I was recommended this pub by so many people. I was in DT Decatur with some friends, my wife, and brother after my birthday dinner, and wanted a place to go, to continue the fun. Brick Store was literally not even 100 feet from where we went for dinner, Iberian Pig. We went upstairs to have a drink. The vibes are super cool inside this pub! In my opinion, this might be one of the best beer pubs that I have ever been to. The upstairs feels very rustic and almost like you're in a castle of some sort. In true fashion, of course I got a glass of Guinness. It was perfect! Our server was super friendly and very attentive. She even provided some suggestions based on what the others were looking for. Her name was Olivia! Brick Store also has a full food menu too, but we just came for drinks. The food menu is tradiitonal pub type food, so fish and chips, chicken pot pie, etc. It honestly looked really good! I will definitely be back here in the future!!

This place is a true gem! Such an authentic atmosphere. Great selection of food and drinks. Service was outstanding even during FIFA World Cup games. Thanks for a great experience!

This pub was a pleasant surprise! Me and my family came here on a whim on one of the coldest days in Atlanta and enjoyed ourselves very much. The Alfredo was excellent. The cornbread and butter was amazing. The drinks were well mixed and the kids menu had great choices for the little ones. The prices were reasonable, which was a plus. The only thing that I can say That I wish was better was that we weren't offered a highchair, and didn't find out that they had them until the very end of our meal. This restaurant is located in downtown Decatur so be mindful that you will have to pay for parking and that can be a short or long walk to the restaurant depending on how busy the area is. There are tons of little shops nearby that you can stop in and grab a few goodies so it made for a wonderful Sunday afternoon.

It's been 15 years since I last reviewed the Brick Store Pub and since I met some friends here yesterday I thought I'd freshen up the review a bit. It's still in the same place and it's still the best brewpub in Atlanta for many reasons. Included are the ambiance, the great beer selection and the pub-style food. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30 - the parking (very limited on the square) was full but anticipated (still have to give it a go, right?). Anyway on Sunday the street parking is unmetered (for kicks I tried to pay and the app wouldn't give me a viable time segment). I also tried an outdoor lot directly behind the MARTA station but demurred when it gave me a $23 for 3 hours bill. Much easier to just walk three blocks rather than 2, no? I went upstairs to the Cellar (yes, I know) and met my friend Ken and his cousin Carl (in town for a show at Eddie's Attic). We sat at the bar upstairs and you're basically served by the taproom peeps (who schlep food upstairs from the kitchen). I had a couple of the cask offerings (if you're not in the know, cask pools have the beer stored in firkins or similar that have been injected with yeast to produce the carbonation instead of relying on CO2 tanks - it makes the beer more natural tasting and a real treat): *Bluejacket - Dead End Street - Brown Ale - English 4.5% ABV - Easy drinking sweet malty brown ale with creamy body and bready caramel notes. 4.1/5 * Edmund's Oast Brewing Co. - The Dark Stuff (cask) - Stout - Oatmeal 4.7% ABV - Tasty easy drinking stout, think US Guinness with finess. Sweet oatmeal malts finishing bitter with notes of cocoa, coffee and great lacing. 4.2/5 My friends were going for a later dinner so I ordered the BBQ Sampler for lunch. This included a pile of pulled pork and a slab of brisket with some BBQ sauces, vinegar and a pile of cubed roasted sweet potatoes. The pork was excellent, good smoky flavor and moist. The brisket (covered on BBQ sauce) was inferior - had over an inch of fat-cap, no smoky flavor and of course the fat wasn't rendered down (aka bad BBQ). Not sure what they were thinking on the brisket. I did link the pickled onions and Texas toast. Service was excellent with taproom staff coming by frequently to make sure our classes were kept filled. Food took a while once ordered but as I recall from the past, this is typical. Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Beer 5/5 Food 3/5 (dinged the "brisket")

The food was very good. The batter on the fish was amazing! The lamb stew had a sweetness to it. Best fish and chips I've ever had. Service was fast even though they were packed for St. Patrick's Day. We went for the corned beef and cabbage but it was sold out. We also got a black and tan, and the grapefruit cider. There are no girly drinks here lol! It was busy and loud but in a good way. The ambiance has a great vibe and everyone struck conversations with everyone. We will definitely be back.

Came to brick store with some friends and it'll definitely be a go to in downtown Decatur now! The inside is super cozy. Didn't get to see much of the back half of the restaurant since we had a corner booth right at the front of the store, but it was pretty private so that was nice. We shared cornbread and wings for apps and then I had the bbq platter while my fiance had the fish and chips. Even though brick store isn't a bbq restaurant, I thought their bbq was on par to a lot of them around Atlanta. The pulled pork was delicious and the brisket was a good mix of lean and fatty parts. The maple pecan sweet potatoes were SO GOOD as the side too! The fish and chips were also amazing. I'm usually not a fried fish person but I loved how flaky the fish was here. Cornbread and wings were pretty standard - nothing super special but we really liked them! Overall will definitely be back here!! But just like most restaurants in Decatur, it can be a bit busy around dinner time.

Went here for dinner on Friday. We got here right around 6 and just barely got a table without having to wait. It filled up quickly! We sat upstairs in one of the back rooms and I'm so glad we did because it was pretty loud in the rest of the restaurant. This is a super cool spot for a casual meal with friends! They have a great beer list and the food is great too. We got the brown butter sage pierogis, chicken salad melt, turkey sandwich and sides of Brussels sprouts! Everything was so good. We also got two oatmeal cream pies to go. They were really yummy, but be warned that the oatmeal cookies do have raisins! I liked it, but some may not. Definitely would recommend and will return to try more of their menu items!

I have eaten here for years and never been upstairs! OMG ! I love it up here. So chill, great jazz vibe. No pushing or crowds. Service is perfect. Same food as downstairs. You must try upstairs!!!

We frequent Brick Store Pub often, and every time we go the experience is great! Service is friendly and quick, the ambiance is very unique and open, and the food is amazing, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!! I had the chicken alfredo last time, and it was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. I also had their falafel melt, fish and chips, chicken salad melt, trout, burger, sage fried pierogies, and chopped salad as the side everytime because it's THAT good. I sincerely recommend anything on the menu, and their Belgian beer is perfection!! I had their holiday menu drink my last visit, which was very tasty and sweet, I also really recommend trying it if you like sweet cocktail drinks. All in all, brick store pub is a 10/10 for me, and I definitely will be coming back some more :)

Love this overall feel of this place. The brick and wood makes the space feel rich and has an awesome pub vibe to it. The beer menu is insane. Lots of fun, unique beers you don't see around to often on tap. Food was just okay in my opinion. Definitely came in with higher expectations. Started with the Soft Pretzel. Pretzel was good, served warm and was very soft and easy to pull apart. Absolutely loved the mustard with it but the pimento was just okay. I went with the Pork Chop Sandwich. This is definitely not something I would usually order but I love pork chops and sandwiches so why not. Had a rosemary goat cheese spread that was very good. Chop was way too dry. We also had the Turkey Sandwich. Probably the best thing we had and would get that again. Server was nice. It was packed in there and he was slammed but came around frequently and had a good attitude. Would give this 3.5/5 honestly but definitely want to go back for more beers and give the food another shot IG: danny_runsforbeer

    100. Our server Aidan was extremely helpful, courteous, and knew his way around the drink menu, to help us choose. And he understands how special this place is. You will too, go! Love the olde vibes, booths, food is consistently yummy and hits the table quickly. Try the rosemary buttered cornbread. Plentiful portions. Tasters, 6 oz. samples and flights to help you find your new favorite seasonal beer. Don't miss the seasonal cocktails.

Hubby and I have been planning to try this pub for a few months now and finally we're able to visit on this beautiful Saturday. They have a small patio area, but we decided to sit inside. The inside is decorated like a old pub lots of wood and brick. The hostesses were extremely friendly and nice when we arrived and our waiter was super helpful with suggestions. Have you got the steak plate (only available after 5pm). He was excited to try the steak because it was sous vide style. It was very good and we highly recommend. Sweet potatoes were delicious and the green beans were good, a little salty. I tried the fish and chips. Fish was a perfect flake with a wonderful breaded crust and the french fries were yummy as well. There is a homemade tartar sauce that is good as well. I prefer my fried fish with vinegar which they had as well. Definitely would get all of this again, but excited to try the chicken pot pie and the trout next time. Both looked delicious. I also got a house Margarita, but I will probably try something else next time. It was a little tart for me and very small for $12. Can't wait to go back and sit at the top or at the bar.

We were in town for work so two of us popped in here on a Wednesday night and sat at the bar. They have a decent selection of beer and are serious about their pours. We ordered the Brussels and pierogis as appetizers. The Brussels were just okay but I really enjoyed the pierogis especially with the sautéd onions. We also got the burger but added the pimento cheese. Having lived in South Carolina, I expected the pimento to be a bit more substantial. It was so melted that we thought they gave us the wrong cheese. The burger had great flavor and the fries were solid. The person who sat beside us got the pot pie and it looked delicious. If we come back, Will definitely revisit this place. They do have a couple tables outside on the sidewalk if it's a nice day and you're looking for that.

Do they deliver beer with food?

Not sure but not open at this current time is all I know.It would seem as if Beer is on the menu, they deliver it,but the laws could have changed that.so

Is this place not child friendly or are people just saying that because they don't want to dine with children?

It's a classic pub feel and I think it's perfectly fine for children! Especially earlier on in the evening!
