While I use to love going to the Brewing Market I have recently have been very disappointed with the management. The baristas have a very negative and victim hood approach to working. This one guy who i think is names Jake, is a jerk! I mean my goodness how hard is it to be nice when I'm ordering coffee. Why is that poor service can leave a bad taste in your mouth even when I am drinking a good cup of joe. I will be taking my money elsewhere as there are so many other coffee shops in Boulder. Great coffee. HORRIBLE MUSIC as of late! What happened? This used to be such a nice relaxed setting to enjoy your coffee. I miss the more subtle classical music. I remember coming here since I was little with my mom (a huge classical music and cappuccino fan). We shared so many nice memories here, and I have such an affinity for this place. Nostalgic in a way: the flowers outside, the coffee, all the beautiful chocolate displays. I'm not a huge classical music fan-but it set this place apart in a way. But lately it has changed! Dub step-electronic weird noise blasting at 8am is just too much. I couldn't even sit outside and enjoy my coffee it was so obnoxious. :( This has happened the last three times I have tried to enjoy my coffee at Brewers. Interestingly enough the couple next to me commented on how loud and distracting the music was, as they got up and left. Sadly, this will be the last time I have my morning coffee here. Service is good but their coffee/tea is just not good. I had their lattes, and it wasn't smooth and just did not taste good. I tried their chai lattes which they have a lot of choices in, but again it was not good. It's not flavorful and tasted bland. I do not recommend their chai tea if you're looking for the spicy chai taste. read more

I was pretty disappointed with the Brewing Market; their name is super cute, I just wish that everything else was as great as the name! Upon walking in, we weren't sure at which of the two counters we order coffee. The space is oddly shaped, and is cluttered with a variety of coffee paraphernalia, food, and knick-knacks. Because of this, there is not much seating, and the seating that exists is in the walkways which is inconvenient. The baristas were pretty rude and seemed bored/tired/annoyed (?). The nail in the coffin was the coffee which tasted burnt, sloppily made, and overall disappointing. read more

I probably shouldn't complain about this place as I met my wife there. However, whenever I go back I am frustrated as the service is very slow (especially if there is no woman in sight, those guys are so slow!!!). The coffee tastes alright, both Peet and Red Rock coffee are much better. The internet is very slow. It's a good place for just black coffee, but nothing else. Really rude staff. Unfriendly and had attitude when I mistakenly ordered a "tall" instead of a "small." The coffee was par. They gave my sister the wrong food (which we realized after we had already left). The products on the shelves are old and dirty. They had no one at the chocolate counter, and their labeling was terrible for all truffles. Hard to see prices. These guys need some cleaning supplies and to learn how to smile! read more

If you have the time to wait (sometimes 5-10 minutes), you will be happy with what you get! I love their caramel latte. They actually take the time to make good foam, and a pretty design on top usually :) Cheaper than Ozo, and WAYYY better than Vic's (that place is a joke). They recently renovated and the only complaint I have is that there are not very many places to sit inside now. read more

I was coming here every morning for a couple of months as I work nearby. Great coffee/tea and snack selection, nice sitting area and clean and quiet shop. A few of the staff that I enjoyed pleasantries with have left and been replaced by really rude people. Not even eye contact or a hint of a smile, standoffish attitude, and it seems to be getting worse. The rudest person I encounter all day shouldn't be the first person I interact with before I've had any caffeine. I'm going to start going somewhere else. read more

DO NOT go here if you have dietary restrictions! I have a serious medical condition and I carefully explained my needs to the barista. They are NOT AT ALL difficult to accommodate, but they are extremely important - to me, at least. But Brewing Market apparently couldn't have cared less. After waiting and waiting and waiting for my order, I finally went to the counter and asked about it. They couldn't even find it and ended up giving me someone else's food, which would have put me in the hospital had I taken so much as one bite. But luckily I noticed it was not what I ordered. They were completely indifferent about it, however, so there's no way I'll ever go back. If a customer's health isn't important to them, they have no business serving food. read more

I have been going to this coffee shop for years now and there is no better coffee, smoothies and staff anywhere. I do make it to other shops but their coffee is by far the best around. They also really know their beans when it comes to coffees, roasts, etc. It is a high traffic location with lots of regulars and sometimes chaotic but the barista's and counter folks really do a great job helping and are very customer service oriented. I absolutely love the coffee here and I make a special trip to the shop anytime I'm in town. My go to drinks are americanos, and nitro cold brew coffee. The espresso is creamy and not acidic or bitter. The nitro cold brew has such a magnificent head on it - SO creamy, it is almost like a Guinness. I've also had their green tea chai latte, which is spicy and a delicious little treat. I've had several baked goods - all great. They also offer a nice variety of chocolates and candies. An extensive amount of quality coffee and tea brewing supplies, too. read more

I was happy to find a place other than leading brand....moved back to Boulder from Denver where we have so many great coffee shops.... This is where Brewing Market falls short for me on my first visit (not sure I will try it again unless stranded and no other option): the staff at the desk was more interested in acting grandiose for show (to oneself) than to have grandiose customer service. I was smiling, happy coming in. I got really excited when I saw a vegan option in their food section. I saw another item that sees from the package and name it could be something I can eat but since no ingredients were listed I had to ask if they knew what was inside. All I got from the staff and the manager was: "well if it does not say vegan I would assume it is not". People!!! how about: "you know what? I would love to find out for you because we have a lot of request for vegan items and it would help us to know". I asked for the manufacturer's phone number (local company who thinks not listing ingredients is ok) and the staff gave me a number before I could write it down. Top it all off, the coffee is tasteless, and burnt vs roasted. Sorry for the crappy review but surely, I hope it helps find the light and smile in you, create better staff training and learn how to make coffee! Good luck read more

Most coffee shops in boulder are very good except starbucks. Brewing Market in The Village by McGuckin,s has great location with ample parking and clean outdoor tables. Coffee, food items all very good. Music is a bit annoying as is in most coffee shops. I think WiFi users who only purchase drink should leave a dollar tip for every hour they use space. read more

The Brewing Market has been my favorite coffee shop in Boulder for years. I'm not a real rabid coffee-girl, mostly drink Americanos, but I love other stuff about this place. The selection of roasted beans is excellent if you want to take home a bag, they have mountains of cool teapots and cups for sale, supplies for coffee-makers, and the world's BEST selection of fine and not-so-fine candies. Gourmet chocolates, great holiday selections, unique stuff. Of course the patio with the heaters next to the world's best hardware store and friendliest (spoiled) sparrows is great too. And last week I found their newest location in the Baseline shopping center. A fantastic back room to set up my laptop to work and a great front room where I played Mahjongg with some friends and no one *glared* at us. read more

I used to come here quite often when I still lived in the area. I don't come here as much now, because this place is a bit out of the way from where I live now. But I do enjoy having a coffee or tea when I do stop by. The blonde mocha and the chair with green tea are my 2 favorite drinks on the menu. The baked treats and burritos are also pretty good. I should try some of the chocolates at the chocolate counter sometime. The service is always OK... The Baristas are always friendly and nice enough. They get my order right and make it just the way I like it. The only issues I have is that sometimes the Wi-Fi is slow, the wait time to order can be a bit long (this can be a real annoyance when I am in a bit of a rush and don't have much time... There were a few times when I just gave up and left because there were so many people ahead of me,) and the inside seating area can get very crowded, especially on days when it's cold and snowing or when it's raining outside. In general, this is a pretty nice coffee shop, and I will keep stopping by when I am in the area. Not too sure when that will be, but I will come back. read more

I had never been to this place! Really glad I stumbled in, the coffee was great and the service was exceptional. It has a great selection of food items and candy/chocolate. Their menu is extensive and their baristas are very friendly and quick. I prefer Amante or Ozo at this point in time. Room to sit indoors and out. I agree with some of the other commentors that the service could be better. Nice selection of whole beans. Better than gas station coffee. Most of the time. Sometimes you strike gold where you least expect it on the road. I hope my next visit is as nice as Sarah J.'s or Nici S.'s. read more
