What is going on? Years ago used to write good reviews, now only bad reviews. Let's start with beer, two of the beers were out, waiter said, oh, that's outdated got a new menu and now three were out and that's at 6:30PM. Now food, 3 of the four things were out. The food we did get the chicken tenders were anything but, and I've had steak that was more tender. Plus the fries it was supposed to come with were out, beans were given and they were inedible. The burgers were dry and tasteless. The Poke Bowl was good, but having Diverticulitis asked if the seeds could be omitted, the answer was yes. It came with seeds, and the water took it back, he brought it back to me and said they couldn't do anything about it. The lemonade had no flavor at all, the waiter said if you get vodka in it the vodka kills the taste. (Please go to a bar and have a good one). But the Ambiance was good! read more

Been here a few times. Last time was last summer on the patio. They have a nice patio. Decided to go for the Christmas theme for lunch. It was slammed. 45 min wait. We got 3 seats at the bar. We lucked out. Got 3 Christmas cookie drinks. For $12 I expected a slightly larger or maybe fuller drink. It was good. Just small. Too much ice. Ordered the 2 sets of tacos and a mediterranean bowl. They were all ok. Prices about average. All foods are between $12-20. Our lunch for the 3 of us with 1 drink each was $108 that's included a 20% tip. So it can be pricey. The Christmas decorations and theme were fun. And everyone was enjoying them. Lots of friends together, families too. TV's all had Christmas movies or sports. It's fun. Service was spotty but when we asked the bartender they came over. Large bar and lots of people vs 2 bartenders. So they were working hard. Overall impression is that it's a good place in a pinch but food is average, drinks can be pricey, maybe beer is better priced. And they do embrace the seasons and holidays. So that's fun. Don't understand all the low reviews, granted, as an out-of-towner, I've only been here twice but each time has been outstanding. Four of us went in Sept 2025 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I got one of the largest salads I've ever seen (buff chix - I ate on it for 45 min). The bartender was super friendly offered us samples and refilled our waters. The place is huge and they install fun decor for halloween. On the weekends they have live music on their huge patio. Holiday pop up bars are awesome to go visit. And this place didn't disappoint. I was very surprised at how well decorated this place was. The staff were extremely friendly. I sat at the bar because they were extremely busy. I actually didn't mind sitting here because they bartender walked me through the different holiday drinks available. I ordered the burger and fries. The bacon cheese burger was seasoned to perfection. The fries were not greasy at al. The prices I paid were not high and very reasonable. The location is in a perfect spot of south park mall. I will start out by saying that it is beautifully decorated for Christmas inside - but that's about where the good of this place stops ha. We were quoted an hour wait at the beginning, which was totally fine, it was a Saturday at 3:30 pm and families were out and about for Christmas activities. We waited in the car since it was snowing and the lobby was packed, we received a text about 45 minutes later to let us know our table was ready. We were sat right away.. and then sat for about 20 minutes before any one came over to us. Our server finally came to our table and said no one told her she was sat and she just happened to be walking by. We told her we were all set to order our drinks, appetizer, and entrees. She took our drink orders then said she'd come back. Okay, that's fine. My Fatheads Bumble Berry came out with blueberries in it, which was a nice touch. Our appetizer of truffle fries came out extremely fast and were actually really delicious, piping hot, and seemed really fresh. Our entrees took quite a bit of time and 3/4 left much to be desired.. none of us even came close to finishing our meals. I did end up taking my forage flatbread home with me because it was decent, nice presentation, and I wanted to bring leftovers to my mom. I say it was only decent because it just had A LOT of different flavors happening at once, it probably could've done without a little less. The burgers seemed like frozen, premade patties, and the quesadilla had barely any cheese. For the price of the food, we expected a little bit more quality, I guess. We tried Brew Garden for the first time tonight and this is definitely a "one and done" restaurant. The hostess didn't even greet us with a "hi" and literally didn't say a word to us when she seated us. Our waitress looked miserable and clearly didn't want to be working. Stopped in with my family recently & they have their new summer menu going on! We tried the fried green tomatoes, & street corn nachos with chicken - SO GOOD! We were in a booth near the bar inside, where the bartenders waiting on us took our drink orders as well as made them for us! They had a great bourbon selection for my dad, & yummy fruity drinks for my mom & I lol. I had a few different flavors of adult lemonade & she had the butterfly effect. Barr service was great for New Year's Eve. The food was disgusting. The price was $80 and that was food and everything included. It was supposed to start from 10 o'clock until midnight. We left early because they brought food out and it was disgusting. I thought they were chicken nuggets, and they were some kind of potato things and it was really bad was not worth the price. What did they do to this place? I've been going to Brew Garden since 2018. It's been maybe 2 years since I last went. They've always been pricey. Service has always has been a little spotty. But the food was always good- and I loved all of their more unique offerings in terms of the menu. They've slashed the menu 2/3 of what it used to be- and kept all the basic more boring pub food. When me and my partner came here again today- we left so disappointed. The food was just mediocre. The atmosphere as always was lovely- but it felt like there was nothing special about it to come back again and distinguish itself from all the other bar and pub food in the Strongsville/Brunswick area you can get for much cheaper. I understand a larger menu is more costly to keep up- and maybe the draw is more the drinks and beer rather than the food. But they actually had a decent thing going before. Why ruin it? read more

This is one of my favorite places to grab dinner with family. Food is always consistently good. Our go-to is the nachos and pretzel bread for appetizers. My favorite entree is the BG chop salad, delicious and the portion is quite large! Service is always good and their decorations around holidays are outstanding!! Be prepared to wait for a little bit especially weekend evenings and times of the year where they have their amazing decorations. Their outdoor patio is nice as well during the summertime. Only flaws are I am not a fan of the 4% service charge added on - especially considering their prices. Also, I felt as though the last few times I went the nachos were lacking in the toppings. I visited Brew Garden for dinner and was disappointed how limited the food menu was. They had burgers, flatbreads, wings and sandwiches- typical "bar food". The beer menu that used to be very extensive was average with a small sampling of different beer styles. I completely forgot about the Happy Hour specials and the Server (who seemed to be new) never mentioned them. I ordered the maple salmon and substituted the broccoli, which was perfectly prepared. I was also shocked by the huge sign at the Hostess stand stating a 4% charge will be added to all checks due to increase in costs. This is so sad when people are struggling to make it through the month with high costs and with the high costs at restaurants it's difficult to afford dining out without an additional 4% charge. Visited Brew Garden with a group of friends recently. We made a reservation and our table was available upon arrival. We were given menus and our drink requests were taken promptly. Our waitress was fast and friendly. We requested some appetizers. The white chicken chili was a definite miss. It had too much of the wrong kind of cheese and just missed the mark. Didn't taste like chili at all. The brussels sprouts as well as the spinach dip were excellent, however. My Bumbleberry from Fathead's Brewery included the fresh blueberries, which I like. I essentially paid $18 for a basket of waffle fries--which were good but not meant to be the main part of this meal. Very frustrating experience. We called the day before to ask about bringing in a group of 12. We were specifically told they were not busy and seating us would not be an issue. When we arrived, that was clearly not the case. Despite many open tables, we were told we would have to wait over an hour. We even offered to split our group into multiple tables just so we could sit and order. While we were standing there trying to figure out what to do, they seated another group of 11 people with no problem. To make it worse, when we asked if we could at least sit somewhere and order drinks while waiting, we were told no. If the restaurant didn't want to accommodate a larger group, that should have been communicated when we called. Instead, we were given inaccurate information, showed up with a group expecting to be welcomed, and were essentially turned away. We left and took our business somewhere else. First the over all experience was amazing. We were meeting family with a new baby, so when we arrived a tad early we asked for a booth large enough for a car seat and the hostess knew exactly what we were looking for and delivered in the most perfect way. As we waited for family to arrive our server checked in on us but didn't rush us to order even when our family showed up 20-25min lates. When we ordered we asked some questions about some apps and she explained in a very appetizingly and in an enthusiastic way. We ordered chicken quesadilla and pretzel bread both amazing and will order when we visit again!! My family ordered a steak salad and burger both looked amazing. Restaurant was very clean, not to loud but also not so quiet you could hear the table or booth next to us conversations. Our server checked in on us appropriately and refilled my tea with our missing a beat. Over all wonderful and looking forward to our next trip to strongsville. The wife and I decided to try the Brew Garden after doing some early morning shopping at the mall. We ordered the Bavarian Pretzel sticks for an appetizer and they were good. For lunch we both decide on the same sandwich, the "Cleveland Press" and chips. The sandwich came out hot but much smaller than expected. Each sandwich $21.00, the pretzel sticks were $12.00, the Lemonade and Ice Tea drinks we ordered were $3.25 each for a total of $60.50. When we received the check there was a 4% sure charge added, it was labeled as " food/bev increase"??? Not sure why??? Total bill with tax was a whopping $67.95, for lunch, no alcohol, no dessert. Out the door with a tip - $80.95. SERIOUSLY??? This place is absolutely no 5 star establishment but the pricing sure is. The food quality was nothing special. Came in for a quick lunch while we were out shopping. Ordered truffle fries for an appetizer it was out and at our table within 2 minutes of ordering. They were fine definitely made a while ago and under a warmer. My friend and I both ordered the teriyaki noodle bowl add chicken. This was out within 10 minutes... it was HORRIBLE.. I'm all for flavors but this could have been a soup. Not kidding. I think they didn't even cook the vegetables and threw it in the sauce. Needless to say our food was below sub par and we paid over 60 dollars. Awesome decorations love the vibe but I will never be returning to this place. Christmas decorations were really nice. We had a group of 15. We placed our orders when the drinks came out everyone received their adult beverages except me. We then had one more person show up that ordered as well. I got my drink then the food came out. Most of the food was average at best but my sliders were so dry I did not eat them as I could barely chock the first bite down. Our late arrival never got her food. The waitress/ bartender I. The back room never came over to check on us to see how things were and if anything else was needed. We had a Tuesday dinner reservation the week before Christmas. They sat us at our table right away, waitress was friendly, food was pretty good, and decor was the best part. However, the parking just about ruined the experience for us. The lot was completely full even with cars making their own spots making the aisle ways super narrow. Our only option was parking at planet fitness and walking down a super snowy hill to the road, or parking up at the mall and walking the road. It was freezing. When I told the hostesses they acted like they had no idea and said they usually run a shuttle during the weekend but not during the week. You have a packed restaurant around Christmas time, know your reservations are completely booked and still take walk ins, and know that you have limited parking. Why would you not run that shuttle close to the holiday even during the week? read more

Atmosphere is nice , we went around 8 for dinner . My cod sandwich was over cooked ! And the chicken street tacos weren't not good quality chicken . Was horrible if you ask me ! We also ordered 2 sex in the beach and they taste like orange juice with a splash of grinidine . I'm unsure if our food and service was bad because we were the only minorities in the whole building . We went out to Brew Garden to check out the Halloween decor and grab some dinner. The decorations look like they were put up by a professional team of people as they were perfect in every way. The service was great even with massive amounts of people there for a Halloween event that was taking place. The food was fantastic and I highly recommend getting the truffle fries appetizers for the table or in place of fries for a meal. My fiancée got a salad and it was delicious. My wings were sauced with care and I had plenty to take home for leftovers. Highly recommend the Honey Sriracha sauce in this case. Our friend got a Commando burger and said it was done well and very good. I can't wait to see the Christmas decorations in December when we go back. 10/10 read more
