    Queso and veggie burger
    Kandus J.

One of my favorite spots in Decatur! Such great food, even for vegetarians! They have a veggie chili that is incredible!! They also make their own beer but have other beers as well. Plenty of pool tables plus free darts! Service is always killer too!

What's for lunch today? It's going to be a mile high club sandwich paired with beef chili at Twain's where we're knocking back a few and day drinking! Twain's is a fun establishment with pool and some table shuffleboard and a few pinball machines. And great food with friendly service. We had a fab time here getting our grub on before heading onwards. Very tight parking lot though, so good luck there! [Review 233 of 2025 - 802 in Georgia - 23797 overall]

Vegetarian Cuban with a side of vegetarian chili
    Lynn P.

We had planned to eat at a different restaurant, which was closed, so this was a pivot- a fortuitous pivot. Since we started eating vegetarian, pub food usually means making significant compromises, creating a meal out of sides and/or appetizers or crossing our fingers when we order the salad. My husband ordered the Mushroom Stew, which is served over garlic mash potato. This is delicious comfort food at its very best. A hardcore carnivore would be happy with this: I feel confident that easily half of the people who order it are not vegetarian or vegan. If not more. There are two veggie burger options, and a vegetarian Cuban (plus a delicious, sophisticated salad with fennel, goat cheese, smoked pumpkin seeds, etc) - I ordered the veggie Cuban, made with Jackfruit, with a side of the vegetarian chili and both were great. Next time, I am trying the crispy cauliflower and Brussels, and if my husband is really nice, I will share. The beer selection and vibe here are solid, and the pool tables and dart boards are definitely a plus if you want to make a night of it.

So came here on a Thursday. I must say if a week day come after 5 pm they have a full menu. Before that's it's a limited one with very few choices. We settled on chicken tenders , shared a large fry and wings. It's a large rustic place older building but man the food was very yummy ! The chicken tenders were huge !!!!! I ate two 1.5 and had left overs ! The fries reminded me of 5 guys fries which I love , the wings were juicy and good. The Mac and cheese was gooey and creamy I like the large noodles. Waiter was attentive and kind. I would absolutely be Back!

Twain's is a fun place to go in Decatur for drinks and to watch sports! It is walking distance to Decatur Square. The wait staff is great and the drinks are good. They have their own drinks on taps and the flavors rotate.

Always love coming here. When I come in, I leave happy and full. It's a good local spot with good food and drinks. The service is always great. I'm glad they provided a reason to come hang out here like there trivia nights. Still some what pricy on the food, but it's still good!!

Food: Food was good. Late night food. We can during the last hour so people were winding down. Limit options. Service- Again we could tell people were ready to go home. Ambiance- fun but the dart area was full of dirty tables and limited darts.

    Hummus plate and pretzels

Came here as I had plans to go somewhere else nearby that turned out to be closed. They were hosting a large party so we weren't able to play pool but we could play darts instead. The staff were nice while having to cover the bar and check in on the large group. I didn't get to see much of the establishment since the darts were near the front but it seemed pretty large. I tried their rhubarbie drink, hummus plate and pretzels. As a fan of gin, I liked my drink which was slightly tart thanks to the rhubarb. The pretzels was soft served with a side of cheese and mustard. I enjoyed the sides with the hummus including carrots, cucumbers, olives and warmed pita wedges. Overall, I had a decent experience having ordered simple items from their menu. I wouldn't mind coming again to see what the rest of the building has to offer.

Stopped in for a cold brew. The place is huge inside. Parking lot is small and was packed after 5pm. No street parking. Luckily the lot next door was accepting parking for a fee. We had a party of 3, 2 of us ordered beer the other a cocktail. The beer was good and cold. We decided on Beer Queso and Chips. Chips seemed homemade thin and crunchy, queso was good.

I've been here several times before I didn't leave a review. The parking lot was packed this time so I paid for parking across the street pass the pizza place near ponko chicken. The food here is good. I prefer the smoked wings though they flash fry them it might be cool just to have smoked only and fried only for the option. I get the lime pepper Wings which are great with blue cheese. I also got some fries and a cold beer. My uncle on the pool table. We went on ¹1/30/2024. Parking was like $15.00 for 3 hours I think. Great customer service here btw also. They also get your ID and debit card to hold and you get charged by the hour.

Attended Super Saturday for the Atlanta-Decatur Darts Association (ADDA) at Twains and was blown away by the atmosphere and enjoyment of their newly refurbished darts space. Twains now has six boards, professionally spaced, and with lighting that was installed by the best gaffer in the Atlanta media scene. The staff was READY for this event and kept the beer and grub flowing all day and deep into the night. This is not hyperbole to say it was a legendary event, perhaps the best in the 20+ year relationship between ADDA and Twains.

Staff friendly and always great. Today we had nachos with the chili but often have the chicken tenders which are sooo good. Delicious variety of beer on tap. Fun place.

Pork Belly Banh Mi and Fries
    Lili J.

I have been here so many times and usually, everything is really good. The fries are probably my favorite thing to eat and they give such a large portion of fries with the food. I have had the chicken burger, black bean burger, wings, fish and chips, and chicken tenders and all of those are really good. They have recently changed their menu and have some new menu items so I decided to try one and honestly, I wasn't impressed. It was the pork belly banh mi and it just wasn't good. It was very dry and there wasn't very much pork and what was on it was just too fatty. It just wasn't very good and knowing that there are so many other good items, I wouldn't get it again. I don't even see it on the menu anymore which I'm not surprised about. I would say stick to the classics because those are done really well and definitely get the fries.

They do a fantastic job keeping that up, and is on the front page of the web site. I've been coming here often for a couple of years. You order all food and drinks at the bar, and they call your name when your order is ready. Because the food service is more fast-casual, tipping can feel a bit excessive.I really like both the indoor and outdoor spaces. There are plenty of TVs and a big projector. The atmosphere was lovely during the World Cup when they played the game audio over the speakers. There usually aren't many kids inside, but the outdoor crowd can be hit-or-miss.My favorite thing about this place is the rotating ghost kitchen, which features new food options almost every time you visit. Food which is definitely elevated in both taste and variety from traditional pub food. We arrived at opening on Saturday and were glad we did because the place quickly filled up. We shared a flight of truly special beers (Brick Store has a casque mark certification). It was hard to choose a favorite. There was a 2016 La Trappe Quadrupel- strong and dark but smooth. Next was a 2018 barrel aged barleywine, then a 2021 mixed culture saison- sour and tart but flavorful, last was a 2020 raspberry lambic : acidic and sour but a wonderful sweet taste. It was fermented with wild yeast. The inside has a very quintessential old pub vibe. For lunch we ordered sage pierogis as an appetizer and the arugula salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and a scoop of flavorful chicken salad. Both were yummy. The only drawback was that our server seemed aloof and somewhat distant, which put a slight damper on an otherwise lovely experience.
