My emails have been left unanswered, texts have been left unresponded to, and the mailbox for every number for the office I have tried is full and hasn't been cleared for months. To start, I had a great experience until January of 2022, but afterwards, my experience with Got Your Back has been an absolute nightmare. While I paid up front for a 12-session treatment plan, I only received 8 treatment sessions before the office closed with the promise that Dr Klein would be in touch. Months have passed and I received no call from him. To add insult to injury, the office has sent repeated invoices for the treatment I already paid for despite me speaking with the billing office two months ago and them telling me to not worry and that it was simply a clerical error that they would be sorting out. Fast forward to this week, when they sent me a letter saying that I was delinquent on payments and they would transfer my (already paid) balance to a debt collection agency. They have been consistently unresponsive and unprofessional through this whole ordeal. I have received no offer of refund or completion of treatment plan, and instead been hounded for payment which was already processed months ago. Overall, it is a shame that GYBTH has come to this because the care was truly great beforehand. I only hope that this finally gets the attention of the office and catalyzes action. I chose Washington Spine and Disc because of my insurance and the location. The office was easy to find and the staff was very pleasant. Dr. Giaten was also very nice and really thorough. I didn't know what to expect during the appointment, but he walked me through everything. He did a detailed exam of my spine, explained all of his findings, and then recommended a course of action. I had a therapy session first to loosen my shoulder, back, and neck muscles then he performed the adjustment. The adjustment is uncomfortable and I was sore afterwards, but the next day I felt great. I plan to continue going for adjustments and I highly recommend this practice.

This has turned into a serious and ongoing medical situation involving chronic pain, headaches, extensive testing, doctor visits, and significant financial cost. The pain began within a day after my visit. My doctors have described the tear as traumatic/mechanical in nature. They explained that vertebral artery dissection is a known risk associated with high-velocity neck manipulation, although they also said there is no way to determine the exact cause with certainty. Months later the dissection has progressed to moderate to severe, and I am still dealing with the consequences. From my perspective, the high-velocity neck adjustments recommended here were not worth the risk. I was hesitant about neck manipulation initially, but I felt there was pressure to proceed with it. After the adjustment I experienced unusual neck pain similar to what I had felt after prior adjustments, though this time it became significantly worse the following day when my neck cracked during a gentle stretch at home. That worsening pain ultimately led to medical evaluation and the diagnosis. Because of how serious and prolonged this experience has been, I strongly encourage anyone considering neck manipulation to carefully research the potential risks and make an informed decision before proceeding. This review reflects only my personal experience, but the outcome for me has been life-altering.

Previous PT providers have not taken into consideration how weak I am and push me beyond my capacity to perform. I decided to call in advance and ask the manager if he felt he could work with me given the problems I have had. He called me back the same day after the clinic was closed and spent at least 20 minutes listening and talking to me. He assured me he could adapt their normal work for me. I had my appointments with the Manager of both locations, Chris. He has progressed me very slowly and in three months, I never been hurt. Our appointments address several regions of my body and I am delighted to report that I have improved in my time there. It is not unusual to see him give instructions to one person while checking on another. He's a hands-on manager and it seems the place runs smoothly.
