The beach is right across the street from the field though (walkable and the friendly people working here might even be able to give you a lift). No instrument approaches or fuel and the strip is on the shorter side (2500ft or so) so triple checking your landing distances on hot days. Hard to beat the beauty of a beach across the street though so it's worth a visit!

We went to the bar/lounge afterwards and had a few drinks by that fireplace. So nice and relaxing. Staff was always welcoming and all drinks and food were good. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. That's all you can ask for! My only complaint was when we were checking out I wanted to make sure our bill was correct and wanted to speak with someone. With Sunday brunch going on upstairs there was no one at the front desk for almost 15 minutes. During the time I was waiting two other people came behind me to wait as well. The front desk person who came back was quick and friendly to get us checked out but for the price I would think someone would be there at all times? We can't wait to come back to Barons Cove soon!!

Room to Improve: 1) Inflexible 4:00PM check-in. They emailed to ask when we'd arrive beforehand; I said 2:00 and would appreciate an early check-in, they said to wait and will text me when room was ready. Actually we had to wait outside in the heat or in the crowded lounge until 4:30PM, no early check-ins for anyone (there were other guests waiting with us). We would have walked into town for lunch had we known this. 2) Free coffee but no included food for breakfast, which is only served in their upstairs restaurant at extra charge. At BC's price point they could have offered a few complementary pastries, as is done at many cheaper venues. 3) The a/c in our room was old, noisy, had no remote and didn't work well. Musty smell in room. 4) Lunch served outside only in all kinds of weather, insufficient umbrellas to provide shade on hot day. (Pls see separate review for their restaurant). All in all our stay at Barons Cove was pretty good, but felt their oldish amenities didn't warrant high room rates plus puzzling "resort fees."

We stayed for 2 days and were always on the go so it was perfect for us. We just came to shower and freshen up but dies its purpose. It's one block away from the beach and located right in town near everything pretty much. I would def stay here again if we came back and highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a room that's not over priced like a lot of other places on Montauk. The rooms can use a lil renovations but that's every hotel on Montauk unless your staying some where fancy. Overall had a good time and highly recommend this hotel. The pool is indoors here which also makes this a perfect off season pick - we came in May when it was still a bit cool out, but the pool being indoors meant it was still a great pool day. Included in your stay is beach chair and umbrella service, but it was too chilly out for us to take advantage of that. We did enjoy sitting out on the lounge chairs on the beachfront deck they have here. The rooms we stayed in did have pretty big cracks under the doors which felt a little sketchy, and my mom's shower wasn't working properly. They would have moved us but we were already settled in when we noticed. Overall, great location, beachfront, amenities abound. Pros outweigh the cons for me.

He made a pitstop at a gas station bathroom claiming he had to use eyedrops! People were beeping and honking at us as we constantly swerved in front of them. It was so bad my father-in-law offered to drive. We were actually frightened. While our return transfer was much better, neither driver offered to help my elderly in laws with their luggage in and out of the car. They were both tipped extra anyway. When we returned home from our trip and I called the limo service to complain, the owner swore to me that she would issue a refund right away. She not only didn't issue the refund but she overcharged me on both trips. I previously called to question the amount and had to leave a message. No one called me back. I was charged over $900 for round-trip transportation to the airport that actually endangered our lives! Never using this company again!!
