My girlfriend's check engine light came on and we were recommended this place by a friend. I'm always skeptical of auto repair shops because of the horror stories and potential scams, but Hong was a professional who immediately diagnosed what the issue was and even removed the issue. I was expecting some high bill, but he didn't charge us and even told us to come back if the light came back or any other issues arose. Overall, 5/5 would come to again! read more

This is a great place to get your oil change and other auto repairs done. I had a ton of questions and the manager (Hong) really took the time to answer and explain everything to me. I really appreciate the attentiveness to my problems and the customer service is great. The oil change took around 15 minutes and I was on my way. Overall, I had a great experience here and would definitely recommend Hong to any of my friends and family. read more

Our family has actually been going here for YEARS... All our cars are owned so we try to keep as good care of it as possible but wear and tear does happen so we take it here. They're a little shop on a main road and you can miss it if you're not looking too closely. They do our brakes, oil changes, weird noises, clanking, and engine stuff. They know their cats and they're good at what they do. Evidence: My little 1994 Honda Civic is still running SUPERBLY :D. Plus, from experience, their prices are really fair too.. especially after I thought I'd get a quote from my dealer. Now that was crazy. I'd totally recommend them. OOh! They're not that far from Costco either. So maybe drop of your car, catch a ride with a friend and go try out some food samples at Costco. read more

My family and I have been going to this mechanic as far as I can remember! Hong (the mechanic) use to work in Baldwin Park area but has moved north to Azusa for almost 20 years now. He's very knowledgeable in ALL car make and models. You will definitely get the "mom and pop" vibe coming here. I highly recommend coming here whenever your car has troubles, whether it be a minor or major problem. Prices are decent as well! As good as it gets! Affordable, honest, and good quality repairs here! You get a great car running after they're done servicing it. Don't expect your car to be spotless from other problems if you are only getting one thing fixed when you have more issues. They will totally fix your problems that you pay for, maybe give you a few freebies too--which is pretty nice and generous. But if your car really has a lot of problems, you should schedule several appts and get the car fixed here... ALSO, something atypical but COOL...there's a chocolate labrador at the shop! I stopped by one day to get my car worked on. I found a friendly and happy dog waiting to be played with. Don't forget your dog treats when you visit! read more

First and foremost, the customer service I received from start to finish was second to none. The moment I walked in, I was instantly greeted and welcomed for visiting the shop. I explained to the sales rep that my tire sensors were not functioning and, as a result, I was unable to verify when my tires needed air. I also wanted to have my tires inspected because I noticed extensive wear on all four. The sales rep advised me to give him a couple of minutes and that he would be right with me, and left the office. I waited at the counter for four minutes when the sales rep returned and advised me, "Yes, you are definitely going to need four new tires." What! He inspected my tires? How did he know what I drove?? The sales rep mentioned that I came in two months before having my tires properly inflated, and he remembered that I drove a grey-colored pickup. UNBELIEVABLE memory! Wow, I was truly impressed, as I was not the only customer in the shop, and there were other pickups parked in the lot. I was quoted a fair price for a set of new tires, as I had received quotes from three other tire shops, and this shop beat them all by a wide margin. I was also quoted $35.00 per sensor, the lowest price I found, and $20.00 less than any other shop for a wheel alignment. I was extremely happy with the quote for the entire package and decided to have all the work and new tires installed in this shop. I was advised that it would take three to four hours to complete all the work, which I happily agreed to. I left the shop and went home. Two and a half hours later, I received a text message stating that my truck was ready for pickup, as all the work had been completed. I could not believe the lightning-fast service I had received. Within ten minutes, I was on the ship picking up my truck with new tires, and I was extremely satisfied. I truly wish to thank the entire staff for being so welcoming, friendly, and professional, and for the great customer service. On this day, I became a loyal customer.

FYI - if you're female, this shop will try to upcharge you…read more My husband called ahead to see the price of replacing 2 front tires on his car. We were informed that if the back tires are run flats, then the front ones need to be as well. Sure. My husband told him that the back ones had been replaced recently somewhere else and were definitely NOT run flats, so let's get 2 regular tires for the front. We were quoted $110 each for a regular tire. When I went to drop off the car, Jerry stepped out to look at the tires. He told me that because the back ones were run flats (not true), the new front ones should also be run flats. Oh, and run flat tires are $239 each, conveniently more than double the regular tires. This sort of scam might work in the days where Google doesn't exist or phone calls to the original shop can't be made (Google does exist, and a quick call to our original shop confirmed we had regular tires). Or maybe they thought I couldn't do simple math because of my weaker brain. The whole situation seemed very suspect so I left. My husband called Jerry afterwards and he started backtracking, saying that he told me the front tires are the run flats and we could put on regular tires if we REALLY wanted to. 1. Jerry, you were referring to the back ones the entire time to me 2. If you did not intend to, then you were providing irrelevant information in an attempt to confuse and upcharge me, since it's only the back ones that will be staying on and therefore the only ones that matter in this decision making. By the way, even if you did think that women are dumb - you do know that we talk to our husbands right? And they listen to us? So if I say this store does not treat female customers in an equitable manner and we should not go back, it means that we will not be going back? We already got the tires replaced somewhere else and not once did the other place mention anything about run flats. Thanks for wasting my time.

My appointment was for 9:15 this morning, but I actually got there a little earlier and was greeted right away by Eddie. He checked me in, took my information, and got everything set up.
