Got sfgoliatelli, cannoli and macaroni. Everything was good but perhaps just a little closing lymphoma sweet which overpowered the natural cream and vanilla flavors a bit.

    If disappointment was a pastry.

So disappointed! If you're going through the trouble of baking something like a lobster tail, at least make your own filling. The canned Bavarian cream ruined them. It ruined the eclairs as well. We also got a Dubai brownie. The topping tasted like peanut butter, so my husband didn't like it and I felt that the brownie was bitter. I ate the top and he ate the bottom. Literally everything else went to the chickens.

I'd already been a big fan of Luca Pastry's Canton location so I was very excited to see they were opening here in Ann Arbor! I finally had the occasion to visit this past weekend when getting a birthday cake for my mom. I easily placed my cake order online (lemon raspberry) and added in the cannoli dip to bring to the celebratory dinner as well. When I arrived the next morning I was impressed with their newly opened space. It's big and spacious for a bakery and the "build your own" cannoli bar was so fun! They kindly asked me if I had wanted them to write anything on the cake. I thought about it and realized a lovely happy birthday message would be great and they quickly wrote it out. While I waited for that I drooled over all the delicious looking pastries and cake slices available and ultimately grabbed myself an eclair to go (it's kind of like a breakfast donut, right?) and they packed up my cake and cannoli dip and I was quickly on my way. The eclair was delicious. Everyone raved about the cake, and OMG the cannoli dip was a HUGE hit. It's so simple but so brilliant. Just a box of their cannoli shell chips and a container of their ricotta chocolate chip filling. We put it out with the appetizers and most everyone with for that over the fancy meats and cheeses also available. It'll be hard not get that every time I visit in the future! Already plotting my next run there to try even more (and get one of those lobster tails I love so much that I had from the Canton location).

Serious the best (and happiest looking) cupcake ever!

Holy Cannoli! Luca Pasty has opened an Ann Arbor location and this surely cannot be good for my waistline, but its presence is almost certainly going to add to the celebratory mood and deliciousness of any and every occasion. This place is soooo good! Luca Pastry is a dessert shop with slant towards Italian specialties, including their oh-so-delicious and delicately made cannoli. Other offerings include whole cakes, slices of cake, cupcakes, macarons, and cookies. The cake slices and cupcakes are so beautifully decorated that each looks like a celebration for your eyes and mouth. I cannot wait to visit frequently to mark special occasions - you know, like birthdays, anniversaries, the random Tuesday...

Luca Pastry just opened a new location in Ann Arbor. They have a wide array of desserts, including macarons, cakes (available whole and by the slice), cookies, and a cannoli bar. The speciality cannoli come in a wide variety of flavors, and I'm glad to have an option for Italian-style desserts in the area now. I tried the cannoli cake ($4/slice) and the tiramisu ($4/slice). The cannoli cake was very sweet and rich, especially the ricotta cannoli filling inside, and tasted artificial---it honestly reminded me of grocery store cake. I preferred the tiramisu, which had a good amount of coffee and was not as sweet as the cannoli cake. Their other desserts may also be better than the cannoli cake, and I'm planning to try more of their products. They're currently open Monday--Saturday 10 a.m.--8 p.m., and 10 a.m.--4 p.m. on Sunday.

Awesome place! Luca Pastry has a few different locations in the metro Detroit area! Wanted to check out this place for my Easter celebration! Wow! The cake was fantastic! Friendly service and was not too busy, parking around and about! I highly recommend and it is fun to just go in and look at what they have!

I had the strawberry and bubble cupcakes today! They were super delicious and moist and gorgeous. The bubble cupcake had a nice mousse and cream inside with a hard chocolate shell covering in the strawberry cupcake had a nice strawberry jam inside. They were both very delicious.

Great cakes! Had most of our family's summer party cakes done here. Wide variety of choices. Thanks!

There's plenty of parking but it does get quite busy on Saturday morning/noon. The place is pretty narrow and small. The offerings are nice but there were not many flaky pastries. I'm used to the huge glass case varieties from Tous les jours or Paris Baguette and love the flaky pastries or novelties the best! Yoon's was bread and bun heavy and their prices overall were higher (if you can believe it!). I did try this Cloud cake $6.50 that was out of this world good but the strawberry jam part was too sweet. The hazelnut cream sandwich loaf (3 small servings) was so beans good with my favorite type of cream that only Asian bakeries can get right! My only complaint is more cream, please!

I saw an ad for a Grain Latte (mi-su-ga-ru) and was so curious how it would taste. I haven't noticed it anywhere else (other Korean bakeries), so had to make a trip just for the drink, along with their other goodies. Omg, from the first sip, I was transported back to my childhood. I used to drink the multigrain drink that would come in powder form. But this drink was elevated by the espresso. What a perfect combo! Now this latte isn't sweet, so if you are looking for sweet, this won't be the drink for you. I had my hubs try it out and said he could taste espresso with an aftertaste of the grains- not something he would order, himself. But I'm definitely going to! He ordered the pistachio latte and I could tell it's very different from other ps's I've had from Monday Coffee Club or from Yemeni coffee houses. It definitely has that light, Korean, nutty taste that isn't strong. The baked goodie, I'm happy to say, has expanded and they offer so much more than they did since my last review. They've added a few nice tables and chairs, so you don't have to leave to enjoy your pastries or coffee, unless there's no spots. Highly recommend Y if you enjoy desserts that's not too sweet.

My mom, sister, and I shared the Pistachio Raspberry Tart, Lemon Tart, and Plateau Chocolat, and we enjoyed them all. The two tarts were our favorites! The Plateau Chocolat is very rich. We ordered the Sesame Feta croissant, Ham and Asiago croissant, and Berry Delicious for the next morning and they bagged them for us. We were so bummed the next morning when we opened the bag and the Ham and Asiago croissant was missing because we wanted to try it. We still loved the other croissants and we'll be back the next time we're in Michigan!
