The staff at the Lafayette location is trained to ensure that a matcha latte should consistently have a medium to dark green hue. However, the one I received from the location next to McGuckins was almost white (8 oz), indicating a lack of proper training. I didn't feel it was necessary to ask for another one, as I shouldn't have to explain why a 'non-green' matcha is an issue. The problem could stem from excessively hot water, an excessive amount of water, or low-quality matcha. I doubted that requesting a new one would yield a different result if my first drink was incorrect. Nice atmosphere, coffees are all good, as well as the pastries. I usually stop in the one in Lafayette once and awhile ordering a matcha; small with oat milk and it's always nice and green and very good. read more

Great cafe. I love coffee, and this was the best that I have had in Boulder. The Barista's hit every mark on how to make a great crafted drink and keep the machine clean. The merchandise in the store is some of the better brands. This is what a coffee shop should be, and is obvious from the amount of locals that frequent, as the actually do know there name. Nice place for a quick coffee date with friends. I liked my matcha latte and cream cheese cronut. There's ample parking in the area and there's a good amount of seating inside. It's not the cleanest and the overall ambiance is very laid back. I'd recommend it for a casual get together to grab some coffees or something. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. Our interaction with the barista began as she finished her conversation raving about how horrible the establishment was and how she was so happy Tuesday was going to be her last day of work. We ordered a nitro cold brew and a half-caff iced americano. We waited for 10 minutes as the barista refused to make our order because she "can't understand what we wanted with a half-caff americano". We explained multiple times that we wanted half decaf espresso. Finally another barista came over to make the coffee because the barista REFUSED after taking our money. We were left confused, upset, embarrassed and truthfully felt as though we were just bullied by this barista she was so mean to us. We just moved to Boulder and have been trying multiple coffee shops in the area and unfortunately will never be back here. read more

My favorite place to buy bulk coffee in town. They have wide variety from light roast to dark roast. They also some selection of organic and fair trade. The bulk coffees are not cheap (of the order of $15/pound. But the quality of the roasting is worth every penny. While I love their bulk coffee, I am not the biggest fan of the coffee they serve. This is the reason I am rating them 4 stars instead of 5 stars. So I prefer to buy my bulk coffee from them and make my own cup at home. read more

Coffee shop in The Village. Indoor and outdoor seating. The drinks are nice enough. Biggest problem is that they don't tell you what the prices are. According to their own notice, their posted prices are out of date; and many items have no prices on them anyway. No receipt either. read more

We arrived 15 minutes after they opened. Three of us ordered a pour over coffee and we're told "it takes too long because they just opened." If you're the owner or manager of this place, I'm sorry that you have lazy people who don't care about the success of your business working for you. Stopped here since we couldn't find the other place that I was hoping to get a smoothie from. I ordered their iced caramel latte and cold brew coffee. Both were a bit bitter so good thing I added in some simple syrup into the latte before leaving. Place had a variety of folks hanging out and they had some food in a cooler if you were looking for more than coffee. I love finding new coffee places but since I just took the drinks to go, I didn't get a good idea of the vibe or whether it was a cool place to hang out. Based on the number of folks there though, I would think it likely is a nice place to stay. :) read more

This place is amazing, they have an assortment of pastries and breakfast items to choose from. Their lattes are always very well made. They have a large bulk tea section as well as a variety of Japanese infuser mugs. Outdoor seating is inviting and you'll be met by small birds grazing the patio. I've been a patron for 3 years now. The coffee and service are generally good. In fact there are some really cool baristas that work there. It's expensive and I'm a a good tipper. My main concern is that I ordered 2 iced lattes and what appears to be a new barista ignored my request for a straw. Upon request she pretended that she understood me and continued to ignore me and my daughter for 5 minutes until we finally left with no straw. This was after tipping 20% on $14 worth of lattes. read more

Stopped in here for some coffee today, and it didn't disappoint! I got an americano and my wife got Turkish coffee. My americano was great and the Turkish coffee was a very fun process to watch... tastes pretty good too! There was a nice outdoor seating area, and the pastries looked great but we didn't get any of them. Ultimately, great place to stop in for some quality coffee. Plus it's next to a huge ace hardware store, where you can literally find anything you need from outdoor gear to snacks, and all normal stuff in an Ace Hardware store. read more
