I was only in Bend for a night and I needed something to get me down the highway towards Eugene. Brewed Awakenings offered up just what I needed, maybe the best cup of coffee I've had in many miles. The dark roast drip and an iced vanilla latte did not last long, but both were exactly the companions that we needed to ford the miles through the wildfire smoke and down the other side of the mountains. The dark roast is exceptionally strong and bold but does not taste burnt. Settle it down with a splash of cream and you have an outstanding cup of coffee. The iced latte had just the right amount of espresso and went down fine, even with the ice. Friendly baristas and two drive-through windows make this Bend coffee stop a winner in my book. read more

I've always had good coffee and good service here. Even when there are a couple of cars in line it moves pretty quickly. And it's much higher quality coffee than the adjacent gas station. They have all the normal coffee things you would expect, plus smoothies, some breakfast items, etc. read more

The breakfast bagels/wraps/sandwiches are good. Unfortunately, their baked goods trend overly sweet. The skillful baristas are always authentically warm and social without being scripted or gabby. The espresso is reliably delicious with just a hint of sugar & cream! And they happily tailor any drink to your every preference. Their cardamom latte is the best. The service is quick as the team works well together in this small drive through shop in Bend. And smiles seen even with their masks on, they are accommodating and friendly. The Sunriver scones are delicious. Wow what an amazing surprise!!! Had not been here until today. The coffee was absolutely fantastic and let me tell you I'm a coffee snob. I had an iced black and white mocha. My hubby had an americano and we both got a maple bar. The pastries are from Richard's bakery-nice choice guys!! They donuts tasted like they were made in heaven and dropped into their pastry case. Horrible! Bad service. They don't have their menu updated for one! I ordered a Red Bull as it says on their menu. Well I'm glad I looked over and saw she was pouring a monster instead of a red Bull. I can't have monster as it makes me sick an really bad. Monster and Red Bull are very different energy drinks. I proceeded to tell her no I can't have that. I ordered a red Bull well they don't have red Bull anymore! She didn't even mention that it was going to be monster. I told her it's very very dangerous to not even tell the customer it was going to be different. She kept saying she agreeed as both her and the other girl were in the wrong! I love this place because of how they're conveniently located right as you leave Bend on highway 20. It's super easy to quick pull through after a lengthy drive from Idaho for a mid-day pick me up. They're coffee always tastes fresh no matter the time of the day. I'm also a huge fan of their pastries, notably their coffee cakes! read more

I was very happy with my visit. There were a total of 4 people in front of me, but the line moved quickly. The barista was friendly and helped me choose a drink since it was my first time. I settled on the Black Forest. It was flavorful without being sickeningly sweet (which I appreciated). It was not served boiling hot, so I was able to drink it right away. If you are one of those who like to drink lava in the morning, I would suggest you ask for it "extra hot". It even came with a chocolate covered cherry! I will definitely be back. read more

The coffee was bitter even in an iced white mocha and Mexican mocha. I probably would not return.

Initially we loved Brewed Awakenings, but the last few months we have been disappointed so many times. 4 out of the last 5 times we've been there they have messed up our orders. The staff are friendly, but incredibly slow. We've had different baristas every time and it's been the same every time. We don't order difficult drinks so there's really no reason to mess it up. Sadly, I think we are done with Brewed Awakenings. No more chocolate covered espresso beans with our drinks either. :-( read more

They're at it again! I introduced my husband to this little gem and he was pleasantly surprised! He ordered a Pineapple Craze(?) and they were more than happy to substitute yogurt for the orange juice at his request. I got a sugar free vanilla latte which I thoroughly enjoyed. We also split an Almond Poppy seed muffin which was very flavorful and included a crunchy topping which had actual almonds on it! The texture of their baked goods surpasses other bakeries in the area and exceeds any of the Costco goods than many coffee shops sell. read more

YUM! As a totally complicated, coffee snob I love that Brewed Awakenings serves up the perfect cup every time. Their coffee is artisan roasted and is the perfect blend of bold and smooth. But truly my favorite thing about the Eastside Bend location is the baristas are every bit as good as the coffee. As a regular my drink is often ready before I reach the window and always handed over with a smile and some fun conversation. Chit chatting with whomever is standing in the window when I drive through is always a bright spot in my day. These guys take the time to know their customers, and serve up laughs alongside your drink. They have a great menu for non coffee drinkers, smoothies, italian sodas, teas and other specialty drinks along with a breakfast sandwich, bagel or fresh baked pastry for a bite on the go. This place is part of my daily grind and my go to for my daily dose of happiness in a cup. I often drive out of my way bypassing other shops just to swing through the drive through at Brewed Awakenings. The best part....they aren't Starbucks or Dutch Bros. Get some! read more

Amazing coffee! I was really impressed with how fresh and aromatic the drink was, I will for sure be going back. The reason I'm rating a 4 instead of a 5 is I felt really rushed as a first time customer the whole time I was there. No one was in line behind me and I was trying to order for friends who weren't with me. We were all really excited to try this place but wanted a couple different things to try.
