    I would give a 0 star but anyways I'm living here the landlord lied about sending someone to reboot…read moremy power and no power for a week ...he got mad cus I keeped bothering about my power that he so claimed sent someone...bunch of bs if you ask me now he lost patient with me that I'm as to vacate the property...I don't need this asshole bs...so I'm gonna do a big favor and leave ..cus I don't need a headache over pitty shit from this asshole...I suggest go somewhere else then upsetting myself for pitty shit that a landlord should be fixing...place has roaches and mice everywhere here..even that I have no hot water in the winter time knowinglily I've seen notice for the landlord from the city of Cicero he hasn't paid the water which it is something we tentance don't pay here...but yeah I think it is best to find a better place and even if it cost me more at least I would have a better place then this place and this landlord came after the other landlord...I preferred the before landlord rather this cano property manager...last landlord retired ...but I'll missed him rather this new owner and I've been here with new landlord for 4 years my bathroom has no light also for 2yrs and has molding ...I've been going to the gym to shower there but it's embarrassing when I have people over about my bathroom...good luck to the next person ...I've also be reporting this to the city before I leave but yes ...I'm definitely will get out of here...over a light from the breaker that all he had to do rather to make this a big choas of lies he sent someone..

    Wow apparently I am living in a completely different building!…read moreI have nothing positive to say about this building at all. It is mostly a mixture of lowlife renters and a few of a hardworking people that lost all their investment when the units were auctioned off by the developer for next to nothing. Management has switched hands numerous times and unfortunately they were all pretty unreliable and useless. There have been no rules for the past two and a half years except for what whoever was in charge felt like enforcing at the moment. The parking lot looks awful and needs to be resealed and striped, the carpets are pet-urine stained, the ceilings leak in a number of units, the walls are paper thin, the freight trains are extremely loud, the parking spaces are too small, and the hallways smell of either smoke or cheap air freshner. Worst of all...nobody has respect for anyone else in the building. Good luck trying to find someone to hold a door, return a cart, or say "hello." People also leave the workout room shirtless and have stolen weights in the past. I am extremelely disappointed in the building, the people in it, and the neighborhood. The park is filthy, filled with trash, and dangerous. The constant partying in the park during the summer months leaves no parking in front of the building. I have seen men urinating on trees from my balcony window! I wish I could move but I can't. There is no resale value because the building has been run down to the ground and units auctioned off for a fraction of original prices. I am actually embarassed to say I live here. Buyer beware (if there even are any!)

Habitat developed a building, hired a horrible building manager,…read morethey put little effort in to sell units and just screwed over all the people who purchased prior to the auction. I understand the real estate market is slow but other builders put more effort to sell their current properties rather than give them away and create a bad name for themselves. Now that 20% of the building has been auctioned off, us the owners have to suffer. Try refinancing to take advantage of all-time low rates .......if you bought before the auction you will find out your unit is only worth 50% or less of what you paid. The values plummeted this low as a result of Habitat auctioning off 34 units, not because of the market conditions. Purchasing a home is the biggest investment of your life and nothing like getting kicked in the balls by Habitat auctioning off units for under $85,000. Sure anyone would give this place 5 stars if they bought it at the auction. You can't touch a modern property for under $85,000 with granite, stainless steal appliances, wood floors, etc.

    HONEST REVIEW (UPDATE 9/29/2025): Power went out AGAIN! This…read moretime while I wasn't home. I called to have the power restored as usual expecting the power to be back on within an hour or so as it had been the week prior. This time my experience was VERY different. After 2 hours, I used the text number they provide on the website asking why the power hasn't been restored. The reply was the following, "Good evening, sorry to hear about your power. Have you tried calling ComEd? We do not have the ability to restore power nor shut down power in your unit. Is this from certain outlets? If so, we can have a unit inspection and see what the issue is" My reply: "How disappointing... Actually, you do. The power is included in my rent. I'm located at ******. Normally when I call, someone restores the power." I was genuinely disappointed because I never had this issue before. They told me they would put in a work order and page maintenance. That was at 6:45 pm. My first call was at 4:57 pm. It's now 8:28 pm (and counting) and power is still out. It has been out all day and this is supposed to be an EMERGENCY service. Lord knows that if I had access to the power myself, I would have resolved the issue on my own, but I feel like I'm dealing with utter incompetence. I called again around 8:05 pm, and the woman who answered lacked customer service skills. Common things like showing empathy and LISTENING. Of course, I'm frustrated! You're going to hear it in my voice, but I won't dare take it out on an employee. The woman who answered asked how she can help. I told her my power went out and it needs to be restored. She told me the same thing the person via text told me. That was baffling because with any call I made prior to today, I never experienced this level of pushback when I told them my situation. When I responded out of frustration and told her "We've been through this before" (speaking about the company not her), she lashes out and says, "Sir, I never spoke with you!" Who trained her to speak to tenants this way? Then when I tried explaining why I'm telling her this, she talked over me and ignored everything I said. I told her the arguing is quite unnecessary. I'm frustrated with a power issue that's supposed to be treated like an emergency and the company seems to have shapeshifted into a rude and totally incompetent group of sociopaths. All I wanted was my power restored so I can not only keep the food in my refrigerator, but charge my ebike battery for work the next day, charge my phone so I can wake up for work in the morning via my alarm., and complete several tasks I need to do on my computer for my job. I don't complain. I give companies the benefit of doubt. This completely destroyed whatever faith I had in this company. Now I'm saving to move at the end of my lease. If you're an employee at Real Realty, please understand that I was one of the people rooting for you. You had me in your corner. That ended today because you seem to hire people who lack the appropriate skills to serve your tenants. LISTENING IS AT THE TOP OF THE LIST‼ Update from Google: It's 11:09 pm and my power is still out. They have paged the property manager several times apparently. I don't know what to do anymore. My anxiety is through the roof about all the adjustments I need to make in order to be successful at work tomorrow. At this point I can't even come up with words to describe what I feel. Frustrated doesn't begin to describe it.

They don't address your concerns as far as repairs, they have a maintenance man who gets upset if you have something that needs to be repaired he's very unprofessional and he gets upset and talk about you to the neighbors when you need things done in your unit how stupid! I will not be renewing my lease anymore after this they have a new office in Saul village the one lady Ms Harris she's a kid to me very rude rarely answers the phone never returns a your calls just ridiculous!!!!! The office in the city always seem to listen to your concern however they don't do anything all this place wants is your rent money they have ppl to clean the hallways but as far as clean outside I've watched them clean outside they pick up what they feel Like picking up and leave trash outside on a weekly basis! This complex has went down! The dryers and washers rarely work properly! When we contact the people listed on the machines they tell you it's a management issue the management sends the maintenance guy out to repair it they need a more professional maintenance guy who doesn't mind addressing issues because there's no need to get mad at the tenant because something went wrong in their unit. I keep a very nice clean unit and I take care of my place I've even got compliments on how well my unit is kept up but sometimes things happen and when you try to address any situation they do NOTHING! I will NEVER renew my lease here and if anyone wants to move to this complex proceed with extreme caution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
