There is a small private shared lot for parking and street parking. The moment you walk in it's pretty grand. The ambiance is amazing. The decor is awesome. Everywhere you look there is something different, even into the restroom. There is a private dining area that is beautiful. The food was pretty good. Enough that I'll come back again. My husband raved about all his food! The pizza was made in a pizza oven so it had great flavor. My sister had nothing but good things to say about her large portion of chicken and waffles. The pretzel bites may be basic to some but this basic Betty enjoyed them, their presentation and the mustard and cheese dip that went along. Our waiter was attentive the entire time. Between their barrel pick program and a deep bourbon selection, I was more than set. Michael behind the bar is the man. He pointed me in the right direction more than once and put together a solid tasting without overthinking it. Craft cocktails, preset flights, and build-your-own flights make it easy to explore. Not my lane, but they also have a pretty solid tequila lineup. We were having such a good time that we invited our wives to join us. Antonio, the banquet manager, took great care of us and hooked us up with a table right in front of the TV so we could catch the football game. Super smooth, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. The food was just as strong as the drinks. Great selection of appetizers and plates. A colleague and I went for drinks and snacks at Brick & Brew on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant and bar were moderately crowded and it was loud. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. The Old Fashioned was well presented and tasted great! They have a wide selection of beers on tap, wine, and an extensive cocktail list. After our initial drink were served no one checked on us. We had to flag someone down to order food and additional drinks, which was surprising since we were sedated at the bar with at least 3-4 bartenders circulating. Really cool furniture and decor and like an insane whiskey collection if you're into that, the black and bleu burger was alright the caramelized onions were really sweet but it was fairly balanced out by the Gruyère. In addition they seem unwilling or unable to do a lettuce wrap on a burger. When I ordered, it sounded like no problem. I wish I had taken more photos, as I forget for our main course and desert. We have been to other locations but never to the Malvern location. It is a very nice ambiance with lots of wood and good light. Probably really nice with the large windows in summer. The soup was fine, it had good flavor but was very thin The crab and artichoke dip was also fine. I think the toast rounds were over done and too hard The pretzels were very good. The cheese dip was very nice. The bbq Mac n cheese was very tasty I really enjoyed my burger with the ham on it. It was cooked well and the fries were good The pizza was fine. We are local to Malvern so want to support our local business and have had good meals here with generally good waitstaff service. However, this evening we arrived and were immediately seated at 6:15 - there was about 25-30% occupancy. We waited for 15 minutes and were not approached by a server. I flagged down a server from a table across from us which had just seated a couple and had taken drink orders - they said they would get someone. We waited another 5-7 min, no one came or acknowledged us so we left. Very dissatisfied with the lack of attention to patrons. We are unlikely to return. read more

The ramen I would pass on. The broth is supposed to be tonkatsu and tasted more like a bland soup broth. Not enough broth, chicken was just grilled. No wow factor. All drinks were great. I would get pizza or the steak next time. I'm big on consistency so when we visited the second and the pasta was not like the first visit it was a bit of a bummer. The staff was wonderful and polite. We loved this so much, we came here for lunch two days in a row! The pub itself has beautiful decor. Service is quick and everyone is friendly. Cocktails are nice and fresh. Our first lunch, we did the empanadas, short rib burrito and salmon bowl, all great. It's all so much food, every plate you are getting your moneys worth. I ordered the salmon bowl and thought it was so light and refreshing while flavorful and filling. The next day, we got the pretzels and a shrimp pesto pizza and a pepperoni pizza. All amazing flavors. I will say the shrimp pesto is absolutely covered in an insane amount of capers. I love capers but not everyone at our table did so they didn't love how overwhelming the capers were. Met up with a friend during the usual weekday lunch rush but it wasn't busy whatsoever. Two customers were ahead of us, but we waited less than 5 minutes to be seated. We were seated at a high top table. I asked for the pineapple margarita and my jaw dropped at it's size. I was not expecting it to be massive but it was tasty. No appetizers were ordered but I took a photo of some apps listed on the menu and they all sounded fantastic. I went with the Roasted Beet salad as my meal. Was in town on business and I hit three separate restaurants in the area. By far this was the best. I loved the ambiance and feel of "downtown" Malvern and the restaurant had fun and creative dishes. We went heavy with appetizers sampling the fried pickles, wings and pretzels. The wings were oversized and large but not all that unique or different. The fried pickles took home the trophy for being unique and tasty. They were sliced long and thin. It did give you more batter than pickle but that is to my liking. Since we went heavy on the appetizers I had the bureaus salad. If you love burrata and the taste of balsamic, tomatoes, etc... this is your salad. One of the best things I have ever had. Outside the Crystal meeting room, there's an old time-y garden feel. The menus are in an leather binder that you unlock to open. It's like an old time-y journal. For appetizer, we split the cauliflower bites. It was so good. There's a ginger honey glaze and sesame seeds on top. The cauliflower are fried, which was crispy and the cauliflower themselves were not soggy. They had a good crunch. Beer: Sunshine pils. It came very foamy. But it was nice and light. Not really hoppy. Kind of had a floral after note. Entree: fig walnut & feta pizza. The pizza was a wood fire cooked. It had feta crumbles, arugula, candied walnuts, ricotta, mozzarella, strawberry puree, and balsamic glaze. It was really good. Lots of ricotta dollops. Good size pizza. Burger and grilled cheese were ordered too, fab. Fries are genuine goodness. Manhattan, Tom Collins and Old Fashion were spot on! A cast iron cookie dessert was shared and received top marks. We had our wedding at Brick & Brew in Malvern, PA on November 2nd. If you want the short version, everything about here is incredible. For details, start with the staff. Heather, the manager, took over as manager after we had already booked the venue. Heather is AMAZING! Kind, helpful, prompt, efficient..she's wonderful. She answered all of our questions, helped us to make our vision a reality, and was so accommodating. We're so grateful for Heather and the person she is. Chef Paul and his team of chefs are equally wonderful. The food at Brick & Brew is fantastic - everything on the menu - you can't go wrong. It's part of the reason we chose it for our venue. Chef Paul spent time with us at our tasting, ensured that we would have the food we wanted, accommodated special requests and dietary restrictions with no problem. He's a great guy and we appreciate him! The rest of the staff is just as wonderful, friendly, and attentive. The bar at Brick & Brew is huge and the drink selection is plentiful. Many beers on tap, tons of cocktails, and whatever you could want they have. The cocktails are not your ordinary bar cocktails - they are carefully crafted and delicious. The vibe and ambience is another reason we fell in love with the place. It's decorated in a very unique way. He recommended the deviled eggs...they are now the other staple dish of my visits. Holy moly! Fresh char grilled shrimp tucked inside perfectly seasoned eggs. I wanted to feel upset about $9 for 2 whole eggs. But I cannot! It's soo worth it, I must order every time, along with my... grilled octopus with chorizo over warm white beans. I came here for this specific dish. It's my everything. Tried a new drink...forgot the name. But it's Hendrick's & Prosecco & simple syrup & something...it was good. Feel bad writing such a poor review, but I have to call it how I see it. Walked in with a party of six at 5pm on a Wednesday. Hostess was astonished that we did not have reservations, and really made us feel bad about it. This was a business dinner that carried over from work, and we really had no way of knowing that a six too would put them back. BUT, they were able to accommodate us. We were all excited about the menu and all ordered cocktails. I had an old fashioned, and it was average. Cold and wet, so no real complaints. I ordered the Caliburger (medium rare). The burger was hidden by the roll and fixings. Not proportioned well. Had full bites without beef. Burger was well done, and on the drier side. Fries were okay. Where things really fell apart was paying for our check. This is not an exaggeration at all. Over thirty minutes of just sitting at our table looking at each other, wondering what was going on. We watched tables get seated, eat, and leave from the point we had gotten our food. No real explanation as to why. I'll give them another shot. Fun environment and menu. Great date spot and it will only look nicer when they take down the COVID plastic curtains that were between indoor booths. Outdoor wrap around patio did a nice vibe. The signage doesn't light up, which makes this place hard to find in the dark. I drove by it a couple times before realizing this was the place I was looking for. The parking lot is also very small, so when busy, parking was a problem. Luckily, I found parking on the street. The atmosphere is bright and warm and it was bustling on a Friday evening. You can see the wood-burning stove churning out pizzas, so we opted to share a Margherita pizza and a Brussels Sprouts appetizer. My friend didn't like the brussels sprouts at all. I liked the flavor, but would've preferred had they been charred and crispy. It definitely lacked any char, and with the wood-burning stove that would've been easily possible. The portion was huge! So there was plenty to take home. The pizza was just OK, a bit disappointing given the wood-burning stove. It looked better than it tasted. We were in a hurry to be somewhere, so didn't have a lot of time. I wouldn't return for pizza again, but service was good. It was a rushed meal as I was late and we had somewhere to be close by. I might return to try some other things, as there were a few appetizers that looked good. But I would not make the same choices, and would not get the pizza again. read more

This was possibly the worst service I've ever experienced in my entire life. I know that sounds dramatic, but trust me. It took 22 minutes for someone to come to our table to take our drink order. This was how long we waited to be greeted by our server whom we saw chit chatting literally 2 feet from us for at least 10 minutes prior to even being acknowledged. It's a shame because the restaurant and bar and outdoor seating are beautiful and the food (aside from a few items were delicious). What an absolute embarrassment. We complained to the hostess because the manager (?!) was paying zero attention to us and the 2 other tables that waited nearly a half hour to have someone pay any attention to us. All of a sudden after complaining, our waitress appeared with a serious attitude. She made no eye contact, and was clearly pissed that someone reprimanded her. The whole experience was tainted by this shitty service, which again is unfortunate because the food and atmosphere were actually nice. Seriously what a waste.
