    They have breakfast sandwiches too!
    Cody H D.

I've always had good coffee and good service here. Even when there are a couple of cars in line it moves pretty quickly. And it's much higher quality coffee than the adjacent gas station. They have all the normal coffee things you would expect, plus smoothies, some breakfast items, etc.

I love this place because of how they're conveniently located right as you leave Bend on highway 20. It's super easy to quick pull through after a lengthy drive from Idaho for a mid-day pick me up. They're coffee always tastes fresh no matter the time of the day. I'm also a huge fan of their pastries, notably their coffee cakes!

The worst peanut butter chino I've ever had

Ordered a blended peanut butter chino and pretty much got an iced version.. Have never run into problems at their stand in Portland. Quality is poor.

Fantastic service, speedy quick, BEST coffee in town, favorite coffee place in Bend by far. I go there so often all I need is a thumbs up out the window if I'm a couple cars back and they know exactly what I want. And it's ready right when I get to the window. It's like cheers, where everybody knows your name, LOL

The service is always so kind- it's my go to drive through spot in town! My favorite is their drip coffee or hazelnut latte

Good coffee. Friendly staff. Didn't judge me when I asked for extra shots. Gave the dog a treat... cool place.

The coffee was bitter even in an iced white mocha and Mexican mocha. I probably would not return.

Cafe des Chutes is a cute, European-style cafe that invites you to slow day and enjoy a pastry and coffee on their patio. During each visit, we ordered coffee and at least two items to try a little bit of everyone. I loved that they were offering samples on both days that we went - one day was the Oregon roll and the other was their specialty bread pudding. I was sold on the Oregon Roll! This is their speciality, rolls up marionberry jam inside a croissant with a hazelnut butter glaze. Other items we ordered included the pistachio croissant, peanut butter brownie, Brie and fig jam baguette, jalepeno cheddar scone, and seasonal bread pudding. Everything was a chef's kiss! You can't go wrong here. Be prepared to drop a bag you won't regret. We spent at least $50 during each visit but we were satisfied with our selection. I still dream of this spot and highly recommend for anyone looking for a good cafe outside of downtown Bend!

We came here for a weekend lunch, ordered baguette sandwiches, coffees, and a hazelnut cookie. All were delicious and they had lots to choose from! We enjoyed walking around afterwards, as the area is perfect for a small outing and shopping. Lots of available free parking as well. We'll be back!

The vibe here is modern and minimal -- clean lines, local art on the walls, airy space that feels both calm and alive. I ordered a 16 oz matcha latte and a honey-lavender latte (because why pick just one?). Total came out to about $12.25 each for the largest size. Yep, a little pricier than your corner coffee spot, but honestly worth it. Both drinks were smooth and balanced -- the matcha was creamy, not bitter at all, while the lavender latte had that perfect floral hint without overpowering the coffee. Bonus: the latte art heart on top was simple but done with care, which tells you a lot about the barista. And speaking of service -- the barista was the highlight. Friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to suggest a roast I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. That level of confidence and genuine warmth elevates the entire experience. Now, a small caveat: there's no restroom inside. They'll give you a code for the one just behind the wall -- super clean and convenient once you know, but still something to keep in mind if you're planning to hang out. Overall? 5 stars, easy. Pricey, sure, but you're paying for quality, atmosphere, and people who care. If I could give 6 stars for service, I would. I'll be back for sure.

I…read moresaw that Backporch Coffee Roasters had a honey lavender latte that caught my eye, so I stopped by to try one. The space inside is well designed, there is plenty of seating and this would be a great place to get some work done. The service here was solid. I hate to say this though, but the honey lavender latte (with an oat milk substitute) wasn't doing it for me. The coffee tasted really watered down. It lacked depth and didn't taste like coffee that would come from a brick-and-mortar store. This review is purely based off the one cup I ordered. I wish I had more of a sample size to base my review off.
