My husband and I visited several places before choosing to settle with Dr. Noguchi. We chose this place for one main reason: Dr. Noguchi knows what he's doing. Beginning procedures at Dr. Noguchi's for INVISALIGN treatment: 1. Consultation: FREE of charge. All the places we went to offered free consultations, but Dr. Noguchi was the most thorough in terms of examining our teeth, explaining the issues with our teeth and the type of treatment/teeth movement needed, and introducing the Invisalign treatment. (Move onto step2 if you'd like to start your treatment, or if you want a more detailed treatment plan before starting) 2. Diagnostic Records: $340 (cephalometric X-ray, diagnostic casts, and panoramic x-ray). This is basically getting a molding of your teeth, but instead of using the gooey material, everything will be done through an x-Ray. Most doctors will send you to a special location that has this x-Ray system, but Noguchi Orthodontics has their own! Very convenient. 3. Case Presentation: Dr. Noguchi will send your diagnostic records to the Invisalign company and give you a call once they receive a 3-D video of their designed treatment and results. This typically takes about a week! Once you approve the treatment and sign the contract, they will put in the order for your liners. 4. Begin Treatment: You'll receive your first liners in approximately 2 weeks after you approve the case presentation. ** Don't hesitate to give them a call for consultation! I originally went into the office because Dr. Noguchi and some staff speak Japanese and I wanted that in case my mother had to take my children. Although Dr. Noguchi's fees were just very slightly more than another orthodontist, I chose Dr. Noguchi because of the wonderful atmosphere, and friendly customer service, as well as the testimonials I read from other patients. The other orthodontist took a while to return my call, while Dr. Noguchi's staff is always prompt. I love the incentives they give my daughter by giving her wooden coins to collect for a prize at the end of her treatment. The office is so clean and modern. They offer cute cups of tea or coffee at each visit. My daughter has not complained about excessive pain, and the treatment takes the determined time needed to make it right. I found Dr. Noguchi through Yelp. I was looking for a place that's a decent distance from Carson and my main concern would be the operating hours due to both my husband an I working full time. Dr. Noguchi's office is open late on Tuesdays so that's definitely a plus for me. My kids are not extremely afraid of the dentist since they regularly see them and I never threaten them with shots when they act up but it takes a lot to impress them. I pay extra for PPO insurance to take them to Remolina Dental in Lomita because they are comfortable with her and they never give me a hard time whenever they have to go for their 6 months check up. When the kids got there they were both pretty cranky since it was after 6pm on a Tuesday however when they walked in they both lit up when they saw the aquarium & the prize box. They give the kids a card where they can load up point for the kids to redeem. The kids did extremely well during their consultation because they liked the employees there. Dr Noguchi took the time to really sit down with us to discuss the course of treatment and the cost. The cost seems a bit more than the other Orthos that I've taken my kids to. At this time we have not started treatment since I'm still trying to decide due to the cost of 2 kids but I surely hope that I can take my kids here. read more

About 2 years ago I found Dr. Noguchi through a advertisement mailer I received in the mail. I wanted to find a different Orthodontist after having a bad experience with the one our pediatric dentist recommended for my son. I made a call to Dr. Noguchi's office and never looked back. My husband and I as well as my son have never been so satisfied!! Dr. Noguchi is knowledgeable, informative and kind. His office staff is the best staff I have ever encountered!!! They are always so friendly, happy, helpful,professional and pleasant. My son is finished with his Invisalign treatment now. I'm gonna miss coming here!! Dr. Noguchi is such a great orthodontist. We have been seeing him for the last few months and he has already fixed major issues with my son's teeth. The treatment has been pretty painless for my son. He has autism and I was not sure how he would react with braces in his mouth. He enjoys going to the office due to the the positive experience we have in each visit. We love his staff who are so nice and treat us like family. They are all so friendly and professional at the same time. I've been here for over a year and every visit has been such a pleasant experience! Originally I was looking for a clinic which has invisalign treatment and found Dr Noguchi. Dr Noguchi and staff are always very helpful and friendly. They give a very "welcoming" feeling and I have never experienced anything negative. Sometimes when you go to clinics or hospitals, you have a bad experience with receptionists or just by calling. At this clinic, all of the receptionists are great in person or on the phone. I really hope other clinics can see how they do and learn from their great customer service. Of course the treatment itself is professional. Just finished my Invisalign with Dr. Noguchi and am very pleased. I chose his practice because of good reviews, because he said I could do Invisalign, because my sister (who is a hygienist) said the price was fair, because my dental insurance would apply for a discount, and it was a bonus that the office is very close to where I live (I could walk to appointments). It is clear that Dr Noguchi has high standards, is a total pro and his office is so well kept. All of the staff were such sweethearts, I completely enjoyed visiting and feeling cared for by them. I was disappointed that I was going to have to do a refinement (extra sets of trays) to get where we wanted my teeth to go, but it was needed. Covid closed everything down after we'd gotten the imaging done to create my new trays. The staff was wonderful to mail the trays to me. However, because of that, we weren't able to affix the recommended attachments and I wasn't able to go into the office for progress reports. I feel that maybe my outcome would have been a bit better but when I was able to go back in for review by Dr. Noguchi, the office was very clean and they were careful with Covid protocol. We both agreed it was well enough to avoid doing another round of refinements. He did recommend that I get a bonded bottom retainer which wasn't something I was familiar with and isn't my favorite thing, but it will keep my teeth from shifting again which I do want. He did some final polishing and my teeth are looking great. I am very thankful that as an adult I now have straight teeth which is better for my dental health! I went to 3 other orthodontists, before deciding on Dr. Noguchi. Hands down, the most intelligent, confidence inspiring orthodontist. One of the other guys just tried to sell me Invisalign, but Dr. Noguchi looked at my kid and explained why that wouldn't work, and offered a better, yet less expensive solution. They have kid-friendly incentives, but not like an iPad, which I know I was paying $1000 for anyway, at a more expensive Ortho. My kids also like him; he is a very friendly person, as is everyone in the office. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an orthodontist. Update: Just finished our 2nd kid with Dr. Noguchi. The office is lovely and they are always on time. Tuesdays they stay late, which helps us. I recently finished my treatment. My case was a bit complicated, but Dr. Noguchi was willing to try his best to get the best result as possible. It took a little bit over 3 years, but I'm glad I decided to do it. I like the result. Yes, it's a subtle change (for other people,) but it's a huge change for me. It was definitely a long process, but all the staff at the office is great, and I can tell that they really make an effort for their patients to feel comfortable through their treatment, so every office visit was very pleasant for me. It was my first time trying invisalign so I found one in "top tier" on Invisalign website. It turned out the ranking is purely based on years of experience, nothing to do with skills. And based on my personal experience and my friends' experience with their doc, there is really NO difference between top and other tiers because it's all technology. No much personal skills are involved and most of appointments you go back and check are taken care of by technicians instead of the doctor. And not all the technicians are professional from my personal experience either. So really no point to pay $2000 more for no much more value added. The doctor talks the most when it comes to money such as the time before you sign the contract and the last time when he tries to sell you non-complimentary retainer. He always makes you wait for the rare times he had to check on you. what's the point for me to make appointment in advance then? I have a job too. REPLYING TO DR'S COMMENTS: no one uses their legal or full name in social media so it's not surprising you cannot locate me. There is no point for me to lie about it. I am not trying to ask for anything back either. What's done is done. But this reminds me that I forgot to mention the final affect was just alright. Teeth definitely have shifted but not the best. Therefore it's really about technology and you can pay to do another scan and continue treatment for another session. Most of the places charge scan like here and further treatment is free. The purpose of my review is just to also give the people like me when they try invisalign the first time, if they wonder if it worths to go with a more expensive / more "top" tier invisalign orthodontist, my advise would be NO. read more

Dr. Noguchi has been the orthodontist in charge of my daughter's teeth for several years now and we could not be more satisfied with his work. Within a matter of months it was clear that the braces were doing their work well and her teeth straightening up nicely. Any discomfort my daughter felt when having her braces adjusted subsided in a very short period of time. Today she had her braces taken off and she got out of the patient chair to reveal an amazing smile. The entire staff came to see us off and present us with a gift. I was a patient here about two years ago, and I never got to review this place! This is literally the cleanest office I've ever been to and Dr. Noguchi and his staff are so polite. If you are looking for condescending short snake of a dentist, Brian Noguchi is your men. He will upsell you treatments you don't need, even when he knows the treatment will damage your teeth. He is Waste of time! I went to smile by design for inveslain. My first experience with Mr Noguchi was him being nice and him being in full salesman mode. He keeps saying "not a problem, I can do that". I even double stated on what I wanted done with the same reply" yes, yes I can do that". After this understanding I made my down payment and waited a month to have sat down with him for treatment planning. After month of waiting instead of having sat down discussion with Mr Noguchi I was met by a dental assistant who can't answer any question I asked. I was informed to ask Noguchi if I have any questions at the front desk. My simple question was about the final look of the treatment, but Mr noguchi being a prick didn't even look up when he gave me wrong info and dismissed me. He was sitting with his side to me and looking at his laptop. I am not joking ,he was shopping for gold watch online and making childish comments with the front desk lady, while I am trying to speak to him. I contacted Invisalign HQ trying to get the info I need, but was told my doctor was supposed to provide me with clincheck and plane my treatment with me. After back and forth email with sales manager I was given the clincheck, after Mr nogushit told me there is no such a thing as clincheck. The feeling I had was conformed with the clincheck and Mr Nogushit was not holding up to our agreement. I came for one thing and i was shown, it is not going to be done. Not only that, he is going to make my condition worse by the end of treatment. I set up an appointment to clarify what is happening with Mr Nogushit. Now imagine this, when I arrived, I was led to back office and sat down on a small chair. About 5ft Mr Nogushit with his hand in his pocket and sales manager are standing above me, without any formality he said "what do you want?" Very politely, I tried to explain to him the final out came is unacceptable. He keeps cutting me off and keep telling me I don't have options. He keep telling me I can only do this option which will make my condition worse or another one which will give me new worse condition with a jaw problem. I tried to explain to him how he is not honoring our agreement and how I should have been provided with this info on our first meeting before payment was made. I am not in the dental field, but i am highly educated. I knew in a fact that i have options and he was not following dental guidelines. I could not believe the way this short guy was acting and talking down to me. This should have been simple, but his greed and condescending attitude wasted two months of my time.
