We had such a great experience at Bricks Pizza! The pizza was absolutely delicious. We got the wood-fired pepperoni pizza with the stuffed crust, which had bacon and cheese inside the crust, and it was SO good! The owners were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The restaurant was also very clean, and I loved that they had a special area for kids to read books and play games. Such a thoughtful touch for families! We will definitely be back and highly recommend checking them out! read more

We came into town because our vacation cabin was low on groceries and decided to make a day of it. We stopped here for pizza, and it was a great choice. Tasty pizza, super friendly service, and 3 different choices of seating including an outdoor patio that seems like it would be great for date night. There is a game room with a couple of old school arcade games that are free to play which will help keep the kids from running around annoying the other customers. We found this spot super friendly. They helped us figure out how much to order and answered our questions. We split the medium 16" into two halves for us and the kids. Their buzzer beater was closest to a supreme. We asked to swap the salami for mushroom and they did take out the salami but may have forgotten the mushrooms but it was still good. The kids asked for pineapple and bacon... weird combo but they like what they like lol. The restaurant was cute and had a historic saloon feel. There must have been a youth sports game that day since we saw all the players sitting and eating pizza. Gave it a fun vibe. Their pizzas do take about 30 minutes but we weren't in a rush and they gave us a heads up. We got takeout but if I visited again, would opt to sit at the bar for a slice. The pizza was good but not exceptional -- but the great part was we could order at the bar next door, and they walked it over to us at the bar. It's not my preferred style of pizza, the dough is thick and the toppings are thick but it's good. And it was piping hot. We got two salads as well and both were fresh and crisp. read more

We spent the night in Weaverville on a Saturday night in January for a date. We walked in to Brick's pizza and pub after a movie at the Trinity Theater (check it out, we really enjoyed it!). We were not greeted when we entered. There were three different people working at the counter. One person was helping a man check out with his pizza and then disappeared. Another person was helping a family place their order and then began chit chatting after the order was placed, passing a baby to the employee behind the counter. The third person was just standing there not doing anything, not even participating in the conversation. There were no other customers. Zero. None waiting, none already sitting. We waited over 5 minutes for someone to help us or even acknowledge us, frankly, and we finally asked the third person not doing anything if we could get some slices. She told us there was a line. Ummmmm ok. I responded that it seemed like their order was placed and chit chat was happening and thought maybe she could help us. She was not amused. She never smiled. She never welcomed us. She did get the slices and rang up our order. The pizza was barely ok - we threw most of a slice out instead of finishing it. Maybe a whole fresh pizza would be better but we won't find out. Unfortunately the pizza was average at best. We ordered two pizzas, one with meat and one with vegetable toppings. Both were doughy, thick crusts for our taste and pricey for an average pizza. We really wanted to be impressed with the food because the idea of a "pub" feel restaurant and sports (televisions that are showing sports) themed environment is needed in this small town. Hopefully they find a way to improve the food or at least make it unique. read more

Nope! Took my visiting relatives in an attempt to get them to love Weaverville as much as I do. Ambience was benign, place was clean but empty. You could hear an echo! Service was nonexistant. Food, pizza was bland, almost tasteless. Crust was rubbery. Cheese is fake (thank you Sisco) and tasted like Velveeta or canned cheese. One must order at the counter on a screen between 2 prominent sign that warns that "tipping is not only for cows" and another sign that says, "Bus your own table". The person at the counter watches the screen intently as you use your credit card and select the percentage of tip you plan to leave which starts at a whopping 15%. I think that's very rude! Prepayment and obligatory tip are required before any "service" begins. (that always makes me nervous about what can happen to the food behind the scenes if you don't tip a certain amount). We ordered soft drinks (self-serve of course) but the machine was out of many selections. Actually, the cook sitting at the counter said, "we ain't got none." (I think we interrupted his break). 2 small personal pizzas cost a total of $53??? Our much anticipated evening out and dining experience lasted a total of 30 minutes and cost more than $100. PS after we bussed our own table we didn't feel it was proper to ask for a tip. Never going back! read more

Two friends and I tried the pizza here for first time. Each of us thought our personal pizza was delicious, perfectly baked and no shortage of various sausage and veggie toppings. Sauce (mine was red) was delicious, and the mozzarella was thick and stretchy, as it is when genuine. My friend who does not usually like chicken and white sauce enjoyed hers, especially the artichoke hearts. My other companion ordered a custom pizza with potato, and gave it thumbs up too. The old building shows off its impressive brickwork, made of local clay and fired in a brick furnace during mining days. The timbers that form the ceiling and roof are shown off to great effect overhead, without being overbearing. New booths are tasteful and comfortable. A large group of preteen girls and parents came to share Valentine party fun. They were all happy and added to the fun outing without overtaking it. Plenty of room for everyone. Me and my basketball team went to Bricks pizza & pub after a game for something to do. The hospitality was amazing and they let us come in early. Their food was absolutely amazing I would highly recommend. Also a great place for family and kids they have a neat game room to keep younger kids occupied whilst still having fun. The service is good other then the occasional mess up on the pizzas. And ill be honest they should have rented the old pizza place across the street if they are having to charge so much. The pizza is good and the price is ok giving that its in a rural area but they never listed that a half order of mozzarella sticks is only 3 for 9$ not big ones and not homemade thats definitely not a good price and feels a bit price gouging for them when they clearly get them from Costco 20$ for 5 lbs. read more
