I really want to love this place since it is so close to my house, but I really need consistency. First- they are all very nice but nice doesn't make a manicure or pedicure. I've had good pedicures here and some mediocre pedicures. This week I decided to treat myself to a (gel) mani and get my nails looking decent for a few week work trip. I'm not sure she did the process correctly because it looks incredibly thick on each nail- kinda like little squished marshmallows sitting on top. And now two days later my thumb has chipped- super disappointing. Anyway, the pedicure this time was good but I left with rough skin and that's what gets me- it should be the same every time & they should be smooth- otherwise I could do the same at home with my own pumice (which is more sanitary anyway). Also, they have wine and water but never offer. I always end up feeling like I'm bothering them asking for it. But alas, I will probably give them another try but definitely not for gel polish. Oh, and the tv was on the most ridiculous reptile/bug show...not what I want to watch when I'm trying to chill. What a great surprise! This is a new, clean, friendly, relaxing salon! I felt like I had been coming for ages. The color selection is endless and the colors aren't thinned out with acetone like other salons in the area. I was so excited to have found it! It's across from the at&t store on the 3rd floor. The prices aren't crazy for the location and the service is great. Lily gave me the best deluxe pedi... she took her time and it was the most relaxing foot massage in a while. I been to this place a couple of times for nails and Milly normally helps me out she's was really nice so I thought.. I decided to get chrome nails for the first time didn't last not even a day for the price I paid ($60) like a week ago on top of that... My nail cracked and went in there right at 8:00 and they close at 9 just to have her patch it up. Walk in not one client but everyone sitting on there phones. This young lady yelled for her she yelled back come tomorrow. I refuse to leave the girl helped me out but I thought it was so unprofessional for a repeat client to have to go thru the commotion just to fix one nail. Brickell Nail bar is really great!! When you first walk in, you'll notice how beautiful it is! It's aesthetic is modern but simple. Really the most beautiful nail salon I've ever been to. They have a great selection of polish brands and colors. They have tons of regular polish, gel, and even the new "dip nail" colors to choose from. I found my absolute FAVORITE new color there, Essie's "Go Go Geisha" (since, I've gone and bought 2 bottles at Target to stock up for the future). I have been 3 times and all three times got my acrylics done with Milly. She is SO sweet, and really knows how to do the perfect Acrylic. She listens to what I want perfectly, and didn't make me feel badly one of the times I thought I wanted matte nails, then once it was done changed my mind. She painted it over with topcoat for me, no problems at all. She's my new favorite nail tech! The rest of the staff is very nice as well! I have only given 4 stars because the first time I went I got a pedicure that was not absolutely perfect. My nails looked amazing, but my feet were not scrubbed and soft the way I felt they needed to be to get that last star. HOWEVER, the last time I was there I learned that the tech who did that pedicure has since left the salon, so maybe they'll bring in someone new? Here's to hoping and I will update my review if so. This was my first time at this nail salon and I absolutely LOVED it. Milly did a perfect job. I showed her a photo of what I wanted for an upcoming event (short almond acrylics with a OPI's Don't Bossa Nova Me Around) and I'm in love with how they turned out. I found this place on Yelp after I lost my appointment at another nail place, and it was the best thing that could have happened. I walked in without an appointment and they accommodated me immediately. The receptionist and nail techs were all super nice, and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Milly was very knowledgeable and made sure that I was okay with how my nails were turning out as she was doing them. Christine really took alot of care to ensure a high quality service with detail to my feet which were in dire need of a pedicure. Their upgraded deluxe pedicure adds additional massage with a scrub mask and hot towel and an oil, all scented in a variety of aromatherapy options. I went with the lavender, and it was incredible. The manicure was great as well. Exactly what I wanted. No wait, walk in service. This salon uses individually sterilized tools and single use pedicure basin liners. This salon is new, clean, quiet and relaxing. It was the perfect mid day escape to get my nails done. Prices are good and comparable to the rest of Brickell. Lots of nail colors by Essie, OPI, Kendra Scott and more. I also like that its in Brickell City Centre, so on a rainy day you don't have to run to get to a streetside storefront, as the mall is covered. BCC offers free 2 hour parking in the garage so you don't have to pay for it, which is nice. The salon chairs are plush and velvet, and very comfortable - I might have dozed off during my hand massage. The team at the salon is chatty and kind and are all very nice, which is important to me in a salon. There are bowls of Asian candy around the salon to try as well as stunning floral arrangements. *Note that the do accept credit cards, but tips must be in cash. A classic manicure + polish is $18 even. I will definitely be returning! read more

Paid $55 (then added 20% tip on top of it) for a dip manicure with tips done by Jimmy. These are supposed to last 3 weeks MINIMUM. Within 4 days, about half of the tips had cracked in half and fell off leaving sharp jagged edges. This happened on a Tuesday and I work a full-time job with very long hours. So I removed the rest of the nail polish myself, went in on Saturday morning to let them know what happened. Instead of offering me a refund or replacement, they told me that because I waited to come in until my day off work that they would do them, but I still had to pay half price. For that, I would much rather take the money to get a plain gel manicure elsewhere in a salon where I will be treated better. Definitely will not be returning and would not recommend to anyone. read more

Worst job ever! My nails chipped and bubbled the next morning I got my manicure and they are not willing to do anything about it. Their managers are in Vietnam and they don't know when they're coming back. So apparently there isn't anyone that's really running the store or knows what's going on. Great place to go!! I've been going here since they opened and I've never left disappointed. Everyone is friendly, nice and talented at manicures and gels. As you can see by my picture, top and bottom of nails are even, cuticles are clean, and gels polish was applied with perfection! They use DND and OPI as their brand for gels. I have been here three times and have nothing but great reviews! I was hesitant because of the reviews and waiting until my third visit to write one. So first of all- of course you do not make an appointment! This is a mall nail place! You need to except it for what it is. Second- $50 for a mani pedi- someone please tell me where it is cheaper that is this CLEAN COMFORTABLE NEW QUICK. No where. They do a great job and I am super picky. I'm from NYC, have lived in Scottsdale, LA, Austin, Houston and no where is $50 for a mani pedi anymore. Also- great color selection that is not full of old colors. I love this place! Also her is a tip- it does NOT include a hand and foot massage- you pay extra for a long one and you will get a 2-3 minute one. This is also normal for nail places. read more

My friend on the other hand, wanted a full new set with a design. Somehow my price was $95 FOR A POLISH CHANGE and my friends was $75 for a full set AND a design?! How does that math add up? Alejandra (la Colombiana) is AWESOME!!!! I explain what I want with pictures (I mix and match styles) she lets me know if it's possible and exceeds my expectations every time! Beautiful, professional, clean nails, I get the dipping powder and she does such a perfect job (not thick, thin strong layers) I've had other nail techs compliment her work. The manicure lasted almost 2 months (normally I don't go that long but she was out of town) with no chips or cracks! Today I went in for a manicure and pedicure. Almost three hours later, after letting my feet air dry for almost three hours, I put on wedges. All of the nail polish on my toes got entirely** smudged, from the bottom to the top. While regular nail polish does take a while to dry, I've never had it take so long to dry before. Also, when it's not dry after almost 3 hours, maybe it gets slightly smudged around the edges however, I've never had the entire polish on the nails come off. I called the store to share my experience and the manager told the receptionist twice that she was too busy to speak with me, that I could come back in for a re-polish if I didn't like my polish, but that I didn't qualify for a refund. It's not that I don't like my polish, it's that there was something off with the nail polish or perhaps too much of it was used. The manager didn't even have time to speak with me. Brickell City Center deserves better customer service. I won't be coming back and you shouldn't either. So dissapointed with this place. On top of the bad customer service, the lack of attention from the manager, the chairs are all stained and the entire place smells of fumes. Again, anything in Brickell City Center requires classy service and attention to detail, and if that's not the case, then it's not a business we should support as neighbors. read more

It was merely okay here. Appointments are generally 5/10 mins late which is never that big of deal. However, the quality of nails that you get for the price is outrageous. I've come here at least 6+ times and every time I've come I've barely been satisfied (especially for fills) fills that typically cost $60+ all for them to not even clean the underneath part of the nail which is absurd to me... I got my nails done elsewhere after getting a couple fills here and when I went to the other nail salon they were so surprised that when they filed the color off my nail was yellow which I've never seen before. It's annoying that this salon is so mediocre as it's in a perfect location for me. If you could go somewhere else I'd advise it. read more

Gorgeous, brand new you get it. But my pedicure experience is always so awkward... there's no music going on... it's quiet as a mouse... and the tub where you put your feet is like still, plain water. No bath fizzy, soap, jets.
