This place a great time. Solid food for bar food, and the vibes are great any time there's a sporting event. It's super popular so if there's a big game on, make sure you get reservations at least 2 or more weeks in advance. Our waitress Chloe is great, always takes the best care of us, making sure we're all good even when they're absolutely packed and busy. Big shoutout to her. The owner also does his best to accommodate everyone even when it's chaos there.
I was literally driving by looking for a spot to catch the last few minutes of Argentina v Egypt, and spotted the tvs from the road. I pulled up, got a seat at the bar, and witnessed an incredible soccer match! TVs galore, I'll definitely be back to catch another match before the World Cup ends. I was torn between getting the fish tacos or the chicken Caesar wrap, but the bartender suggested the tacos. Literally, the BEST fish tacos I've ever had. Super juicy tasting fish, fresh, and the green sauce was delish! I can't wait to come back!
Stopped into Game Changer for a bite of lunch and a good tequila to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. It's a nicely appointed restaurant, with TVs covering the walls, and all manner of sports playing at all times. It was a little past prime lunch time, so there were only a few customers eating, and the staff was getting the place ready for what was surely to be a busy night (Cindo de Mayo + the Lakers in the playoffs). I ordered my glass of tequila (Don Julio Reposado), which was served neat with a fresh slice of orange, and was just what I needed. To eat, I decided on the Fried Calamari with crispy jalapeños -- and that's where things headed downhill. The calamari was seriously sub-par, disappointingly chewy even when hot right out of the kitchen, and then downright rubber-like when slightly cooled. I'm assuming this is cheap, commercial, frozen calamari, as you might get someplace that also serves Dodger Dogs as a feature attraction. Given the number of restaurants serving better food in the neighboring square mile, Game Changer needs to up their game if they're going to stay... in the game?

If you're looking for a chill spot with good food and a clean vibe, Game Changers Brewery is definitely worth checking out. I tried the wings, cauliflower wings, and the chicken burger, and everything hit. The wings had great flavor and were cooked just right, and I appreciated that the cauliflower wings weren't just an afterthought--they were actually really good. The chicken burger was solid too, juicy and satisfying without being too heavy. Service was pretty good overall, and the place itself stood out for how clean it was. You can tell they take pride in the space, which always makes the experience better. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.
This is such a good place to watch soccer. Every time I come here, good crowd, good energy, good food. What else do you need? The lamb chops were so good. And please, try that salad... I don't even remember the name. Something with avocado and falafel. I usually don't get excited about salad, but this one disappeared from my plate. Normally when I go to a sports bar, I look at the menu for 20 minutes, order beer, and that's it. Here it's different. You actually come to watch soccer and end up having a really good dinner too. I've been here several times already, and every time I leave happy. Definitely one of my favorite places to watch the game.
Stopped by in a random Wednesday for a quick diner and drinks. We got here fairly early so we had plenty of seating options. The bartender was wonderful! Got us started with our drinks and menus. We started with the fried pickles and loaded tater tots. Both of them were super good. But definitely be careful with those fried pickles. They are extremely warm. And I love pickles and I'm extremely impatient, and bite into it and burned my lip. I had the Fish and Chips, and they were good. Not your typical two pieces of fish but small ball shaped bites. I had the Royal Chocolate Stout and O.M.G was it fantastic! I'd come back just for the beer! For dessert we shared the Pecan Pie and that too was yummy. Only down side was our waitress, I understand getting busy but she had all of 3 tables including us and my second drink didn't come till after we finished our meal.
Came here for college football. It was so packed! Literally every table booked. You had to make a reservation, which was nice actually because you're guaranteed a seat. Also no cover charge which is much appreciated. We had a party of 7. They have plenty of tables but I feel like 7 or 8 would be the max party size. At least when there's a watch party situation. Service was a bit slow but that's to be expected when it was pretty much at capacity. Our server was great though. He was on it. It's very loud on game days. Also there are literally 20-something TVs which is a bit excessive. But no more craning your neck to see! Food was pretty good. I had the mezze platter. A bit salty but scrumptious nonetheless. Drinks were decently priced. I especially liked the GCB Berliner Weisse. Overall good experience! Super fun atmosphere when there's a game on! Parking is just along Ventura or surrounding streets.

This place is exciting...! Great atmosphere. Fantastic customer service by Addison The food is incredible, if you like lamb chops try them first. Fish taco were bomb Brussels sprouts are out of this world the way they are cooked with the jalapeños. This is an elevated food experience. So many TVs, you will not miss your sports programming. Parking is a little bit of a challenge, but has nothing to do with the restaurant. read more

My husband and I made a reservation at Game Changer Brewhouse to watch the Chargers playoff game and arrived early for our 5:15 p.m. reservation. Upon arrival, we were told reservations "did not matter" and were quoted a 30-45 minute wait, which turned into nearly an hour. Multiple parties who arrived after us were seated before we were. We were finally seated at 5:25 p.m. at a makeshift table on the public sidewalk, directly in front of the entrance, with folding chairs. We were told several times we would receive heaters, yet nearby tables received them while we did not- until we specifically asked someone we assumed was a manager. Service was extremely slow. Our server dropped off empty water glasses and took over 10 minutes to return with water. We ordered 2 rounds of drinks, a starter, and entrées at the same time, but it took over 20 minutes just to receive our drinks, and tables seated after us were served before us. Our entrees arrived before our starter. Even after a reminder, the appetizer arrived about 20 minutes later. The crispy cauliflower was dry, greasy, and had an off putting fishy taste, so we sent it back. Both our water and beer glasses were visibly dirty. Throughout the evening, we overheard management comping food and drinks for other tables due to similar issues. Overall, between the disregard for reservations, poor seating, slow service, food quality issues, and cleanliness concerns, this was a very disappointing experience. read more
First time ever visiting this location, kept seeing it on TikTok and decided to stop in for some quick lunch and a drink. We were so happy we were able to get in because of all the World Cup games, but it was pretty slow with the time of our arrival. I had the hazy IPA and my wife had the chocolate stout and both were delicious. We also had a vegetarian flatbread I believe is what it's called with the rose of garlic yogurt onion it was amazing and then the GCB burger all I gotta say is that mint salsa Verde was fire and you must order their ranch. Our server. Mateo was super sweet, super nice knowledgeable and very accommodating to us. We cannot wait to come back and only ask for his section. Sorry to the other servers that were there first impressions are everything to us and we just were so happy and thankful to be paired with him on our first time thank you so much Mateo for a great experience. We will definitely be back and hats off to the chef cannot wait to try more food. read more

Nice people, food is around $20 all around, happy hour is only on drinks. Got your tried and true men with with caps, darker clothing, and j Lo type women inside if that's your thing. But 5 stars for it being loaded inside with women and customer service bartenders read more

I highly recommend Game Changers Brewhouse to anyone out to have good food and drinks and especially if you are coming to watch a sporting event! I have been here to watch many NBA games and UFC events and the amount of tv's is great and the vibes are great! One thing I like is that although it does function as a sports bar aesthetic feels more like a cool dinner/bar spot! Highly recommend and ask for Trystin our amazing server! read more

I really wanted to like this place after seeing all the hype on social media, but unfortunately our experience at Game Changer was incredibly disappointing. We made a 4:00 p.m. reservation on Saturday, June 27th to watch the Colombia vs. Portugal game at 4:30. We checked in right at 4:00 and were told to wait. We checked back around 4:10 and were told the same thing. This continued for about 40 minutes before we were finally seated. While we were waiting, my boyfriend asked the general manager if he could help us figure out the seating situation. Instead of looking into it, he just directed him back to the hostess. The hostess later told us that people without reservations had taken our table and they weren't allowed to ask them to move. So what's the point of making a reservation if anyone can just take your table? After finally being seated, the hostess apologized and told us our first round of drinks would be on the house because of the wait. We appreciated the gesture, ordered our drinks and food, and moved on. The food itself was underwhelming. Even the fried pickle appetizer only came with six pieces, and nothing we ordered really stood out. When the bill came, our drinks were still on it. We politely mentioned what the hostess had told us, but the waitress came back saying the general manager would only offer a small discount because they "didn't know why the hostess said that." The lack of communication between the hostess, waitress, and management was frustrating and unprofessional. When the general manager finally came over, he was dismissive, standoffish, and barely even looked at me while I was explaining the situation. We weren't asking for anything extra, we were simply asking the restaurant to honor what they had promised us after keeping us waiting 40 minutes past our reservation. Then, to make things even more awkward, our waitress said she was going to get security. Security for what? We weren't yelling, refusing to pay, or causing a scene. We were simply trying to understand why they weren't honoring what we had been told. What made the experience even more disappointing is that I'd seen videos on social media of the general manager happily pouring drinks for influencers (picture of said video is attached). Whether that's part of their marketing or not, it definitely didn't reflect the experience we had as paying customers. Overall, this place just isn't worth the hype. Reservations don't seem to mean much, the service was disorganized, the management was unprofessional, and the food was mediocre. There are plenty of better sports bars in LA with much better customer service. I won't be coming back. read more
TLDR: 4/5 - A great sports bar place, with some gastropub level food and good service. Ordered: Steak Frites - 4.5/5 Honestly for a sports bar was kinda blown away! Despite wanting a tab bit more seasoning salt on the chips, the steak was actually cooked to my desired medium rare (which truly never happens despite all attempts) and was sizable at that. For context, I asked the server about the portions and she was right! Service: 5/5 I did make a last minute reservation earlier that day for 2 at 6P during college football season to which when I got there the hostess looked a little stress at the options. I'm not sure if it was because of the general vibes or concerned there wasn't a table for us but alas we secured a good spot. Our server was super nice and attentive! I forgot her name! She was amazing though and I really appreciated her hospitality and honesty. Ambiance: 4/5 The noise level is expected to be loud at a sports bar. With that said just know that the noise level here is high perhaps because the space is a little small. However, I did appreciate that you could see whatever you wanted to watch at every possible angle you were sitting. A huge plus! The screens varied between projectors and flat screen. Parking: This is ventura so you'll only be able to get street parking. Its not as busy as other pockets of the blvd so I don't think its as much as an issue. read more

Out here for the 2026 Champions League final. Walked in to a ton of great energy, definitely the spot in the Valley to watch footy It was busy during halftime but Anthony and staff hooked me and a few others up with extra seating. Ordered a pint and a flight, and had my friend duck outta the sun and join me here for brunch. Met a bloke from UK and his son (big tottenham guys. Kid might be a new Cole Palmer tho). surprised there are a lot of reviews that praise the food here b/c our group's experience was pretty underwhelming... we ordered the fried pickles, tater tots, calamari, and game changer wings platter. $12 for the fried pickles and all we got were maybe 8 measly slices (picture). tater tots and calamari were fine, but i've definitely been to other places where the serving sized actually matched the $20 price point. wings platter flavors were fine as well but again $50 for 18x wings... overall the food is what lost the stars for me service, drinks, and ambience of the place were actually really nice! our waiter was attentive despite how busy it was. and then so many tvs, we came for the love island watch party and had a great time. we'd definitely come back for the watch party again but maybe after having a meal elsewhere lol read more

Always wanted to try this spot out - made reservations for the dodgers World Series game 2. We were a group of 3, and our reservations were to sit at the bar?(idk what the point was in making them lol). Anyway - the bartender Jenna was THHHEEEE BEST!! The whole staff was but she went above and beyond. I got the chop salad - it was super great but I feel everything was super overpriced food wise. The vibes were great tho - good people and location. Will be back for just drinks probably. Parking: there is meter street parking and some in the side street but be careful cause some were by permit only! read more

Awesome new-ish brewery and grub spot. I had their Yumi Japanese Rice Lager and the Baja Lager... both were delicious for their respective styles. The food was excellent and the beer non-beer drinkers in the group enjoyed the margarita flight! Overall, great spot that deserves a try. read more

The beer selection was --tons of variety whether you're into IPAs, stouts, or something lighter. You can tell they actually care about the quality and flavor of what they're brewing. The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. Super laid-back, great energy, and the kind of spot you can hang out for hours. Whether you're with friends or just grabbing a drink solo, it feels welcoming and not pretentious at all. Staff was top-tier too-friendly, knowledgeable, and gave solid recommendations without trying to upsell anything. Big plus. Also loved the setup--plenty of space, good music, and just an overall vibe that makes you want to come back. Definitely going to be a regular spot for me. Highly recommend if you're looking for good beer and a chill environment. read more
Decided today was the day to try on a new sports bar and I knew I'd need to expand my radius from home, so I made the drive and and soon as I tried to find parking on Ventura Boulevard, I remembered why I hated shopping along Ventura Boulevard. Found parking down the street a way, but only about a :5 walk. I was definitely late for kick-off, but since the pandemic sports bars haven't been too packed, but when I walked up, I could tell the place was completely packed, but they were able to find me one little spot at the bar, which is where I was hoping to sit anyway. As I was waiting, I was checking out the vaulted architecture of the brickwork inside, and it gave the brewhouse a very nice ambience and visual beauty. They do pack the tables and people into this spot, so watch your step as you wind through the aisles. They were definitely busy, but I sat at the bar for a good :15 minutes before anybody even looked my way. Their menu is definitely curated for the local population, so you won't find some typical sports bar fare on the menu, and we'll see something that you don't think of when you think about sports bars; however, the Berger I had was very good and everything I saw being served looked excellent. Also, it was packed when I went in and I left about halftime at the first game, and quickly noticed that a lot of the tables had plenty of space at them, so I'm not sure if most people don't spend an entire game there or not. It's definitely not local for me, but I would definitely come back because the place had a really good sports camaraderie scene, good food, and (eventually) attentive staff. read more

Game changer is a sleeper bar on Ventura blvd w an excellent beer selection and a pretty diverse food selection as well:) it's a cute lil sports bar but plenty of seating & very clean inside . even tho we came an hour before closing on a Sunday night, our server Mateo made sure we had an excellent experience. We got the Sherman oaks ipa and hazy for drinks. Both were great :) food wise we shared a fish& chips w the honey harissa wings! I wasn't expecting much but the wings were so crispy and flavorful ! Fish and chips was so soft buttery and had a fantastic lil crunch. What rly made the experience so great was Mateo's professionalism and customer service. From the way he gently let us know the kitchen was doing last call to his check ins and friendliness , I rly appreciated the service! Will def be back regularly to try their other beers and say hi to my new friend Mateo :) read more

My boyfriend and I went here for an eagle game & we absolutely enjoyed this place. The real sports bar experience, I love the vibes when it's game day. Everyone is in different jerseys rooting on their teams. Food was amazing I enjoyed my burritos. Potatoes were soft & bacon was crunchy. Over all had a good flavor , I loved the mimosas with the different purées they had like strawberry & peach. The service here was great, server made sure we were good the entire time. My boyfriend enjoyed the beer flight so much. We will definitely be coming back to this spot. read more
