AC's AutoTech is located off of Huntington Drive, right next door to Route 66 Car Wash. The owner, AC, ended up purchasing Brian's Auto and renamed it. I was looking to do an oil change and also to have my car oil filter changed. My mom suggested that I come here since we used to come to Brian's Auto all the time for car repairs. I came this past Monday, around 8:15 am. After I pulled my car in and parked, I was greeted by AC. After telling him what I was here for, he asked me if I was going to wait here for my car and I said I was. I just ended up sitting in the waiting room (I brought a book to read), which was a nice area. AC did take out my air filter and cabin filter to show me how dirty it was and asked if I wanted him to replace it. I ended up declining the offer (because my husband ended up doing this for me. We also ended up going to the dealership to purchase a cabin filter and also purchased the air filter on Amazon). Anyway, in a little less than 1 hour, I had my oil change done and oil filter replaced. The cost was going to be either $76 via credit card, but not including a 3% transaction fee or $70 cash. I ended up paying cash. The price itself is okay but maybe a little on the higher side, as compared to perhaps another auto shop but definitely much cheaper than going to the dealer. Overall, I think the service was friendly and quick. I would most likely come back to AC again in the future. read more

I've taken two cars for service at this location one for an engine light and the other for a used car purchase assessment service. It is under new ownership and as of now I am well please with the service and cost. The mechanics which do the work remained with the new ownership which I find comforting. The mechanics were able to assess my engine light and discovered the tension pulley for the timing belt was loose. A service which I got at a dealership (disappointing). read more

My air conditioner went bad, I swung in and AC greeted me and asked what I needed. Explained the situation he explained what it could be. I mentioned while I was there could he do an oil change as well. He said let me have the Jeep for a few hours and I'll give you a diagnosis on the AC. Called me told me the problem and the price to repair. Two hours later I had my Jeep back and AC all good and an oil change. All same day service no appointment. Stellar place! read more

I was a HUGE fan of Brian's! Brian was honest, Brian was hard working, and Brian always did work you could trust. I was surprised when I went to call him and heard "AC's Auto Tech", I thought I had misdialed - I even redialed in disbelief. But after speaking for a few minutes with AC, I felt a certain ease... he was friendly, he was knowledgeable, and I felt like he knew what he was talking about and wasn't using that to be patronizing or vague. I needed my headlight (just the bulb) replaced on my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe - an absolutely ridiculous feat. This was an easy fix in every car I have ever owned, but not this one - the location is extremely difficult and the dealership from which I purchased the car replaced it by removing the entire front end to remove the whole headlight assembly. From the dealer, a single bulb costs $440 and of course the dealership will only install parts from their parts department. I called AC and he was aware of the difficulty with the Hyundai headlights, and offered to do the job for less if I was able to bring in a bulb. I was able to find one at Autozone (I understand they are even less on Amazon, but AC warned their quality is really bad) and I headed to the shop. AC approached the car as I pulled in and was very friendly from the offset. He made quick work of it, finishing up in about 30 minutes. At one point, when he got the bulb out, I told him I was so excited I could hug him - and he responded with a hug! He seems like a real cool guy, unafraid to work on a difficult project, and knowledgeable when it comes to cars. He took care of me, and I appreciate it, and I will be back. read more
