A great diverse menu and super cute aesthetic. Friendly staff. Love that they have the clothing swaps too.

Matcha was good, not coffee was lacking flavor, and despite them running out of ice they still charged us the full price for coffee.

Smart aleck waitresses. Food price was way sky high for what you get. They shut down and I won't miss them.

A spacious and quiet cafe very close to the library. I was already severely caffeinated so I got a sumac lemonade instead. Was really good!

Love this community centered neighborhood cafe. Welcoming to all and inclusive. If you can't pay you can use a prepaid sleeve.

Finally tried out the legendary Ann Arbor staple after hearing about it for a long while, and let…read moreme summarize it quickly -- the bagels live up to the hype! One clarifying note -- this location is now a small pickup only spot, there are no seating options inside the store. I believe the photos on the page that show seats are from a prior location. Back to the good stuff, the bagels! We picked up bagel sandwiches on jalapeño bagels one morning and I kid you not when I say these were some of the best bagels I've ever had. I will certainly be back for more! We also tried out the legendary Fragel -- it's definitely an interesting taste and more of a dessert option, but still worth a try. For me, I'll probably stick to a donut if I want something sweet in the morning, but options are always nice. Overall, good food, good service, and solid prices! I'd recommend MD Bagel Fragel for sure

My family and I came here to buy some fragel bagels. They are amazing. They are soft on the inside…read moreand crisp on the outside. The bagel is dusted in sweet sugar and it is warm. There are some raisins in the bagels but I don't really taste them which is great for me. I am not a big fan of raisins. It is messy to eat and there is no seating inside. Be prepared to eat outside of your car and get a little sticky. The staff are young, sweet, and quick. Parking is free and out front but no shade. If you're in the area and don't mind eating messy, you should come here.

Excited to see another NY based restaurant coming to Ann Arbor. Located right across the street…read morefrom another NY based restaurant Joe's pizza. I came in ordered right away and had to wait about ten minutes while there was still a small line waiting for their order. If I had to come back, I recommend putting an app or online order and giving yourself at least 15 minutes for pick up. This place was moderately busy and had to wait quite a bit. The layout is a bit awkward they only have window seating which is another reason I would just pick up your order and go, not a lot of room to eat inside. Also as soon as you walk in you hit the pick up window and have to make your way through a bunch of people before getting to the ordering line. Being from NY, I had to try their Reuben called a Rick's Reuben on a Black Russian bagel which is like a rye pumpernickel bagel. The bagel was solid the sandwich is just ok for 13-14 dollars only put in one slice of corn beef, the maize n blue deli across the street offers better sandwiches at a better value. I would come back for their bagel and cream cheeses, but avoid ordering in house and pass on their deli sandwiches

Sometimes there's a lot of cream cheese on a bagel, sometime not even an ounce... The bagels have gotten roughly 1/3 smaller since opening, what's up with that? At $7+ tax and tip for a bagel with cream cheese, Bo's, you have to be more consistent!! Their ice-T tastes like burnt coffee for some reason. If the owner is there, the quality is decent and the bagels are made better, but very different than when the owner is not there. ...the quality has been really bad last three times... and the owner was nowhere to be seen. Like it's two different bagel spots... Won't be back for at least 6 months. Hopefully it's better next time.

I hadn't been inside in a minute but Barry's has had a bit of glow up! Inside it's gotten a refresh…read moreon the look and I think they've also streamlined the behind the counter to make it more efficient and easier for multiple staff people to be taking orders at a time. I ordered a couple of sandwiches, a half dozen bagels, and a tub of cream cheese, and while I waited I watched all the staff make intentional and efficient movements around their respective stations and the other areas as needed (toasters, microwaves, spread stations, etc). I was also able to stick with my clerk (instead of placing an order and walking away to the end to wait) so I was able to make sure everything in my large order was accurate. It was! For my sandwich I got the Farmer's Eggel for the first time (scrambled eggs with diced peppers and onions along with a sausage patty and American cheese on a plain bagel) which was good and filling for just under $7. Check out at the register is easy and I highly recommend signing up for rewards on their website if you're a frequent flyer. Today I got a $5 reward towards to my order!

I would take off a star because I would order online half an hour to 45 minute in advance (sometimes just a bagel) and when I would get there it still wasn't ready. Twice I was told the time was at 9am (even if I placed the order 8-815am which was ridiculous as getting in line would get me my food faster than ordering online!) once the lady told me to come back in half an hour. I was not impressed with the customer service those times.
