I have used Discount Tire of Knightdale for at least the last 6 or 7 years for over 7 vehicles. They have always been reasonably priced (till no one and nothing has been since early 2022) and excellent customer service. With appointment quick or as walk in always been willing to fit me in. Naturally a bit of a wait at very busy times. Love they only do tires, some rims, and natural tire accessories such as TPS. No Alignments, brakes... Always get the road warranty. Never any argument as to why a tire needs repair or replacement. And mine have always still been covered under warranty. My only cost being the road certificate fee to cover the new tire if it needed replacing. One last thing, once your car goes in the bay area rest assured it will be out shortly. Not pulled in and left to sit. Lol okay two things, you can use any Discount Tire to honor your warranty.

Well....after sitting behind a vehicle for 5 minutes who wasn't waited on I got out of my car to see how long it was going to be. In the meantime the gentleman in front of me started the machine and was checking his own tires since he had not been waited on. Lo and behold someone came out of the store and said he couldn't do that. Someone would be right out to help. I stopped the Discount Tire employee and expressed my displeasure about being waited on and very rudely he said he was sorry but there were paying customers in the store who were waiting longer and they needed to get the stores attention before my tires which wasn't costing anything. Within seconds another employee came out and serviced my tires with the air. I was not ugly but I would caution anyone about using this establishment. EVERY time I go there they do not care about the line waiting to get the air checked in their tires unless you are paying. THEN DON'T HAVE THE FREE TIRE AIR CHECK IF YOU CAN'T PROVIDE THE SERVICE EXPEDITIOUSLY!!!

Unfortunately, I left without receiving service because of how I was treated by an employee who identified himself as the manager. When I entered the parking lot, one employee told me to wait while they decided which bay I should use. I moved forward slightly to let a car out behind me, and a second employee also instructed me to stop and hold on. A few minutes later, another employee inside the bay began raising his hands in frustration because I had not moved forward. I apologized and explained that I had not seen him signaling from inside the bay. Instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding, he gave me a visibly disdainful look and ignored me when I greeted him and explained that I needed an oil change. When I asked why he was treating me that way, he responded, "Why were you all the way out there and making us come out in the hot sun?" I explained that two of his coworkers had specifically told me to wait. His response was, "I am not one of those two people." I then asked to speak with the manager. He said that he was the manager and rudely asked, "What are you going to do about it?" At that point, I thanked him for the rude treatment and left. Miscommunication between employees can happen, but blaming and belittling a customer for following the instructions given by other employees is unacceptable. A manager should be capable of resolving a simple misunderstanding without hostility, contempt, or intimidation. I will not return to this location. I hope the company reviews the incident, including any available camera footage, and addresses the manager's conduct.

You simply pull around the back and get in line and hit the waiting room while they do the rest. Very convenient. Lucky for me, I was in need of an inspection and there was no line.
