Nice, quiet, cool place to come have breakfast and start your day. I've gotten the French toast and their pastries. Came here last year when driving through for work. Came back and had a better experience this year. Places like this make me fall in love with Bellow Falls

Chicken Salad Sandwhich

Absolutely adorable! We sat on the couch right by the window, surrounded by art and plants. Our waitress was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich and the french toast monte cristo. The french toast was out of this world! Some of the fluffiest I've ever had, with real maple syrup. We loved the addition of the fresh watermelon on the side! The chicken salad sandwich was decent, but could have used a little more flavor. It came with a side of rice which was served cold; we found this to be a strange choice for a side. I would have enjoyed it more if it had been served warm. All around, a great expereince! I would ceetainly recommend stopping in for a bite. Please note, while they accept payment with cards, tips are cash only.

A perfect spot in Bellows Falls VT, for a good delicious healthy lunch on our way driving through Vermont, either heading up to Stowe or returning home to New York. Serving hearty soups, sandwiches and salads. Piping hot coffee, cappuccino, teas and hot chocolate. Delicious smoothies and fresh baked goods. Open space. Always good!

We had a most excellent lunch here! I would definitely recommend it. This is a charming little cafe that serves breakfast and lunch and also has a nice coffee/espresso to go service with lovely baked goods. The three of us had some great lunches. All were super fresh with wonderful greens in both a salad and on the sandwiches. I had a super tasty bowl of broccoli cheddar soup and a roast beef wrap. Sooo good! Don't hesitate to dine here!

Apple cinnamon French toast, espresso chocolate chip scone, coffee, steak and Vermont cheese burrito.

Stopped in for breakfast at this affordable and yummy spot! The coffee is self serve and feature really great and local brews. I had the apple french toast of the day and my boyfriend had the steak and egg burrito. The espresso chocolate scone didn't taste much like espresso but the chocolate chips were yummy. Great little spot with lots of locals chatting around, with super friendly and quick service.

I read several reviews before I came and all I can say is they don't lie. The soup of the day was warm and filling and the meatloaf sandwich was not only handsome but every good. I would say more but I think my first sentence says it all. I would come back here for lunch anytime.

Grilled cheese for the kids.

I suppose all good things come and go from a gas station, whether it be to get your vehicle fueled…read morefor a long journey ahead to rush to the eastern seaboard, head to the mountain to get some fresh powder under your ski's or to find a hidden section in a river away from people. I say this merely because if you think food from a gas station is beneath you, subpar or otherwise "above it" you're missing out my friend. The interior of the store is dated and have very little in the way of seating to eat your food, when I first entered there was one table for 4 and one side had boxes stacked on top of it. So there really isn't much to look at I suppose. The service was great, the young woman behind the counter took our order and immediately set to task all while entertaining questions about their establishment and its roots. Overall I would give her a 5 star rating. On to the better part. My wife enjoyed a pulled pork meal which she was satisfied with, the only thing to note was there wasn't a huge Smokey flavor with the meat. It wasn't unnoticeable but it wasn't there enough to say it was smoked enough. The Mac and cheese that came with it was creamy and delicious as you would expect from a Mac and cheese but lacked any spice. The coleslaw again was less than remarkable but still well put together and tasted fresh, just very mayo heavy. My meal consisted of the Jeremiah Johnson. The brisket was cooked to absolute perfection, the fat cap appeared to be trimmed to perfection and had a beautiful deep bark with a light smoke ring. The mashed potatoes were made fresh as was the gravy (albeit a bit greasy for me) it was still phenomenal. The Mushrooms and onions were a great addition and well caramelized. The only real thing to note is when you think of this dish as BBQ, You would expect sauce rather than gravy, albeit it was greasy, it was still good and tied the dish together well. I would suggest getting BBQ sauce and asking to have the gravy kept from the dish if possible or placed on the side to have a feel for what I am talking about and make your own decision! Overall I would definitely say for a NE establishment this was still a solid BBQ choice!

"My grandma she can make a soup With a little a this 'n that…read moreBut with grandma cookin no need to worry! Just a little a this 'n that" (Pete Seeger) My final review of 2022 will describe the worst customer service we encountered all year. We had an errand to run in Sturbridge and figured we'd include a lunch stop in town. The Yelp app brought us to Soup to Nuts. #1) I love soup and #2) it's located inside the Sturbridge Marketplace, so we figured we'd do some shopping and browsing too. When we approached Soup to Nuts we saw a sign that said they opened at 11:00. The front door had another sign that said they opened at 12:00. Since the door was locked, and it was about 11:30, we figured we'd check out the Sturbridge Flea Market and come back. At 12:02 their front door was unlocked, and the sign announcing the 12:00 opening was gone. As we entered the restaurant, we were "greeted" by four words spoken (or more accurately snarled) in a very gruff and rude manner - "we're not open yet". Tone of voice matters, and I will look you straight in the eye and put my hand on a stack of bibles and tell you his tone was beligerant and angry (to the point of aggressive). It was beyond rude. It was shocking. So we turned around, left and never came back. Happy New Year ya filthy animal.

This was our second visit to this establishment, I came back specifically for the corn chowder…read morebecause it's so good. I will say that on our first visit we thought the owner was initially a bit gruff as others had mentioned but we quickly realized that's not the case and he is an incredibly gracious host. We've had both the corn chowder and sandwiches here and they are delicious! Keep in mind with some reviews that people are the problem and not the establishment.
