I called them and scheduled an appointment, desperate to find a dress.... after having spent over a month going to different places... after the appointment was scheduled they were like "oh yeah, by the way our starting price point is 2,000 dollars, is that ok with you?" Yes, I've seen the show- those women dresses are not 2,000. I even said yes, knowing my price point definitely couldn't go over 2,200 (which I still think is a lot) but I didn't want to be treated like the poor girl with an actually very generous price point for the average gal. That said, I do know of a lady who found a great dress here and had a terrific experience...but this is apparently when they didn't have such a high starting price point. read more

Flo is the best!!! It was my second appointment trying on dresses and I was still figuring out what I wanted. Flo had us browse the floor and got excited with us about some of the gowns we picked. I was nervous about sizing and being able to fit into some of the gowns, but Flo was unbothered and got me into every single dress I wanted to try. I am a decisive shopper and Flo followed my lead in which dresses to show my guests and which to immediately take off. She brought in some fun styles that were a little bit off my original ask, but she encouraged just enjoying trying it on. We finally found an amazing beaded gown but it did not have the sleeves I had hoped for. Flo quickly headed to the back to ensure that the dress could have customized sleeves added and would be exactly as I had imagined. Robin was also very kind and helpful in matching a veil and helping me through the purchase process. To be honest, my expectations were not high and I was worried that the experience would feel corporate and impersonal. I could not have been more wrong! Flo and Robin made me feel so special and even gave me a bit of extra time on my appointment. PROTIP: u do not need an appt to try on BM dresses PROTIP: they have A TON of BM dresses to try on!! the lady helping us that day was SO incredibly friendly and very very helpful and patient with our dresses. me, the bride, and the mom were all trying on different dresses (and esp since i was the MOH) i was trying on many many different styles and colors of dresses for the bride and fam to look at. and each time the lady was incredibly helpful! i cannot thank her enough for such a pleasant experience. and even during the check out process with the mom she was so great and friendly!! i would definitely come here if ur looking for different types and styles and colors of dresses. theres so many!!!! veil trying on portion: it must have been that particular lady working with us, because every other assistant i saw was incredibly friendly and helpful with the other brides in the store trying on dresses. her attitude was just very cold and didnt seem to listen to what we were trying to tell her in terms of what styles we're looking for and what color the bride's dress was. then and the end we asked her to write down the names and prices of the veils we were interested in.. 10 min later, still nothing? so we just left. i really wanted to give this place 4 stars, as the customer service is impeccable besides the veil lady but it really left a sour taste in my mouth. HOWEVER, the rest of the experience made up for it and the selection really is remarkable. I highly do not recommend this bridal shop! I've been a fan of Say Yes to the Dress for years. I wasn't able to make it to the shop in New York due to my mom being sick and not being able to travel, so we came to what I thought was the next best place. I definitely regret even stepping foot into this place because it took all of the joy from my experience and basically ruined my wedding day. Once I got there I was sent to a department where none of the dresses were flattering and there wasn't a big selection at all. So I asked if there were more dresses anywhere else in the store. They let me go to another floor to shop for more dresses but of course because they were more expensive. I get to that floor and it seemed like they didn't have any one there to help me. So I started looking around for dresses myself. Finally a salesperson came to help and I told her exactly the kind of dress that I was looking for. I tried on a few until I came across one that I fell in love with. It was the first dress that I tried on and I knew it was the one. Fast forward a few months later the dress arrives and I go to pick it up. No one in the bridal shop told me that I should have tried the dress on before signing off and walking out with it. Everything was happening so fast that I had no clue. They told me to come back in a few months for alterations. So I just went home and waited. I was nervous at first to even try on the dress at home. So I might have waited a few weeks to finally try it on. And to my surprise my dress didn't fit. So I called the bridal shop to see what can be done. The salesperson that helped me pick out the dress basically told me that since I signed off on the dress there was nothing they could do but come back in a few months for alterations. I had no idea that I was even suppose to try on the dress before leaving because I was being rushed to even pay for it. I came back to look for dresses for my mother and grandmother (another mistake). We get there and the young lady that I guess was suppose to be helping us pick out dresses seemed to have no interest in helping at all. So once again we walked around and picked out the dresses ourselves. The salesperson only got interested once she found out that I'd be paying for the dresses that day (no surprise there). A few months ago I went back for alterations. The salesperson that day instead of her trying to help me into this big dress that I don't know how to put on. My cousin who came with me had to help me in it. Then she comes in and basically ruins my day even more. In a nutshell she tells me I either need to lose weight or buy another dress. Oh yea and to not get pregnant before my wedding day! What is that to even say to a plus size woman that's about to get married in a few months. I am just very frustrated and disappointed with my entire experience of this place. Now I have a $3500 dress that I can't even fit and my wedding is in 4 weeks! Please don't waste your time going to this place if you want a better experience for your perfect day. I was at Lori's last August, as I was in Atlanta presenting at a conference. I must say I am not typically one given to the romantic, whimsical or heart fluttering experience of wedding gown shopping. That said, my time at Lori's was all that and more. "I said yes to the dress" with the help of my capable consultant and the charming, helpful, pleasant manager, Robin. As fate would have it my hotel mistakenly put a sizable hold on my credit card, making it impossible for me to order my gown that day and unfortunately my father died shortly thereafter so we postponed our wedding. I am writing after a year because I haven't forgotten about "my gown" but, more importantly because I have not forgotten nor been able to replicate that magical shopping experience at Lori's place. The physical space was pleasing. Everyone was warm, friendly and helpful. The prices were typical of a special occasion purchase and the region. If you will be in Atlanta or are willing to travel there, I highly recommend Bridals by Lori. Too bad there wasn't a lower star. This was the WORST experience I ever had. My consultant, Grace, was great, but Lori herself was a B****! My mom was working when I tried on the dress so I wanted to send her a picture, and Lori would not let me until I paid for the dress. WELL, I was trying to get a picture of the dress BEFORE I PAID FOR IT! She told my mom to get on skype. I told her that my mom is a hospital pharmacist and cannot just hop on skype while at work. She said, "That's too bad". She also told me I was too tall for the dress. That's right, not that the dress was too short, but that I AM TOO TALL (I am 5'10") She said I need to add 5 inches of fabric, which would cost around $400-600. My sister was shocked and proclaimed, "WHAT?!" and she turned around and said, "We don't make money off our alterations, so I'm not trying to scam you." Well, why would you offer it at such outrageous prices if you don't make money off of it?? They tried to pressure me into buying and my mom wasn't there, and Lori could care less. Don't come here unless you're wanting to spend $3k+ on your dress. We didn't have a budget high enough to shop on the actual wedding dress floor, and we were instead sent to the basement to shop from retired samples (this was not communicated to me when I made the appointment). When we got there, the stylist showed me the one rack I could shop from, and every dress was fitted, covered in lace, and yellowed. My stylist did not help me pick out dresses, put the dresses on, or even help me find anything I liked after everything went south. She even asked me the same questions multiple times and did not listen to a word i said about my wedding, fiancé, or dresses I liked. This was my first ever bridal appointment and we ran out of there as fast as we could. I was truly disappointed in both the selection and my uninterested stylist. Do NOT come here when the television cameras aren't rolling, or if you are not a bride. I went to Bridals by Lori back in March searching for a prom dress. The service resembled nothing of what I had seen on TLC: the women meant to be helping me search for a prom dress were unenthusiastic, unattentive, and altogether discouraging. Many of them were instead chatting with other employees, acting as though I didn't exist when I emerged from the dressing room. I must note that the one who appeared to be in charge of assisting me was extremely rude, dismissive, and wore an unpleasant countenance throughout the entire ordeal. When my mother mentioned that I would like my dress to match the shoes I planned to wear, her response was that that was unimportant, since "the shoes won't show anyway--they don't matter". I believe that prom dress shopping should be a fun and enjoyable experience for every young woman. These employees left me feeling as though I had wasted my time visiting the shop. Even if I had found a dress that I liked (there were hardly any left in my size), I wouldn't have spent a penny there. I found cheaper, more beautiful dresses with employees that are far more polite and serviceable at other stores. I do not recommend Bridals by Lori as a last resort for prom dress shopping--I do not recommend it as any sort of resort, period. Save your money and your time, and avoid this store. read more

I felt the customer service could have been so much better considering we were the only ones in the store. When we started the bridal appointment the women showed the dress room and said pick what you want and hang it here and disappeared. We could not tell what Silhouette was what nothing about this appointment was ok. We ended it literally 10 minutes after it started and were standing out searching for the consultant and could not find them. We stopped on the bridesmaid floor and met another unpleasant consultant that was very short no pleasantry in her voice just very unwelcoming. My dress budget was 3k-4K if was extremely in love and also wanted to have the experience that was "so falsely" portrayed on the TV Show. We went to impressions bridal in Kennesaw prior and when I say the service was 10 star it was beyond amazing!! You all can take some customer service tips from them. They have taken down my review on FB and blocked me from their page. Their customer service is abysmal and they are a shame compared to the other hundreds of bridal salons around GA and SC. I could not caution you enough to stay as far away from this place as possible. I bought a dress in February 2020. They did not keep me abreast during the pandemic as I would expect. I had to call every 3 or 4 weeks to get an update on my dress, and was not given a delayed delivery date until August (it was scheduled to arrive in September). It went from being almost done and me being unable to add a monogram (June) to them having no idea the progress on the dress (August). After spending almost $5,000 on a dress plus accessories, you can definitely be see that you are just a number to this business and your needs do not matter. Every customer service call after your initial purchase will be met with hostile employees, namely the manager, Robin. You will not be able to speak to Lori about any of these issues, as she does not communicate with customers (I was told this on numerous occasions, even though she was at and involved with my intial appointment).Give a small boutique your business instead of this incredibly greedy company. After receiving my dress and accessories last week, I would encourage you even more to shop elsewhere. My dress looks and feels very rushed and cheap-- not like the luxe sample I tried on in the store. The earrings came on cheap paper backing and weight less than 1 oz (they were $330). I was directed to Megan, who would be my personal shopper for my appointment and once I described what I was looking for and the budget that I was working with, she immediately went to work. And who should pop out but MONTE AND LORI! Oh my goodness! Honestly, I thought they just had roles for the #SYTTD show but there they were! They were every bit as helpful and as encouraging as one could hope. They spoke with my family (who accompanied me) and with their attending to my wants and needs, I was able to SAY YES TO THE DRESS. Went to bridals by Lori with my mom and sister, the store is beautiful and the dresses are too. Our consultant, Brooke, was FANTASTIC! She laughed with us, understood my style needs, was very supportive. She never pushed us to buy something. My dress was the second one I tried on, but since this was our first stop, she wrote everything up and said to call if we decided to purchase the gown- they just needed about 30 minutes notice. After a horrible trip to 2 other salons we came back the next day. Brooke had my dress ready, urged us to take pictures and suggested a picture of all of us together to remember the moment. Lori came measured me- still no high pressure pitches to add on to the order- suggested the size and completed the transaction. Since my last review was deleted by Bridals by Lori, I will just add a short statement as I'm sure this too will be take down. Do not use this bridal salon. Their Customer Service is the worst. They do not care about their brides- only making the sale. We ordered a dress 2/7/20 so we would have time for any alterations for portraits that were scheduled in October. The dress was supposed to arrive in June. We were the ones that had to call THEM for updates and each time we were told there was no expected date but that it would be here for the wedding which is May 8, 2021. Which is 1 YEAR AND 3 MONTHS after the order. ???? You can't convince me that this order could not have been cancelled back in July when issues started appearing that indicates things were not as they seemed with the order. The dress just came in a month after the portraits. The bride had to go find another dress to eliminate the stress of worrying about the situation and to be able to do her portraits at the time of year that was important to her. Plus because of all the negativity and hurt feelings connected to the dress we no longer had a heart for it. The order at Lori's was a $5500 order. It included the dress,veil, belt, and earrings. They had no interest in helping us out in any way. They refused to let us ever speak with the owner Lori. All they ever would say is they do no returns or refunds. If they had shown any empathy or compassion at any point instead of cold genetic policy statement responses, it may have made a difference in how we feel about the situation. Refund was not the main intent. We would have been more than happy with a credit towards another dress or even consigning the dress with them in order to reclaim at least something from the finances. Which would have given them an even greater profit. Even though the belt and earrings were standard in stock items they refused to refund those back as well. Such a huge disappointment in a store that I had always hoped to visit and have interaction and a sale through. Shame on this business. They show compassionate and loving scenes for their brides on their TV episodes. This is not the case with their local real life brides. Too bad fame and fortune have take over good customer service. We were super excited to think we were able to have had such a fun and happy experience going into the store and interacting with a fun dress experience. I can't enjoy the Atlanta edition of "Say Yes to the Dress" anymore now that my friend's daughter has done business with Bridals by Lori. While the dress she procured is beautiful, and she will be a stunning bride in it, the customer service at Bridals by Lori is non-existent and made what should be the magical experience of selecting and receiving THE DRESS stressful and disappointing. Although her dress and veil came to nearly $9,000, my friend's daughter was treated like a "low-end" client from the start. We had to help her find and pull dresses in the store instead of being waited on. We were admonished for bringing champagne with tsk-tsking snobbery (never mind the 6 other bridal shops we visited in ATL and Charlotte were happy to celebrate with us. All that aside, she purchased her dress and then the nightmare really kicked in. She travels extensively for her job but was told the shop is very busy and she would have to accommodate her schedule to theirs for the fitting. During the first fitting, pins and a hole were discovered in the dress, and she was told it was too late to return it for a new one (keep in mind that the fitting was later because they just couldn't fit her in earlier). A workaround was found to cover up the hole, and although they asked for compensation to make up for receiving damaged goods, that was refused plus she has to pay nearly $600 for minor alterations. At the second fitting a SECOND hole was discovered. There was no work-around to fix it and they had to pay in full for the dress. When they asked to speak with Lori for some kind of discount because of the damaged dress, they were told no one can talk to Lori, you can only talk to a manager. When they talked to customer service they were assured the shop would do the right thing. The result? They were told the designer would give them $300 (on a $9k purchase). And keep in mind that's from the designer. Bridals by Lori offered $0. The manager over the experience actually yelled at and insulted my friend on a call she made to rectify the situation, and accused my friend of being a liar. The fact that other reviews here echo similar experiences shows this encounter is not unique to my friend. I hate that my friend's daughter went through this, but grateful that I know which shop to absolutely avoid for my own 2 daughters' weddings. No customer service and snobbery combined are not my idea of a delightful experience. read more

Bridals by Lori was the one appointment I should have cancelled! I was lied to from my first visit until I brought my dress home 9 days before my wedding. After trying a dress on that was the style I NEVER wanted, I fell in love with the beautiful lace, tiny details, and how the natural waist fit my 5' tall body as a soft-dropped waist. I will admit, I fell for their sales tactics. If you buy your dress on your 1st visit you receive a % off. I was told the sample was "just in" and "no one has tried it," and finally I was told for an extra $100 they would make the dress fit my body to help prevent some additional alterations. When we purchased the dress, Flo told me we had to order a size up, that the sample I tried on was stretched out, and she assured me the dress would fit me perfectly and she would make sure she was there for my 1st alteration appointment. When my dress came in I was horrified to see: how short the bodice was; the boning was showing through the lace of the front bodice; the cups were HUGE compared to my B cup breasts; and finally the sweetheart neck line fabric was caught and folded in the seems, eliminating the sweetheart cut. The truly frustrating part of this appointment was the 30 mins I had to listen to Flo telling me that I was wrong, the bodice that was missing 3 buttons compared to the sample was only a "1/2 inch shorter." Finally, after 30 mins of insisting that it was not the dress I tried on, I put on the sample & it took Flo getting her manager to finally be able to say it is not the same dress. They assured me they would fix the dress by sending it back to the designer (in Italy) and "not to worry"(This was 8/15/18!) After following up with them on 9/18, I finally found out my dress was in. The alterations department was no help at all. When I expressed my concerns with the dress's fit, their response was "every bride has that problem." My question during this appointment was "Where is Flo? Or her manager?" Wouldn't they want to make sure their customer's experience is nothing short of satisfactory? I mean, my mom had more knowledge than the seamstresses. Needless to say my hopes and feelings about my dress did not improve after this appointment. When I finally received my dress on 10/4 (wedding on 10/13!) the boning was sticking out of the neck line and the alterations manager decided it was a good idea to just snip the boning vs filing and reinforcing the seam like the seamstress wanted to do. Their solution for the giant cup size was to add 2 layers of cups that made my B cups look like D's and look unnatural on my body. The final reason I despised my dress and wish I could go back in time & cancel my appointment is that the boning stabbed me to the point I had open wounds all around my waistline on my wedding day! The seamstress claims to have fixed it but a month later I still have marks! The only positive thing that came out of my Bridal by Lori experience is when I realized I could never be married in that dress and I would use my mom's 50 yr old dress, tear in the sleeve and all. Even though I knew I could only wear it for the ceremony, this was the best decision I could have made. Wearing my mom's wedding dress allowed me to seize my day! I can never imagine getting married in that awful garment I have to claim as my "wedding dress." I had such an amazing experience here and highly recommend! I had visited 2 bridals shops before coming here (I knew 2 people who purchased their wedding dresses here so I thought I'd try it out). Flo was my consultant and she knows what she's doing. I gave her a description of what I was looking for and then I was able to walk around the store to pick out dresses I liked. Flo had pulled a couple dresses that fit my description which she really seemed to understand. There was one type of dress style that my dad wanted me to try and Flo knew exactly what to pull and it ended up being the dress! The other staff members were very friendly and after I said yes to the dress, another staff member came to took my measurements and finalize the order. Wow I have never had such a horrendous experience as the one I had at Bridals by Lori. I experienced bad service from Marta and a manager named Flo. I got my dress and veil there (I spent a substantial amount of money so you think they would care about providing a professional service). My experience in store was not even close to good. I was pulling my own dresses with my friends, trying them on without Marta, the sales associate. Marta was very pushy and obnoxious but I really loved this particular dress. My fiends can attest to how rude and unprofessional she was. She specifically told me there was no way I wore the bra size I told her I wore. I go to professional school out of state so i had the dress shipped to my parents house close to the wedding location. When I came home for my dress fitting my worst nightmare was confirmed- my dress did not fit. I was panicked! We looked at pictures of the dress I had tried on in store and the dress that I had received and the cup size was clearly WRONG. I called Bridals by Lori and spoke to Flo. She did not apologize or assure me that the right thing would be done. She just said we will call you back on Monday. She asked me to get remeasured at a bridal store and sure enough my measurements were the same as the measurements they had taken in store. I think I had actually lost an inch in my hips- everything else was the same. I kept calling the store because I wanted to get this resolved ASAP. Flo kept pushing me off saying there was no one working in the shipping department so they could not send me a label yet. I was only home for a few days and I needed to figure this out that day. My wedding was in less than 3 months. Flo even asked me if there is any way my bust size had changed multiple sizes up aka did I get a breast augmentation... NO! I am busty to begin with and I told bridals by lori my dress and bra size when they originally measured me. I was tired of being pushed aside so i demanded refund. I told Flo this was not the dress I envisioned getting married in. It looked terrible on me and I did not have confidence Bridals by Lori could fix it on time. I did not trust them. After again being pushed aside they agreed to let me return it thank goodness. I shipped the dress to bridals by lori with my veil because I had purchased the dress and veil together (details on the veil matched the dress). Flo called me a few days after the dress had been returned (I was actually on my Bachelorette trip). She told me that the sample was exactly the same as the dress I returned (I thought this was strange because the dress I purchased was a size 12 and the dress that fit me like a glove in store was a size 10). She made me feel horrible on the phone! I asked her what the point of this phone call was? She kept going on saying they had someone try on my size 12 dress and the dress ins tore and said they were the same. But if my measurements stayed the same then how is that possible? I had not gained any weight or changed at all. I was not sure why Flo was calking me. Was I going to get my money back or not? I told her she was making me feel badly and I was on my Bachelorette trip. She said oh ok then and hung up- no good bye no nothing. I called back enraged! Of course I was reconnected to her and I asked to speak to another manager. She called me rude and disrespectful. I was on hold for about 10 minutes. I spoke to a manager named Megan who was very nice and she processed my refund. I began to cry because I was so stressed out and upset by the treatment. Megan said that they would not refund me for the veil because there was nothing wrong with it- the veil was $1500. My friends and bridesmaids saw I was crying and I told them everything and they were outraged. My sister called and spoke to Flo. She told Flo that she had made me cry. Flow mimicked her, spoke with a major attitude and hung up. I have never experienced this sort of treatment. It was a nightmare! NEVER GO HERE! AWFUL AWFUL place. Basically walked in and stood there for about 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged our presence. We had appointments, the girl couldn't find them (but eventually did) and then walked away...leaving us to wonder if we were even going to be helped. On top of that a film crew was there filming something, and I asked one of the employees "What is being filmed?". She replied "A Show". OBVI! Bridals by Lori might as well have been run and operated by TSA or the DMV. We left without even trying anything on. read more

This review got 1 star only because you have to rate it to post your review. If I could give this place Negative Zero Stars I most certainly would! First off let me start by saying that you would think that a business that is suppose to be so reputable would take their employees thru customer service training. They are some of the rudest, pushiest deceitful bunch of humans I've ever had to deal with or give my hard earned money to!! With the exception of Melanie or Melody can't remember if it was either or. The office manager Robin had the nastiest attitude and rudest disposition I've ever encountered, I wouldn't buy my dog suit from this place and would not suggest anyone else give them their business as it will clearly not be appreciated!!! First of all I gave these money grubbers over $5000 of my hard earned money and business in their pockets only to be treated like some peasant! I ordered my wedding dress via them which they insisted I needed to buy that day and deceived me into believing it would take 2 to 3 months to ship and so it was imperative that I paid that day and pay the extra expediting fees to ensure it arrived in time for alterations before my wedding. And while I wasn't dead set on the gown Ive never been a bride before and was not completely aware of all of the ordering process and things of that nature so with that being said I trusted what I thought were the professionals and went against my better judgement to keep looking and ordered the gown plus paid the expediting fees so that that was not one more thing I had to stress about! Well wouldn't you know this very exclusive gown that would take so much time to ship to me was miraculously received in their store a mere 2 weeks later actually not even a full two weeks I ordered 4/17/21 dress was in store by 4/30/22 !!!! You mean to tell me all of that and an extra $250 for it to already be here and my wedding isn't until September??? That was deceit #1!! I would have gladly spent my money and took my business elsewhere had I not been made to believe I didn't have the time to do so!! Secondly I couldn't even enjoy shopping for my dress with these people because they were so aggressive and pushy with their sales approach I felt as though I was bullied into buying a gown from them ! I tried on a beautiful gown with a beautiful veil suggested by one of the other ladies on the bridal floor with whom I might add provided more assistance and was more helpful than the rep that was appointed to assist me to begin with! So at last although I really wanted to shop around and explore my options I went ahead and agreed to the dress and the veil ok now it came down to talking money, Again I'm new to this so I don't know the processes and was not prepared to pay the BIF for the dress that day because I really had no intentions on saying Yes to the first dress I tried on. Again I felt bullied by their aggressive approach in saying that because the dress was limited stock and shipping times it had to absolutely be PIF that day in order to pull the order from stock. I worked with Melanie I'm sorry her name could be Melody who assured me that I could make a deposit via check for 60% of the amount of the balance and PIF the remaining via their customer portal by that next Wednesday or Thursday when I would have the rest of the funds available as this was a Saturday. Great however I didn't have my check book on me and had to go all the way home to get it and make it back in to their store, in Atlanta traffic before they closed at 6 or there was no guarantee I would get the dress in time !! - More Pressure! So I get back before closing with my check book and finally sit down to sign a contract .... Yes a contract that they made me sign stating that because the recommended size to order was not available and all that was available was the same size as the sample size I tried on but that would be a tighter fit because the sample gown had been stretched due to multiple try ons, I was told I had to sign a contract stating I would not gain more weight as well as the deposit I paid down could not be refunded if either I chose not to order the gown or it wasn't available by the time I had the funds to pay the rest .... More aggression ensuring that my money was spent with them that day no if ands or buts. We begin going over the figures and to my surprise the figures I was presented with did not include the price of the beautiful veil that I tried on and had already advised that I would like to purchase as well when my "total" was given to me on a hand written card before I left to get my check book. read more

I don't EVER write reviews, but I made sure to go out of my way and write this one. Truly disappointing. From the beginning, when a pregnant girlfriend of mine was nice enough to set an appointment for my first time wedding dress shopping, she received attitude from whomever the reception is/was. While I understand that you need provide certain information to the client prior to setting an appointment, you should do it with a friendly tone and not with a tone that puts you higher on a pedestal than you really are. We had already finished two stores and decided to go only because it was close by and we were "curious." I am assuming the person that greeted us or should I say didn't greet us, is the one that picks up the phone and sets the appointment. Retire or find a new calling in life because customer service is not it. Sure the store is appealing because they direct you to the "third floor" and you walk into a stage with lights, but all of the dresses are in bags which makes it harder to find one. We were told to pick dresses and hang them in our designated corner and our consultant would be right with us. The last two stores I went to pulled the dresses for me as well as helped me get into them. Our consultant took the dress out of the bag and handed it to me. There was a robe hanging in the room which I assume I could use, but she didn't mention anything so I left it alone. The other places gave me a robe and handed it to me in between fittings. She told me she didn't know the style of one of the dresses I tried on, but yet she has been there for four years. One of my bridesmaids asked about the sleeve of the dress and the consultant said that we might have to use DOUBLE SIDED TAPE. ON A 5000 DRESS?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. It was really unfortunate because she was a beautiful woman. I am not going to put her name on this review because I am not angry just disappointed. Maybe her personality is monotone and inexpressive, but if you are trying to sell a dress and help someone enjoy an exciting time in their life as you did, you might want to be somewhat of a jovial person. I don't care if I found the dress of my dreams there. I would not buy it. Having to go back to alterations would be like pulling teeth because I would hate to walk into the place again. I've been to Bridals by Lori several times shopping for other friends. When it came my turn, I was looking forward to taking advantage of their large selection. Although I think they used to carry lots of dresses in the under $2000 range, they sure don't anymore and they seemed a little rude when I told them my price. My consultant was 30 minutes late for my appointment. And when I didn't choose many dresses to try on and i told her it was because I had found one just a couple of hours earlier that I thought might be the right dress for me, she became even more short with me and told me there was no way it was real silk in that price range - but then backhandedly said that I would be the only one to know. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses and we came all the way from Connecticut and California to come here since we have watched Say Yes to the Dress my whole life. After the first 5 dresses were hard no's, I thought we better start finding other places to shop at because we just were not finding anything I liked even enough to consider. But Flo was on it. She would know and understand everything I liked and didn't like about the dress I had on and go and pull another. Not once did she seem discouraged and for that I am forever thankful. I had an amazing experience here last week. I had a very particular style in mind (ballgown) and they were so great in helping me find one. My consultant (Chawncia) never tried to convince me to try other styles because I clearly knew what I wanted and I appreciated that so much! Both her and Robin made trying on dresses fun and non stressful. Once I found my dress they were awesome in helping pick out a veil and also finding out what little changes the designer was willing to make. They were able to text the designer right then and there to find out if the train could be extended or not (it could!). I can't wait to go back for alterations in a few months! read more

I couldn't recommend Bridals by Lori enough. The whole scheduling process was so organized, which I love, and they sent multiple reminders of the appointment. Every staff member greeted us warmly. Our bridal consultant, Flo, was AMAZING! She got me into dresses so fast that my family was super impressed! She made me feel great about my body, listened to what I wanted in a gown, and also discouraged me from trying on dresses over my budget (which I really respect and think is so important). Lori was kind and gave very good opinions/reviews on my top two dresses. The store had a huge selection that fit many body types and budgets. The check out process was easy and also very organized.
