Amazing dentists (and I am picky!) I just finished my Invisalign treatment here and my teeth look great. I was clenching and gritting at night and everyone in the office has been incredibly detail oriented and receptive to my questions. My bite has since shifted and no longer need to get jaw Botox to compensate. The cleanings I've gotten from this office have never left me sore and bleeding like my old dentist did. The only complaint I have is that parking is rough, there's only one assigned spot for the whole office but I usually had my appointments in the morning so I typically could park in that single spot. When is comes to perfection that's what I look for in a dentist. I like hearing "it's not perfect I'm going to redo it" when it comes to a crown being molded. I do not recommend this place or Dr. Mungcal. He pretends to, yet actually knows nothing about TMJ disorder and without listening to your symptoms or showing empathy, he simply shows you some stupid website (which kept coming up as "Dawson's Creek??" of what the jaw should look like and where the pain lies, and tries to sell you Invisalign at $6k plus without investigating the actual problem or listening when you explain your symptoms or prior injuries and diagnoses. Then tries to pressure to order the things before you leave with false promises that they'll solve all your problems. Dr. Mungcal was insulting, he had no empathy for the fact that I was sitting there on the verge of tears, barely able to speak or open my mouth, desperate for some solutions to my chronic pain, jaw issues, headaches... he barely let me explain what was going on, assuming he knew better than I did, he said there was no way my jaw could be "that bad". After speaking to an actual specialist, Invisalign is the opposite of what one should do with TMJ disorder, unless you have had surgery and/or appliances to align the jaw beforehand, it could cause major damage and make the condition a lot worse as it could cement the jaw in an unnatural position. After leaving this office in tears after being so disappointed because I had actual hope this dentist could possibly help me with my chronic pain... to add insult to literal injury, I have since been harassed with phone calls claiming that one; I supposedly missed an appointment (which I would have NEVER scheduled to come back!). And, two; additional phone calls simply requesting to call them back (for no reason mentioned)...?? Are they that hard up for business? I want nothing to do with this office or dentist ever again and I'm mad at myself for even wasting the $2.50 on parking to be insulted and offended by someone who claims to know anything about a chronic disease I've been dealing with for 20 plus years and downplay my knowledge of my condition as I have spent years researching it to find some type of relief. I luckily found someone after this horrible experience to help me, thank God. read more

This place has been harassing me for months. Made an appointment a few months ago when I needed to a new dentist. Ended up going with a different practice on a friends recommendation instead, and told them this. They harassed me daily with phone calls and voicemails for weeks, so I blocked their number. They began calling weekly from a new number so I blocked that too. Now at least once a month months later they continue to call and leave me voicemails to "call them back" because "they've been trying to reach me." I have never set foot in this office and this place is hounding me like a spam caller. This is a terrible business practice and shows how desperate they must be for money and patients to harass people for months like this. Pick a less pushy dentist who doesn't operate like a spam call center. read more

My daughter had a crown put on from her new dentist at UCI. She started getting pain so took her back. He saw nothing. The pain was excruciating and she was in agony. I took her to urgent care twice. MD said to go back to dentist. He Refered me to take her to his tmj contact. They were closed. I started looking for a tmj specialist and called the office for a free consultation. Words cannot begin to tell you how kind, compassionate Kim from the front office was and anxious to get her in to find the problem to relieve her pain. She saw the dentist who said her tooth needed a root canal and that her new crown put only a few weeks ago by the original dentist was cracked! How the original dentist not see this is shocking to me. She did not have tmj. My daughter suffered for days until she came to this office. This dentist and staff are healers and don't treat you like a business but as a fellow human being. I will be forever grateful to the dentist and their staff. read more
