My first time at Brewed Awakenings Coffee House. Met a friend who goes often. Their menu was quite extensive. There was something for everyone, even kids. When I walked in the I did not expect a fireplace in the middle of the room. They comfy chairs on both sides of the fireplace, very nice touch. Plus they had regular tables an chairs. The Barista was very welcoming and efficient. I ordered a grande Turkish Hazelnut Latte. It was so delicious and hot. I would order this again. Visited here on a weekday to get some work done. I did not expect it to have such chaotic vibes. The staff seemed haywire. Everyone was yelling. It was really loud. The coffee wasn't great. Milk wasn't creamy enough. Monin syrups are such bad quality. Sweet with little flavor. The coffee was okay. Not too acidic at least. I wouldn't probably come to work here again. this place has a great atmosphere- if you are interested in coming here i would definitely coming inside and having a seat for your breakfast / coffee. i got the espresso mocha and it is amazing with a good balance of the sweet and coffee. i also got the everything bagel with cheddar and cream cheese which was wonderful, but i had to do the cream cheese myself and i am kind of a baby about that. My boyfriend got a hazelnut latte which he said is delicious and very hazelnut forward. he got their egg and sausage sandwich and said that overall it was good but the sausage didnt have a lot of flavor and kinda wet. the staff here are all wonderful and kinda. our coffee and food only took maybe 5 minutes and, while we were just sitting here, we observed the staff reunite someone with lost keys and help a customer with their drink. i wish i could give this place like a 4.75 but i cannot :( read more

Wonderful first time experience here. I am new to the PNW and saw this franchise while passing thru various parts of Washington. Thought to stop by and try it out. I stopped here first and was greeted by the friendly staff and given a delicious cup of coffee. My boyfriend and I hung out here every weekend for a month or so, but we've got to switch elsewhere. The workers aren't very friendly at all, and I guess they just don't train their baristas, because the main reason we're going to start going elsewhere is because they have no idea how to properly steam milk, so it sounds like a jet taking off every single time they make a latte. It sucks to have to raise your voice super loud every time they steam milk! read more

Superb coffee with zillions of choices including MEXICAN MOCHA and BLACK FOREST COFFEE that came furnished with a chocolate covered cherry! I ordered a tea because I am not a coffee drinker and they had passion iced tea with a passion purée that was so delicious. They are willing and happy to concoct any drink you can imagine if they have the ingredients to do it. And believe me, they have lots of syrups and homemade purées, they have a wonderful place inside with pleasant music and it would be a fun place to just hang out and read or study or work. But the best part of this place besides the incredible drinks are the employees who are the most joyful people to be around. They will make your day happier! read more

I love the Tahitian Vanilla Coolers at Brewed!! I discovered them years ago when they opened! Since then, I have relocated to Arizona. Sadly, they don't have any coffee places that have a similar beverage. So, every time I'm in town I have this delicious beverage to look forward to! Went there today and tipped when I paid. Ordered a smoothie. When I went to pick it up, there was smoothie all over the top of the lid. I told her to please wipe that off, which she did but then I noticed I'd need a spoon to eat it so I pointed out that it wasn't processed enough. I was mad so just took it anyway as I needed to eat because I was getting hypoglycemic. When I went to eat it, I had to pull over off the street to dump some of it out because as I opened it it overflowed and spilled all over. I ate some and my stomach immediately started churning so it was rotten. I had to throw it away. I will never go here again. I've used other Brewed Awakenings and always get good service from them so this one clearly had issues that are unique to this location. read more

I usually go through the drive thru about once a week but the past few weeks have been disappointing. This afternoon I spent 25 minutes in the drive thru behind only 3 cars ( the speaker was broken so I thought this might be the cause of the delay) When I got to the window and ordered and paid I waited another 15 minutes. Menu is set up different than most others. But it makes it easier to decide what you want, as long as you have some time. As always, I opted for an americano and then I add a flavor, caramel being my weapon of choice this time around. Fireplaces are always a plus in my opinion. Cold weather, and sometimes even warm weather. They have a double sided fireplace, so if you can snatch one of those spots, youre a lucky duck. However, if you order something from the pre-made menu, prepare to drink pure sugar. They have the sweetest drinks I have ever had (if you order them as-is). I was concerned that they did this to cover up bad espresso, but that was not the case. I get americanos with not even a full pump/scoop so I am able to enjoy the actual bean, and I approve. read more

They have great coffee here and a few choices for sweets that I enjoy. They also have a surprisingly good shake selection of which the White Cow is a must try. The lemon bars are among the better I have had, when they have them. Occasionally the inside gets a little noisy with the "blender from hell" (Seriously, I think it must be powered by an old truck engine) but otherwise its a good place to work and they have plenty of seating varying from comfortable overstuffed chairs to a few tables and even a large one that seats six if you need to get a group together. There is also a fireplace but I haven't been in when it would be a fireplace day but it looks cool. Service is great in the drive through and really good up front unless they have wandered in the back. The doors don't make noise when you come in so just get their attention and they will make sure you are taken care of. read more

This ain't no slam against Brewed Awakenings, just bummed that their lobby isn't open for warm conversation for patrons, yet. Governor Inslee (Washington State Governor) allowed Clark County to move to Phase 2 on 2/14/21, which means restaurants, coffee shops, places that offer food and drink to have indoor dining/eating open at 25% capacity. I stopped by on 2/19/21 and there is a half-assed sign on the the entrance door that says that the lobby is closed. When I checked google to confirm the night before, it had the green check mark for indoor dining. When I arrived at 6:58a for my 7a appointment, I noticed the sign. I called the location off of 164th to confirm, the kind barista informed me that the lobby was indeed closed and that owner is thinking the lobby will open in May. read more

White Cow mocha too sweet to drink. Stood at register for a few minutes. Moved to side counter in front of girl. Waited a few minutes...then a few more. Then spoke up and told her what I needed (A little hot water to thin it out.) She said, "ummm...okay." Waited several more minutes. Finally left with no water. Threw out coffee, because I was on the go and couldn't drink it. Atmosphere: one guy sitting inside on a chair reading. A lady with a small order just left and I was the only person in line the whole time. Drive thru could not have been too busy, because I parked near it and saw no cars. A decent coffee house that I saw on just a couple of corners during my little jaunt to the Pacific Northwest. The decor (and clientele!) warrants another visit, if I'm ever up here again for work. Upon walking in, I was pleasantly surprised to see a two-sided fire brick and glass enclosed fireplace at the center of the room. In the carpeted area on either side of said fireplace were about 9-10 cushy armchairs, three love seats... and coffee tables (naturally!). By the large windows were a handful of high tables and highchairs. From the number of laptops opened and aglow, I assume there was free wi-fi... The menu is rampant with espresso drinks that sound way-WAY too sweet, and many at a SBux-level monetary premium... They also offered quite a few smoothies - which also sounded way too sweet - so the diversity and choice is widely ranged. The staffers were very friendly (and cute!), inquisitive about my tastes when I asked for a recommendation. Did I mention cute? Yes? Because they were cute. I opted for a small double Kahlua and Creme. Perfect!
