Yes you can just get a pepperoni, but they sell many more oddballs like "pig and fig" Fig jam and honey on pruscutto covered with lettuce, or our thai chicken with bean sprouts and crunchy carrots. my opinion of the Thai chicken is mixed.. the raw carrots on the top were excessively crunchy as a topping, and there were peanuts, not crushed as in a thai dish but whole peanuts, for an aggressive mouth feel. Really gives your molars something to do. The pig and fig is super sweet. A crepe maybe, a pizza, not so sure. So, if you want to try something different, this might be the place for you. Ambiance was great. Cook time was long. They burnt the life out of the crust of our pizza. The toppings were fresh, good and cooked well but the black crust made it so that was all you could taste. I'd go back there again but we haven't because of our first experience with the crust. Price was high for what it was. **Gary P six years ago I was living in Hawaii. It was pretty good pizza. I love the chew of the crust, and the char was nice on some of the slices (and pretty intense on some others). I love to support any local business, so we will be back again to try some other combinations. The fig and pig and home run were good! I will try the margarita pizza next time. If you enjoy beer, they have so many on tap! I wish they offered Diet Coke (or any diet soda!), though. (Straws would also be awesome!) I did feel like paying $70 for two pizzas, two small salads, and two iced teas was a little exorbitant, but I guess that is to be expected going out to eat now. read more

I really wanted to review Brick & Brews higher than 3 stars because the pizza was very good & the place has a very nice ambiance, but in the end I landed on a 3 out of 5 star review for the following reasons. The restaurant is really best set up to serve parties no larger than 4 due to building size & furniture. My party of 9 was directed to outdoor seating that wasn't ready for guests. We had to wait for the tables to be wiped down & dried due to leftover rain from morning showers when arrived for dinner. Also, temps dropped off into the 40s, so we were huddled around gas lamp heaters for warmth. It's not a negative, it just is what it is & it's something patrons should know going in. Another observation is that Brick & Brews is essentially a serve yourself restaurant. Ordering for our outdoor table for 9 was done by going inside to a computer at the bar. Not a big deal, but servers weren't coming by during the meal. A manager/owner looking person made a couple of appearances, but that's it. No drink refills were offered at any point. Our charcuterie board appetizer came with 2 types of salami -- regular & peppered. Turns out both types were pretty spicy, so my wife & kids gave it 2 thumbs down. The biggest negative for me was the bathroom situation. They only have a single unisex toilet for the whole place. While there, every person in our party that needed the restroom facilities had to wait. The food was high quality enough I would go back in a heartbeat with a smaller party, but I probably won't try to meet friends there again anytime soon. Favorite entrees from our visit were the "homerun" pizza & the "fig & pig" pizza. Gluten free crust options available. read more

Why 4 stars? Because the pizza is delicious, it's just hard to get. --- --- --- I bookmarked Brick and Brews long ago and have always wanted to try it. The thing is, when I attempted to do this months ago, no one would ever answer the phone for a pick-up order. I tried multiple times on multiple different days and had no luck. Fast forward a couple months and I was talking to someone who said they loved this place and I mentioned my issue. They said that they never have a problem with that, so I assumed maybe I just had some bad luck. Unfortunately when we attempted to do so many months later, the phone still rings until it just hangs up. My wife had to run to HEB anyway, which is right across the street, so she went in here to order in-person, did her grocery shopping, and then came back. Unfortunately the original quoted time was nowhere near what it ended up taking. So, with what I've written so far, it's hard to understand my rating is 4-stars. I do want to say this in their defense: according to my wife who saw the business first-hand, it's a very small operation. According to her view point, it may literally be a mom, dad and their two kids working here *end of list.* I'd imagine, if that's the case, they don't have the ability to take phone orders. But if that is true, it would be helpful to have a recording that says, "we don't accept pick-up orders." Because it's pretty annoying to call several times and never speak to someone. But now, let's talk about the best part of this experience: the pizza itself. It's amazing. Truly. Which is why it's such a shame that it's so inconvenient to order. We went with the Pig and the Fig, and the BBQ Beef Brisket. Both of these were divine. Truthfully, I was barely hungry when my wife arrived home with the pizza. And then I ate like 10 slices because I couldn't stop. This is definitely one of the best eateries in the area. But this is my plea: please answer your phone! read more

Very Disappointed. A group of 11 showed up at 5:30. There was only one other table occupied. We all ordered our pizza and the 1st 2 couple's pizza that placed orders at 5:25 finally got served 1 1/2 hrs later. The lady owner was extremely rude telling our group this wasn't Dominos!! Numerous pies were served and she continued making excuses and was never apologetic. Finally, after their 3rd request for status she rudely said she just moved their pizzas ahead of 7 others. The pizza was good but no reason to support owner's that didn't seem to care. They need to understand that the first pie ordered should be first served. It was complete chaos by the 4 kids making the pies with no adult supervision who apparently didn't care when we got served. DON'T GO!!!!! read more

I absolutely love Bricks and Brews. If you're a thin crust lover like me, you'll love it too. The Canadian bacon is amazing and unlike anything I've ever had. The inside is a bit small but has a homey feel to it. You sit down with your guests and when you're ready, go order your food at the bar station. Even though it has a bar station, it's a kid friendly environment. Everyone working there is friendly and happy to be there. Wow, we got pizza from them for the first time tonight. Kind of....They sat us and took our order then gave us water after 40 minutes...didn't check with us again. We went up to ask about our pizza. It looks like one of the managers or owners was casual and drinking behind the bar...okay but we were not being served at all. Just moved to Magnolia and I was looking for a good gluten free pizza because I'm gluten intolerant. I tried a couple of different places but they were awful. Finally found this place online and they actually make their own gluten free crust on site every week. I was blown away with the quality of their entire product. I can honestly say that I have never had a better gluten free crust. The family that owns and operates this place is extremely friendly and they made me feel very welcome. Right next to the farmers market off of Tamina Road in Magnolia, TX. Small place that delivered big flavor. We had a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and jalapeños and three craft beers for about $30. Not too bad. The fire roasting of the pizza really sets it apart from others in the area like Brothers or Crust. Amazing! They make and toss their own dough and they use that delicious pepperoni that Grimaldi's on the river walk uses. It's the best. You won't see macro brews like Miller Lite or Budweiser on the menu and they don't carry Coke or Diet Coke. What they do have are a good assortment of local beers and craft sodas. The wine selection was fairly vast as well. We will be back for sure. A great find near the back of The Woodlands. read more

Casual, but also classy, with lots of wine being served and good glassware...this one is a little bit of a mystery. Loud and with unusual and pretentious pizza toppings it has all the hallmarks of a hipster pizza place that seems like it should be in a more upscale location. But, here we are. Don't get me wrong, The Woodlands is fall of places like this with even more polish. But this is on Tamina in an area that is very much under development. The floor is chaos, with limited table service that somehow still manages to be mostly effective. I could have used one more tea, but I'm mostly over it. The pizza was very good. It was apparently cut by someone who had never worked in a pizza restaurant before, and the sauce was unfortunately so unobtrusive as to be almost unnoticeable, but the cheese layer was generous and the crisp on the edges of the pepperoni was basically perfect. For now I'm calling this a soft four, I didn't challenge them today but they executed pretty well on the things I asked for. I'll have to come back with my daughter sometime when it's not quite so busy to let her try out the cheese pizza...she's a tougher sell than I am sometimes. read more

Terrible customer service. Waited almost an hour for burnt pizza while dining in there (not take out). And it was not cheap, either. This is the 3rd and final chance we are giving them (past visits have been similar...but we always give places a few tries to see if things improve). NOTE: One thing that we picked up on is ownership doesn't seem to care that much. Very blah attitude...almost like its a privilege to be there.
