I bought a honda accord at this place with the goverment incentive "cash for clunkers", they verify my income, credit and approve me for financing...I drove happy back home that night... After two weeks they called me saying that i needed to return the car because i did not qualify for financing, i came by the next day and Gustavo said i could take a honda civic instead. I said no because that was not the car i needed since i have two kids and the civic was smaller, at that point i was very upset and i said to him i will take my "clunker" back to another dealer....he said he will talk to the manager to see what could be done. He came back saying that i could take the accord if i leave a down payment, wich i did, and i drove back home the accord. A week later, and after the goverment plan had ended, he called me again saying that i did not qualify for the accord and that i no other choice but to take the civic, at this point i could no longer take my business to another place beacause i will not get the goverment credit for the old car. So i got stuck with a useless car that has issues with the braking system (they will not admitted, nor fix it under warranty), and the ac have problems too. I urge you to avoid this dealer. I'm absolutely convinced the would lie to their mothers to sell a car. If you respect yourself in any way don't go to brickell honda/motors or the service department. read more

I love Honda. This place is dishonest. I went in to buy a new tire, to replace a flat. When I returned, they told me I needed a second. They then showed me a bald tire on my car. My car had been inspected at another dealership in Fort Lauderdale. The had check the treads, handing me a report with the info (along with info on my brakes, battery, etc). My tires were all in good shape at the time. I didn't call the police or demand to see the security video, but regret not doing it. I drove my car off the lot, without the second tire. I'll never go back. To add insult to injury, they took my Honda license plate placard of my car, replacing it with their own, without ever asking. read more

I only gave 1 star because there is nothing lower. I have been servicing my car at Brickell Honda for a few years years now, and initially was happy but today decided against patronizing them anymore. At my last service at Brickell Honda, I was told a $300 repair was needed immediately or else, some more expensive part was going to be damaged. Secondly, I was told another repair costing $900 was needed, on top of the $300 dollar one. I got suspicious. I had already paid them almost $1,000 for a previous repair, which by the way, did not fully fix the issue. I decided to try another shop, where I was told there was nothing they could do for me because there was nothing wrong with the car! In other words, there was no need for the $300 repair, or the $900 repair. I am so disgusted by their business model. They profit from the "repairs," and when you get sick of spending so much money to fix your car, to the point you want you to get rid of it, Brickell Honda is there to help you buy or lease a new car. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! Terrible experience at this dealership. Purchased a new vehicle here in December and before even driving off the lot I notice very faint superficial hairline scratches throughout the hood and roof of the car that in my opinion appear to be caused by stray cats that plague the area. I pointed this out immediately before finishing off paperwork and asked if they had any more of the make/model/color I was purchasing, of course they did not at which point I was offered to see another color. All of the vehicles out in their lot had the same scratches some worse than others (**BUYER BEWARE, INSPECT VEHICLE CLOSELY BEFORE LEAVING LOT, WHEN I WALKED THROUGH THE LOT LOOKING FOR ANOTHER COLOR THEY ALL HAD THESE SCRATCHES!!**). From the impression the sales person gave me it seems like this is a common issue they deal with. The salesman and finance manager agreed in writing to have the scratches on the vehicle buffed out and as I was without a car I decided to follow through with the purchase as I figured they would follow through with their end as it was in writing. The document was signed by the finance manager allowing me till 1/31/18 to schedule appointment to have the scratches handled. 2-3 days later I receive a call from the sales rep advising that he made a terrible mistake by accidentally giving me the spare key to another vehicle on the lot that was not mine. At this point, I am preparing for a planned trip to Europe and I am to leave in less than 24 hours, I kindly advised him no problem at all on my end as I understand mistakes happen and I kindly ask him to please hold on to my key and we will swap them out in 2 weeks when I am back in town and I advised him we would coordinate to resolve both the key and scratches at the same time. Fast forward 2 weeks, I get back in to town and I immediately message sales rep to coordinate resolution. Initially he appeared to want to assist but was very evasive whenever I would ask for confirmation he had possession of my key. When he realized I was on to him he just disappeared. Stopped answering calls and texts. I had to leave a message via their online department for someone to call me back to provide me with final resolution. Fast forward another week, I am contacted by another sales rep that apparently assisted first rep with the deal. He states that the key is gone and that they need to cut a new one with no other explanation and no excuse as to why the original rep never safeguarded my key. At this point I am ready to just resolve this once and for all and don't bother too much with the why or how's and decide to forgive and forget as they are agreeing to cut a new copy. I am told to bring car in on Saturday and everything will get resolved. Friday late afternoon I receive a message from sales rep stating that they can only do the key as everyone in the body shop was fired (which I found extremely odd). I am not able to waste 2 Saturdays so I decide to just take a laid back approach and kindly ask to just reschedule to the following week to get everything done at the same time. Rep agrees and all is well. Fast forward till tonight, rep messages me and appears to be prepping me for another surprise by advising that the person that is going to work on the scratches needs to see it first to figure how to proceed already implying it won't be resolved same day and dooming me to a second inconvenient visit. I tell the rep that first rep and sales manager took detailed photos of the scratches for their records and that the painter can look at those, I also describe in detail the type of scratches we are dealing with. Lo and behold they don't have the pictures on file, they are of course, lost. I am then asked to send pictures. At this point patience is wearing very thin, I am at work and don't have time to take detailed photos for their convenience. I also don't have detailed photos from the night I purchased the car as the salesman/finance manager insisted on taking their own for their file. I advise the rep of this and don't hear back for several hours. At this point I am just bitter about the whole situation and no longer want to keep putting forth as much effort as I have. As my issues have gone unsolved I have been left with no other choice but to resolve them myself. I will be taking care of these issue tomorrow and will be forwarding receipts for reimbursement. If I am not reimbursed I will just file a case in small claims court. Live and learn. Never again. I bought a Honda Civic here. After the warranty expired had trouble with the A/C. This dealership made a succession of repairs to said A/C, until the total spent on such repairs was around $1,000.00. The A/C still not cooling. Finally, I had it with them. Changed to another mechanic shop. It turns out it was a $200 repair, and it was completely fixed. I have not returned to Brickell Honda since, and I am very happy with my current mechanic. read more

I purchased my 2014 Civic Si Coupe at this dealership October 2014. I have forgotten the salesman's name and I don't see him around every time I get my car serviced there. I look for him every time to say thank you. He worked so diligently to meet my needs plus more. As far as the service department, Ismael is the best. He always makes sure that my vehicle gets the best service. I've had a couple of problems after bringing my car there (tire always going flat, scratch on my side view mirror) but he always makes it right. There is no such things as perfect service, something can always go wrong, but at least they do their best to correct them. read more

On August 30, 2015 I went to this dealership to buy my first car ever. Apart from being extremely excited I was very nervous I didn't know what to expect but then Marlene came up to us and helped us through the whole process. I came with an idea of what I wanted but came out with something so much BETTER! Marlene was so patient, nice, funny and attentive. PLEASE READ!!! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO OR RECOMMEND BRICKELL HONDA. I had an absolutely terrible car buying experience at Brickell Motors, Miami. My salesman was inattentive and scrambling everywhere with multiple customers, spending little time with each, just like all the other salesmen. He did not have the car key for the vehicle that I wanted to buy. He told me that I would have to come back another day to purchase the vehicle, knowing that I made a two-hour drive from Fort Myers, Fl to Miami, Fl. I was then transferred to Many Cortes, a Senior Sales Consultant. He was very nice, at first. He made many broken promises. He said: "I promise I will do something special for you at the end." I got nothing. I ended up making the final deal with him. After reviewing the online listed price for the certified pre-owned vehicle, I was told by Many that the certified pre-owned protection was an option and would need to be purchased on top of the listed online "certified pre-owned price." I was told the vehicle will be shipped to my house when the key was made for the very next day. When signing the final papers, Grethel Molina, the Finance Manager, was ignorant and barely spoke English. She was unprofessional because she forgot to give me copies of the paperwork until I asked and gave me a copy of some paperwork that she needed to finalize the sale. She called me the next day so she could ship me another copy for myself to sign and send back. How could one forget a vital part of their job? Every step of this journey was a nightmare! read more

I confirmed two hours prior that the car I wanted to test drive would be available, and then I drove an hour to their dealership. When I arrived, the salesman left for a minute to "get the keys," and then returned to say "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know the car was taken to be serviced an hour ago. My manager didn't even know." This was at almost 7 at night. I checked Carfax out the next day to find out that the car was taken for service the day prior and driven almost 100 miles. I would never recommend or go back to this dealership. This was scheduled through the "internet manager," and I even spoke with her twice before arriving. This is the worst experience I had over the last 40 years of purchasing or leasing a car. I was at Brickell Honda finalizing a lease until closing time, exhausted from all the Sales B.S. Talk. Upon inspecting the car we found the trunk of the car was flooded with water, and there were scratches on the car. I was assured that all these minor issues would be taken care of. I was not presented a copy of the contract, Mr. Fajardo (finance) stated not to be concerned. Of course the contract arrived weeks later incorrect, and of course in the dealership's favor. To make matters worse a few weeks later I receive a bill for wearand tear on car that was traded in. Originally went to Brickell Honda to get an idea what a new Honda Civic lease would cost. There was a lot of wear and tear and I wanted to know how much it would cost (how much they would adjust the price of the new payment). After negotiating the price with everything included I now find out that the contract price was changed and the wear and tear was not included. The monthly payment issue has been resolved after numerous calls to the dealership, but I'm still stuck with the wear and tear. I was specifically told more than once not to worry about the wear and tear. Even after presenting them with a End Of Lease "Wear and Tear" policy I purchased covering the damage on the trade in, I was told not to worry. For the next few weeks I tried to get someone on the phone. I was transferred from one person to another until finally they explained it wasn't their problem. Don't trust a thing they say. Get everything in writing and read it twice. I'm a comfortably retired CPA, over 800 credit score, and I don't look to cause anyone problems.
