I've ordered a few different items from here such as the teas, pastries, and slushy. The food doesn't disappoint. It's average café food, but I do enjoy the different teas and all the variety that they have to offer. They also serve alcohol, which is cool after Going there to have a coffee or tea with someone. I really enjoyed the wine slushy. The vibe is immaculate. Very modern and trendy but still rustic. You could be a parent coming here or a college student coming here and still have a pleasurable experience. There's also seating outside which is very lovely.the service is usually and I've never had a bad encounter here. Brought my 4 year old for a coffee date since he got off of school early. He needed to use the restroom bad by the time we walked up and I asked if they had restrooms, the barista answered no so I walked around to see if I could find one and noticed her serving people food. Then I asked her again "there's no restroom for customers" and she said "yes, for paying customers". Really??! came here looking for a study spot. off the bat, it's small but cute. there was a water pitcher which was nice considering the weather. i came in and ordered an iced matcha and avocado toast. i am a rather big matcha fan and as someone who frequents cafes, i feel like it's a pretty standard drink to know how to make. for best flavor, you heat water, add sugar or sweetener for the granules to latch onto, then sift the matcha powder in to avoid clumping. this is how i make my own matcha at home and how i've seen other cafes do it as well. i got to see the barista make my matcha as i was paying and noticed immediately that none of those steps were followed. the matcha was scooped right from the bag into a cup with ice already in it. when i got my drink and noticed the massive amount of clumping, i wasn't surprised at all. not only were there clumps, but the color was extremely off. rather than a light sea moss green like a matcha latte should be, it was this murky beige that just looked like a slightly darker oat milk. there was no matcha flavor at all. this was the absolute worst matcha i've ever had in my life. as for the avocado toast, it was super lemony. lemon is one of my favorite flavors and i frequently add it to my own avocado toast, but this felt absolutely soaked in lemon juice. it was so strong and overpowering i struggled to finish it. at the very least i added an egg to offset it, but it still didn't help tone it down at all. if you go here just to study, you might have an alright time, but if you order anything food or drink, prepare to be disappointed. read more

My boyfriend and I came here at 8:14 am on a Saturday and just wanted a light breakfast and some coffees. I got a almond coffee latte with sugar free Carmel and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a regular coffee and we not got breakfast burritos. They make the burritos in house and I would rate them like 7/10 and they were fair and I would get them again like if I was on the go. The girl behind the counter Laura is extremely friendly and she was very catering. They also have games in the corner you could sit and play. Tried this coffee house. I'd pass on the coffee and coffee cake. I ordered my usual go to Caffe Mocha.... and blah.... lukewarm, barely tasted the cocoa. The coffee cake that I also ordered looked delicious but pretty much bland. It had a bottom layer of caramel-like sauce that didn't taste like coffee. The crumb crust topping was mushy. Don't waste your money on this dessert. The only reason this place got 4-stars was the totally outside ambience shaded bistro tables. Otherwise, it would have been a 3-star rating. read more

I've been here a couple of times .Place has gone down hill they seem to always be out of something like mocha , oat milk , and chips and no regular Red Bull just sugar free. The older lady with the long ponytail is super dry and rude always on her phone. The short heavy set blonde middle aged woman seems to be very rude with other employees and customers and looks like she's rushing drinks. Just about the only great hospitality and service I've received were from the two young men that work there , they're under appreciated . read more

The coffee here is good, I got a americano, really enjoyed the flavor of my brew, but my advice is to stick to the coffee. They don't make the food there and it tastes like it, just warmed up. Had a breakfast burrito, and it was not good, the cheese was nasty and so was the sausage, and the tortilla was gross as well. I would come back for coffee, but not the food. The baked items looked good in the case for what that's worth, but I didn't try any. read more

I like the decor in this coffee shop it's cute. However, the only thing I would prefer is for the espresso shots to be a bit more strong. I ordered a small iced vanilla latte , it tasted very sweet, I could barely taste any espresso in there. Now what I really enjoyed was the bacon Gouda and egg breakfast sandwich! This thing was filling and the sauce that comes with it ( even though it tastes like a salsa for chip dipping) paired VERY WELL! I will definitely be coming back for another one of those sandwiches, it is worth the price compared to a small Gouda sandwich from Starbucks . read more

This coffee spot was just what I was looking for !! I had been here prior to the new ownership, but man did these new owners transform this place! You first walk in and notice all the decor. Very modern and trendy. They have seating inside and outside. All of the workers were super nice and very talkative. They have all different selections of drinks, from hot coffee, iced coffee, nitro brew coffee, tea and I believe even alcoholic beverages as well. And they had food too. Stopped in to check it out. The girl behind the counter was training about her girl and didn't acknowledge us for a while, but finally did and was friendly. I asked for an Affogato (gelato with an espresso shot) she gave me like a teaspoon of Ice cream, and when she handed it to me, It was just melted into a shot so no ice cream... I walked away disappointed and mad because it was just a rip off. Hopefully they look up what it should look like, so they can better serve their paying customers. I actually love coming to this place because the food and beverages taste great but especially on busy days- it's highly disorganized. I ordered a small mocha and an egg, cheese and bacon bagel. With four people working behind the bar, my mocha came out promptly but it took over 20 minutes for me to get my bagel and I had to remind workers twice I was still waiting. Pretty upsetting watching other people get their orders while I wait for mine. I still recommend you visiting here but expect it to be slightly disorganized and expect a wait. read more

Matcha latte was a bit sweet for my taste. I was told they got new matcha which was already pre-sweetened & so just keep this in mind. I asked staff for a dessert suggestion that isn't very sweet, and was recommended a chocolate chip loaf cake. They keep their dessert refrigerated which was great for a hot summer day. It was served on a wooden platter since we were eating in shop (a really nice touch!). The loaf cake wasn't too sweet and the chocolate chips didn't melt as I was eating since it was kept cold which kept my fingers clean! A side note: staff was super helpful and sweet, even offered to switch out the loaf cake with something else if I found it too sweet. read more

The sides collection (muffins, scones, etc.), are dry and unappetizing (the baker from previous owners made croissants that were BOMB). The decor is pleasant (2 stars). Wow see their post from May about being safe with Covid 19, but then went in today November 8th and the owner was making coffee with no mask and only two us came in with a mask. All customers sitting didn't look like they even had masks handy. The servers wore masks so gee thanks. Usually hit this place on a long walk on the weekends but no more. If the owner does not respect what is going on the world, then she will not get my business any longer......although i am sure a number of people in Lodi will now go because of her no mask rule. I met a friend for lunch the sandwiches are reasonably priced and come with a bag of chips, i grabbed a can soda because it was mid day and I didn't want more caffeine but their coffee set up looked really nice I will definitely go back for that, the decor and music was good everyone was enjoying the space. I've tried to support this business from day one, but it has progressively gone down hill. I've never once been greeted with a smile or welcome. The last two times I've stopped in, I was told they are out of brewed coffee. At 1:30 in the afternoon? I was told that they close at 5:00, and once the coffee is gone they don't brew any more. Are you serious? You're a coffee place. Brew some coffee! It's not like they were too busy since I was the only person there. I guess this is their way of getting you to buy a more expensive drink instead. I've tried a few there, and they were just ok for the price. Two times with no coffee and less-than-friendly reception has caused me to walk out with nothing. *** I have updated my review to a 3-star. The food is prepared quickly and tastes really good, I like the loaded breakfast burrito and cream cheese muffin. They have lots of options from coffee, beer, wine, alcohol-slushees, gelato, baked goods, breakfast food and the servers are always really nice, patient and explain ingredients in coffees or food happily, really enjoyable place to sit inside and listen to music or outside while quiet foot traffic of down town Lodi. Awesome addition to downtown! Love the decor, very simple and clean. Lots of tables and looks like they've done a great job utilizing the space they have. Espresso is insanely good! My husband and I ordered iced mochas (mine with almond milk) and my sister got an iced vanilla latte. Everyone loved their drinks. We also tried the breakfast sandos - I got the garlic sausage on ciabatta and my sister and husband got the regular sausage on English muffin. Those were delicious as well and everything was very reasonably priced. The service was awesome and they were really fast getting the drinks and food out.
