I've never had a mangonada before, but I've always heard about it. It's such a unique mix of sweet and spicy, and it's full of my favorite fruit, mango. The flavors were fun and refreshing, and I totally understand why people love it. The only thing (and this is definitely just personal preference) is that I'm not a big candy person, and the drink had a lot of candy mixed in. If it were the exact same mangonada but without the candy, it would easily be a five star for me. Still, I would 100% come back to try different things. I had the Espresso Explosion, a scooped ice cream, and my partner had a cone with the chocolate soft serve. My favorite ice cream is coffee, and the Espresso exceeded my expectations! It was rich and creamy with a deep coffee flavor that was accentuated with coffee beans that were coated with chocolate! The crunch of the beans with the ice cream was definitely an 'explosion'! My partner had the chocolate soft serve - which was a creamy and chocolaty as can be - you could see tiny little specks of chocolate in the ice cream which confirmed the luscious taste! The greenhouse had somewhere to buy stuffed animals and apple cider/ pies for sale. I wasn't impressed with the hot apple cider- it tasted like something I could get in the grocery store. Outside the greenhouse there were pumpkins for sale. For fall, they also have a corn maze and other activities for the kids.

The first thing I noticed was the disarray and lack of cleanliness in the store - frankly, it's a mess....which made me think twice about getting ice cream there. Nonetheless, I got a scoop of coffee. It was very tasty - I pretty much eat Haagen Dazs exclusively for both its taste and price. I can usually get a pint at Walmart for between $3-$4. This coffee ice cream had a little different coffee taste than Haagen - which I liked. However, it didn't seem as creamy, which was fine. My partner got the chocolate, which she said was average. One scoop was a little over $5, which is about average these days for your stand alone ice cream shops. While I was satisfied with the taste of my cone, I probably won't go back until they 'clean up' the store.
