! Wow! So frigging UNDERWHELMED! Only one good point...had a good Porter on tap. There was absolutely zero reasons to print the menu. There is NOTHING on it worth eating. Everything is so... ordinary. As a brew pub, I expected the menu to compliment the beers being served. Not so here. Virtually every item on the menu was cookie cutter restaurant fare. Not an original thought among them. Worst service I have ever experienced. The hostess was surly and acted as if it was a nuisance to seat us. Only three tables were occupied. We ordered chicken club sandwiches and beers. Slow and slower - Slow Sunday afternoon at this brew pub, Took 15 minutes to see our server come say hello. She checked on other tables first cleaned a table in front of us. She didn't know we were in her section. Tried to talk to a food and beverage manager they said they didn't have one on Sunday. That's a new one to me - I felt sorry for the table behind us that had 4 folks and they ordered onion rings that must have been grown in the kitchen it took 30 minutes to arrive and the rest of the meal at the 45 minute mark. Our non-alcoholic beverage took 15 minutes to arrive ($4 each) after 15 minutes for the server to arrive. The roast beef po-boy (steak and mayo and veggie hoagie) side of gravy, nope it was au jus in a little cup ($20). It actually was hot when it came out. Disorganized - Slow - Allow an hour for one appetizer minimum on a slow day. The first TV kept blacking out on random sections of the ballgame none of the others had that. Note you are close to the casino floor here and cigar and cigarette smoke do float into the pub. Especially the first 4-5 rows. read more

My husband got very sick vomiting and getting chills after eating the shrimp poboy and my mom had previously gotten sick after eating the tempura shrimp.
