Meh. I work nearby so I thought I would try out the new place. My Long Island Iced Tea tastes like Coke and Sweet n Sour the bartender was nice enough though. The chili cheese fries were ok. I'm not a fan of liquid fake cheese, I mean, I KNOW that is stereotypical "nacho" cheese but just not my preference. The menu is definitely just appetizer type food which is fine if that's what you're looking for. Overall, I was extremely disappointed in my LIIT because I could have gotten a better buzz off of an IPA ... And the fries were just OK. I doubt I'll go back any time soon :-/ read more

Passed this place by a few times, glad we stepped in this round. Great beer selection. Menu with all the basics covered. The soft pretzels on point. Great cheese, the texture of the pretzel was perfect. The Cuban sandwich while good, had too much meat, never thought that would be an issue. They did not skimp but is made the sandwich a bit dry. Otherwise a fantastic visit, will darken the doorway again for sure. read more

A fun atmosphere and a lot of beers to choose from. They have many theme nights. The reason I give them the low rating is the food. It is not good in my opinion. I have eaten 5 items ( typical bar food) and it was BAD. I would make a point to eat elsewhere if you want to go drinking there. The service is good. read more

A bit tight as far as the number of tables, chairs and overall space, but I use a wheel chair, however a simple "excuse me" will be accommodated by all with a smile. Just recently went to this bar on a Saturday evening and things got way out of hand. It all started because we questioned the bartenders on why they filled our drinks half full and their response was because we weren't tipping "enough". We left tips for our first round of drinks and then our second round we left tips even though our drinks were half full. So there was some confusion on our end for why we received drinks that were half full? How can they do that when we paid for the drinks? Next thing we know we were told we had to leave. We proceed to leave and as we are getting up from our booth, security guards physically grabbed my brother and one security guard pretty much had my friend in a headlock and pulled her out of the booth. This is very unacceptable and please watch your cameras to know this is not a lie. This was Saturday 4/2/22. Since when are you guys allowed to touch people and throw them out? And fill drinks half way? Because you feel we didn't tip "enough". I will be calling corporate on this location, the bartender, and the security that put their hands on us for no reason! I've been to a lot of bars, including every one in Lee's Summit. THIS is my go to bar. The staff is friendly and will do everything in their power to make your experience amazing. The food is great, the beer selection is good, and the bar tenders know what they're doing and are super friendly. The only thing I can "complain" about is the lack of a tv on the patio, but the games are broadcast over the speakers so it's not so bad. From what I understand they've only been in business since March, I expect great things from this place and would gladly recommend it to anyone I know. read more

Atmosphere is very good when you first walk in. They use frozen burger patty and it tasted like...well a frozen patty burger you microwave at the gas station. Big surprise when I got the bill. I didn't realize I would get charged for each items bacon ($.99) , guag ($.99), grilled onion ($.49) for build a burger. I also got charged from small thing of ranch and salsa ($.49 for each). Overall, food is horrible and they charge for every little items and condiments beyond ketchup and mustard - I would never go back to this place. read more

Omg...how do you say amazing spicy brown sugar wings. These fried wings come straight from heaven. They were delicious. I LOVE them and I'll go back every week for an order. Huge shout out to the staff. They are such a fun group of people that always make my boyfriend and I feel like that is the place want to be. My husband had a dozen wings... half siracha dry rub, half Bricks hot sauce (next time he said he'd get all dry rub). Fun place. First time in for lunch today. Atmosphere was bright and inviting. Cool layout with nice design and lots of TVs. We wanted to try the chips and guac app for something like $6.95 (an upcharge from the basic chips and salsa) and wanted to incude a cup of salsa, but the bartender/server guy said it would be a buck more. $1.00 more for an already $7 chips app? No thanks, had to pass. Wife had the southwest wrap which she said was good. I had the Hawaiian Flatbread which was pretty pedestrian. I've had similar quality Flatbread at a Courtyard by Marriott. Overall this was just a blah experience. Difficult to understand why the Pitch gave this place such a high rank. They have some adjustments to make if they hope to stick around. read more

Never got to eat but the service is terrible. Stood by the front door for 10 minutes before someone talked to us. Then when they did we said we needed a booth because we had a kid and they said okay but then we waited another 10 minutes and although there were available booths, they needed to be bussed. And they did not even try to clean them up. Probably a solid pub but they failed at the grub part. I recommend getting more people during the lunch shift and teach the people currently there to be nice. read more

We just happened to be downtown for lunch last week and wanted to try Brick's food. The previous reviews weren't promising, but I can only think they maybe they were awhile ago. The menu has plenty on it for adults and kids, and there are 8 TV's inside (and they cover all 4 walls). The food was really good! We ordered the chicken salad sandwich with onion rings, and a burger with coleslaw. They all tasted from scratch and their coleslaw is now my favorite in the city! Thankfully, it doesn't have a thick mayo dressing, and it is seasoned perfectly. We will go back and take our 11 & 13 yr old boys. read more

Service was exceptional - we got our bartender about 7,000 steps running around between the four of us at the table and she gave us a hard time the entire day for it, with a smile. This is me & my wife's favorite bar/hangout in Lee's Summit. Great service from both Aaron & Madison. They take care of their customers and since we go there often, they know our order even before we sit down. They make great drinks & also have numerous infused liquors and draft beer options. Have trivia every Thursday, and usually a DJ on Saturday nights. Has a TouchTunes juke box that can play songs from the jukebox or your phone using the app. Great place!!! read more

Food was very good, the pulled pork sandwich had good flavor. They have several craft beers on tap and the server was helpful in pointing out new things and letting us sample a few. The 3 tacos with beef OR chicken definitely needs work. The beef is rather dry, the chicken is better but both have very small portion size. The tortillas are thin and white and very greasy. We ordered the salsa and chips to go with it because the portion size was very small even for 3 tacos. The salsa was very bland and tasteless, and the tortilla chips were not fresh at all. I would have preferred salsa from a jar which definitely has more flavor, and chips from Aldi's which are fresh. I would not order either of the tacos again because not only were they 1 star, they charge 50 cents each if you add sour cream, avacado dip, and the salsa which come in those small side ketchup size cups. So the $6 entree was $1.50 more because I added the 3 sides. Also, I tried to call twice to talk to the manager about this, but both times I was told they weren't there or were too busy even though I told them why I was calling. I tried to tell them their website does not have a Contact Us link so that is why I was calling before posting a negative review. read more
