The 40 CLINICAL HOURS are required to apply for your license and i NEVER stepped foot into a clinic the entire week that my externship was scheduled. Hands on clinical experience was promised and required when I paid for this program and I was scammed out of it and I can't apply for my license now. Meaning i can't apply for jobs and make a living now. Im at the point of getting my lawyer involved because it's unacceptable and unprofessional how things are handled. Ive been trying to remedy this issue and i was told by a student service representative, "oh well, thats how we do things here." Im definitely not recommending anyone else train here. Literally apply and pay for any other training program. ​

Everyone that had an externship they all had the same problem , job hunting is very difficult since you had no externship experience. The course is So Expensive , but they pay these places to have interns and not teach us anything. If I knew about it I wouldn't have wasted my money. I wanted to be assigned to another Externship and they did not care for it at all since they sign my papers. I just wanted more hands on experience.

(I arrived at the studio with a missed call from Christina, the assistant 11-mins before class was to begin, refer to photos) B) Upon speaking to Christina and hearing the voicemail, I discovered it is NOT in-person/On-camera but via ZOOM. Yes, I found out Billy was to conduct class from Florida. Additionally, I signed up for this class because of the in-person/on-camera pitch you get on the website. C) NOWHERE on the website, in texts and the emails I received, did it indicate class was via ZOOM (refer to photos)? Instead, all messages received regarding my class audit direct me to a physical location (refer to photos). After being reminded of a friend I knew with no car, who would take the bus to acting class after waiting tables all day, I almost cried. I would've been crushed if this had happened to him. WCI, please do actors a favor and update your website; it can help someone avoid unnecessary drama, wasted time, and gas. Being courteous and professional goes a long way. FYI, I recently booked several films (2 shorts and a feature) and sought a studio that could help me develop my craft; incredibly disappointed. But the guy that has made me a better actress and, more importantly, gets me BOOKED is Billy Cowart. He is the coach that I trust because I SEE the results from working with him! So thankful that I have found this gem. Right now I coach with Billy privately for TV and film auditions but I used to go to his class and highly recommend. He was going to go to San Diego High, but it felt big and impersonal. My son is smart and i felt like he was going to just cruise by without any challenge or any accolades. We toured SET and my son was so excited. I love that each class is small. I love McCurdy, Ms Heath and all the other teachers. Ms. Geis is such a rad human! My Daughter is the opposite of my son.... She is into dance and theatre, but after seeing how awesome SET was, we enrolled my daughter too. Love the school and staff dearly!

She is only in 9th grade and already taking on leadership roles. The teachers exceed my expectations. They know each student by name, have great relationships with them. My son's former teachers are always happy to see him when he goes to visit, which is often. He even gave graduation presents TO some of his teachers before he left. The students are geeky, wacky, nerdy, different, intelligent, unique, confident, and wonderful! My daughter said that she didn't want to go to any other school because she is with "her people" and she is right. Dr. McCurdy said in last year's commencement speech, "If you aren't failing, you aren't learning." What a great place to make mistakes, learn from them, and make improvements. I'm so excited for the students attending SET High because they are learning real-world skills at such an early age in a supportive, caring, and fun environment. We had a slight concern regarding the way my child was spoken to by one of the instructors, but they made efforts to reassure me that they would rectify the situation, and meant no harm. Overall it was a miscommunication issue, with a lot of kids running around, I understand how things can be misinterpreted. I appreciate the instructor and staff communicating with me.

Had a disturbing call with a rude, argumentative & unhelpful person named Lily…read more Called in to get prices & book for blood draw needing a total of 6 tubes drawn which would take 15-30 minutes. Was quoted nearly $700. This office doesn't answer their own calls. They instead transfer calls to a lousy call center which is why mine was answered by Lily. Lily quoted me nearly $700 for about 6 tubes of blood because I have a total of 5 at-home blood test kits. They want $115 per kit. However if I had just 1 kit that required 6 tubes then price would be $115. These are prices just for blood draw. I made it clear I would be shipping the kits myself. This price quote was so ridiculous and unfair that I politely asked Lily to transfer the call to the office or put me on hold and speak to them herself to get a final price. I asked for this 3 times during the call. She refused. Upset, offended and frustrated I let Lily know $700 for a 15-30 min blood draw was outrageous, unfair and expensive and that I would leave a review about it thinking maybe then she'd offer to double check directly with the office. I was wrong. Lily instead got sassier. She couldn't care less that her attitude, refusal to contact the office or offer a more reasonable price was about to get WellnessMart a negative review. Shame on this facility for failing to speak directly to potential customers to offer clear and honest pricing and allowing such nasty behavior. That is in addition to quoting nearly $700 for a blood draw that would take 15-30 minutes. Unhelpful team, poor care quality and overall a very shady experience.
