I can't begin to describe how wonderful this store is!!! When you walk in you are family. The staff and owners go out of their way to make every single visit personal, one of a kind, and wonderful. It's owned and run by the sweetest family you could ever hope to meet. They make sure you and your own family always leave happy. Whether that means letting the kiddos leave with an extra Minifig accessory or holding a special item behind the counter until the next day or even helping pick through the bulk bits to find that special part, they're there to help. We took advantage of their birthday party experience and literally could not have been happier! Everything was taken care of from start to finish. We had planned to have a pizza picnic after the party but the manager of Zalat Pizza next door came and told the owner of B&M, Andrea, that he was worried about how hot it was outside. Over 100' that day! Bricks and Minifigs declared that we simply must stay over our time and enjoy pizza and cake inside. Like I said, when you're there, you are family, and family means no one gets left behind. We buy nearly every birthday present here now. Shop local and support small businesses! Came here for a birthday party. The store was 58 degrees inside! I had to ask to turn on the heat, and they rolled their eyes at me. It still never got over 62 the whole time we were there. The kids were playing in the party room. Once my kid stepped out to show me what he built, and the party police were quick to make sure he did not leave the room with a LEGO in his hand. While they did have a lot of legos, and my kid had fun, they need to be focused on comfort for the customers and stop being so cheap. read more

After visiting similar resellers throughout the country and metroplex, this is my least favorite. Firstly, The shopping experience is sterile with the fluorescent lights and tile floors. The playful, interactive, creative Lego vibe is missing. Secondly, they run fewer promotions compared to other locations. Promotions are typically communicated via FB and happen last minute. Some positives with this location is dependability, cleanliness, and the location. Value is as expected. I've never had an issue with anything purchased from here. read more

This store is a MUST STOP! For all ages! My son and I stopped in the other day and thought it was just collectables(no touching) Lego store. NOT AT ALL! They have all figures, sets, and more! Is it a brick? Is it a block? No, it's the ultimate super LEGO retail store. Bricks and minifigs represents bankruptcy and financial devastation for me and I love it. This place offers a plethora of official LEGO products, from motors and batteries to the all important instructions. If you've ever built with LEGO you'll be no stranger to the parts deficit rage quit. When your friend Bob lets you down and Brinklink isn't returning your pleas for help, search and ye shall find Bricks And Minifigs. Dominating a section of the building is a gigantic table overflowing with a plethora of elements from sets of all ages, including *sniff* bionicle. Methinks I just dated myself. Regardless Bricks and minifigs is now my go to shrine of the abs styrene building bits. But they decided to step things up a bit by including a build your own figure station replete with accessories and hair pieces for your bespoke minis. If you're still not sold, you either don't love LEGO or you (like me) hate overpriced items, but never fear! Bricks and Minifigs requires only mild disbursement for excellent quality and a good overall experience. One side note is always bring hand sanitiser, cos you're going to need it. read more

We were invited to a niece's and nephew's joint birthday party here this past Saturday and had a decent time. The party itself and getting to hang out with family and friends is always a great time. The store itself is pretty unique in a way. They buu and sell used and new legos and minifigures; hence the store name. Don't expect high end finish outs and displays like a lego store in a mall. It's configured and outfitted like a resale shop, so if you go in with that expectation, the place serves its purpose. They also sell larger already assembled complex pieces made from advanced anf master builders. The woman that was in charge of the party operations that worked there was very strict, passionate, and particular with timing and procedure....and she warned us of this beforehand, so it wasn't much of a surprise or any disappointment. They have minifigures for sale and priced individually. I did a quick phone lookup of how much same pieces were sold on Amazon.com and found them to be cheaper online for about a handful I researched...just an FYI. There is a pretty basic party room in the back that we were in with tables, chairs, and 2 race ramps. Nothing spectacular or decorated. It's hard to keep a resale-type operation overly imoressive as far as presentation. This place does an adequate job and is a decent option for a birthday party for younger kids, but just a one time thing. read more

Holy cow this place is SUPER expensive. 3 / $10 mini figures where the majority of the heads had their faces already rubbed off. $5 for a mini figure in a plastic ball. The figures in the cases were $10-$15. Go on eBay and spend 50% less. We purchased multiple of their sets for over 40% off on Amazon the week prior. Unless you ABSOLUTELY are looking for a very specific piece, this place is not worth it. The part that really rubbed me the wrong way was how the owner was talking to customers. She was saying how her and her husband owns three of these Lego stores and how difficult it is for small business owners. With people shopping online, it's making small mom and pop shops go out of business and people are going to regret it and miss these shops when they're gone. Yes, these are all true statements that I agree with, BUT you're doing this to yourself with these absurd pricing! Plus why are you telling your pity story to customers? Where's the 6 star button? Just bought LEGO 7782 and 5976, both used. Very good prices, 5976 missing a few pieces (was stated this possibility before purchasing) and 7782's Joker minifig was in absolute pristine condition and CAME WITH AN EXTRA HEAD! Would purchase again anytime. 5976 was only $85- on eBay you would normally fork up $150-$500. 7782 was just $160. Great buy! read more

This place is like paradise for LEGO lovers! I took my son and the all of the staff is very friendly. A BIG shout out to Noah, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. My son asked if they had any wheelchair pieces and based off the pieces he had already chosen, Noah knew exactly what he was trying to build! Noah quickly put together a Professor X minifig for him. I could not recommend a store more than I recommend Bricks & Minifigs Plano. Today, due to rent/medical stuffs, I had to do probably the hardest and most painful thing any LEGO fan could do; I sold my entire collection. They always give more than fair trade-in and sale prices, and Andrea was incredibly kind and understanding during the whole transaction. I've been coming to their store since early this year, and Andrea, Jason, Stephanie, Noah, Lily, and everyone else that has helped in their shop has made my experience absolutely wonderful, and I could not thank them enough for all of their time, helpfulness, camaraderie, and kindness. If you are a Lego lover, then make time to visit this store I enjoyed my first visit tot the store and will definitely bring my kids to it Just know that it will be hard to leave without wanting to fill up a bulk bag. I found many of the retired sets I have been looking for Also was able to fill up my grab back with many of the pieces I needed to finish many sets i have. My sons favorite place to go by far. Last year we even held his birthday party here. All the kids(girls&boys) had a great time. The owners and staff are beyond awesome and super accommodating. It seems we are here every few weeks. They have new sets and used sets all very reasonable priced. The best part though is the bins were you can mix and match the pieces you need. It is a cool store, but you will get ripped off. It might be worth it if you HAVE to have a certain piece or minifigure. I see used sets for sell at the same price and sometimes more than the new set still in production. We traded in 7 minifigs that were in the glass case selling for $9-10 each. Then they gave us $10 total. I was told ahead of time the rate would be 60% of the sell value so when I questioned it, she just said it was complicated. We did it though and will not be going back. :( read more

We love this shop and love the fact that it is family owned. They have an awesome selection of new Lego sets as well as "pre-owned" sets. In addition they have a great selection of big figs and mini figs and many that you can no longer find in other stores. You can build your own mini figs and buy Lego pieces in bulk. The owners work in the store along with their employees and are always very friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgable. I'd give Bricks and Mini Figs more than 5 stars if I could! read more

If you or your kids like legos you should bring them to Bricks and minifigs. My kids don't but we went to buy a few pieces for a school project and spend an hour building stuff. It's basically a buy and sell lego store where you can build things and just pay for that. Very cool concept read more

Went by here last Sunday and enjoyed it immensely. Really cool vintage items as well as some new stuff. Now...the vintage items were definitely pricey but we don't mind paying for something scarce and collectible. Plenty of staff on hand and everyone was SO friendly! It must be fun working here!
