Family and friends love to watch the game, eat good food and play some darts. The service is quick and drinks are cheap! Overall great vibe!

Regular sports bar. We easily found a seat & were able to get our game on the nearby tv. Waitress was friendly & kept our drinks full. My side salad was big & had several toppings. The honey chicken flatbread pizza was tasty! Hubby's prime rib sandwich was good, too. He thought the onion rings were too seasoned. The fries were really good! Kids mac & cheese was gobbled up. My girlfriend and I love this place! Darts are our usual date night and the Observatory Bar and Grill has 7 of them! After our fun evening we thought we left our darts there and gave them a call. The lady was super sweet and was willing to go to any measure to help track them down. She even gave me her phone number to make sure our darts would be found. Turns out they were hiding in our car. Overall a decent experience. Seat yourself upon entrance but there's no sign that tells you that so it took us a second to figure out. It was super loud and made it hard for us to communicate with our server so a couple of "mistakes" were made. Not a huge deal, just slight annoyances. Bottle instead of draw/my husband couldn't hear what she said when she asked if he wanted another. Food wise..The nachos were pretty large, more for a group size. We intended for the nachos to be an appetizer and they only came out 1 minute before the rest of our food. The burger was really good, definitely tasted fresh. The onion rings were breaded with that sweet kind of breading, not my fave but not bad. The pizza was "okay" but we were glad we added some veggies to give it a little more depth. Great Burgers! Basic sports bar but the burger rocks! Service was quick and efficient. I'll stop here again.

The absolute worst customer service experience that I have ever had. My husband and I sat at our table for over 10 minutes while waitresses walk by us over and over again. When they were not waiting on anyone they stood on the side of the bar and talked. I would say the bar was about half full and there were at least three waitresses and two bartenders My husband had to order drinks at the bar finally at which point I assumed we would be served but that was not the case. There again we waited so long that I finally asked a waitress if there was any way we could order food, she told us that she was off but would have someone come over to take our order. That didn't happen so again, we had to order food at the bar. That same waitress who told us that she wasn't working continued to take orders and serve other customers for almost the whole time we were there. It didn't get any better so as soon as we found a place at the bar we moved. One of the bartenders was so kind and apologized. She also gave us a discount on our total bill which we did not ask for. It's really too bad, we had been there a couple times previously and liked the food but now we will never be back. We go to a sports bar every Friday and tip very well. We have been to OB off 144th and Center before, but now days it seems like you have less people working for an honest dollar and those that do are run ragged by others who are unkind or simply don't care to understand just how hard it is to work in the service industry. So I thought I would take a moment and share my experience last night. I called OB, to give them a heads up a large group of us were coming in last night, the service and food were absolutely amazing! I had spoken with Sherry (manager? owner? I should have made a point to find out), she was concerned that they wouldn't have the staff to accommodate us. Sherry made a point to call me back to confirm that everything was coordinated as far as staff, food and space that we could use to all be together. I pre-ordered some appetizers to come out at specific times and a cheese party pizza. What I ordered is just your basic bar and grill food, however I saw other food coming out of the kitchen that I will be going back to try. So many options. The food Mozzarella Sticks (perfectly cooked), Onion Rings (seasoned deliciously), we ordered a large shredded chicken nacho that was huge and had so many flavors going on. The Soft Pretzels with a spicy cheese dip (I would dip about anything in that cheese dip, it was soooo good) then the cheese pizza. It was crispy but not burnt, perfectly portioned sauce, cheese ratio. Everything was sent out right when I had asked and fresh. Whoever was cooking last night, excellent job. Jackie was our server, she was exceptional! Not only was she working our group she was helping other patrons as well. Jackie is an absolute rock star, she could be across the room and notice a drink near empty or someone looking around and she was right there checking on us. They have a great variety of food and drink and a great crew working the floor and behind the scenes. 100% go in and check them out. As always remember to be kind and try something new. read more

In the bar last Sunday. All employees masked and observed a lot of sanitizing - felt safe. We truly enjoyed our waitress, Angie's, sense of humor and attention to detail. We are visiting Omaha for the first time. We searched for locally owned bar and grills and found the Observatory Bar and Grill. It had 4 stars and we thought let's give it a try. To be honest my first impression wasn't awesome. No one spoke to us as we entered. There wasn't a sign saying "wait to be seated" or "seat yourself". We decided to seat ourselves. It was about 5 minutes before being served but from that point on it was a great experience. The Server was friendly, she knew the menu, how the dishes were prepared and followed up with us often. We had the fried tacos and they were really good. It comes with tortilla chips, salsa, sour cream and queso. It was very good. I mean really good!! The owner stopped by to check on us and thanked us for coming in. We had a delightful chat. Both my husband and I would recommend this bar and grill!! read more

Local. Nice place. Been once. Went in on tues for dinner and a beer. Happened to be taco tues. had (2) beef (1) chicken. $2 each. Good tacos. Fried floor shell. I'll visit again. I went here because of the reviews. Wow were they misleading. Dirty. Poor menu. I am from out of town and went to watch the NCAA tournament. The TV's were on Fox News, NatGeo and some informercial. ( mind you this is one of the top 10 sports weekends of the year) The bartender ( the only employee ) could not figure out how to change the channels. I left my beer and headed to BW's. Walked in and thought, this will be good. It was busy, so people must like it. We went to the back tables and sat down (crowded in the front). No one ever came over to great us. I'm not sure if they don't serve those tables or they didn't want to serve us because we had two kids. It was a Friday at 6pm. I noticed the table next to use had gotten food at one point, but hadn't been served for some time either.
