An update, I recently went to the dermatologist because one of my cuticles just wouldn't heal and the skin around it started to change. Come to find out, I got an infection from this visit months ago. Seriously if you're considering this...It's just not worth the trouble. I heard such great things about this place and while my nail lady was out of town decided to give them a shot. I left with uneven messy nails and I don't think I'll ever be back. I asked for coffin shape and my nails are definitely not. They're thick and uneven even after I had her go over them again. Halfway through my appointment she was told her next lady was in and was repeatedly told through my appointment. She hurried through my nails and I was left with one of the worst acrylic jobs I've had. I don't normally leave reviews, but I was so upset at how my nails ended up for how much I paid (more than my normal lady) that I thought why not. I got my nails done for my wedding here. Similar to what everyone else is saying in the reviews, they are not transparent about pricing! I got the most simple pedicure they offer and medium acrylic nails (almond shaped). I did a nude color with a jewel on my ring finger. This cost $130 (not including tip). When I called to make the appointment I explained exactly what I wanted, and I was told it would be less than $100 (not including tip). My nail tech did a good job and the salon is really cute, but I left feeling cheated. Luckily there are many other options for nail salons in Tualatin. Also, the station where they do acrylics have stools instead of chairs with back support. It took a while to do the acrylics so it was't long before I was really uncomfortable. If everyone here wasn't so sleazy about pricing and up-selling I would give this place a 5. read more

Sadly after a year of not having my nails done I took a chance. Didn't even make it out the door before one broke. Mai redid whole the nail completely, and the flower in less than 10 minutes. Pictures tell all. Also decided, before the nail broke, to get a pedicure with Ha, $30 and massage no more than a minute the scrub no more than a minute and the flower, ridiculous to a point of why bother. I got online and booked a pedicure service about 2 weeks ago with Mia. I usually book with Lena because she does the best shape for me , but she wasn't available the day that I needed. I drove 30 minutes to bridgeport nails and arrive and Mia greets me kindly. They take me back and sit me down at the pedicure chair and put another girl with me who has done my nails before and I didn't like the shape. I then told them that I had booked with Mia for a reason (I've seen her do the shape that I like in the past) and she tells me that she doesn't do pedicures. But that she would make sure my shape is ok. So , the girl does my pedicure and tries to shape my nails and Mia comes over and fixes them all so they're perfectly square. Then she switches back to the other girl who finished . My cuticles were not cut at all or pushed back at all. And there was extra charges that they've not charged me before, but I just paid and left unhappy because I don't like confrontation and I had already had enough just addressing I wasn't getting my nails done by who I booked with. Two weeks later , me And my friends go in to get our nails done , didn't select any specific people for the appointments, and Mia is there. My girlfriend got a pedicure by Mia which confused me because she refused to do my pedicure two weeks prior that I specifically booked with her. Also during that trip, our friend got a basic manicure with no polish. He just wanted his hands cleaned up and cuticles pushed back and cut . They didn't push back or cut his cuticles at all, and his finger tips have been raw the last few days. Cutting and pushing back cuticles is something that Should happen during any basic manicure or pedicure or shellac. Maybe the people working there need more training or they are getting lazy. Either way, I will only be booking with Lena and Tracy moving forward. Also Mia, If you don't do pedicures , please don't have that as an option on your booking page. Today was the second time I've given this place a try. It's beautifully furnished, has TONS of color options, and the price is right. However, you get what you pay for, it turns out. Or in my case, not quite even that. My friend wanted to celebrate her ultra-girly, princess daughter's 3rd birthday with pedicures. This little girl is a pedi-vet. Just two weeks ago, I painted her fingernails with gel polish; she was an ultimate champ! Today, we booked 4 pedicures (2 adults and 2 children) for 11:10am. We both arrived with our toddlers at 11:10. We waited in the lobby but there was no-one working the front counter. After we walked to the back, someone checked us in. A few minutes later they led us to 2 pedi-spa chairs with water in them. The water was way too hot for either of us to put our feet in. When we were told to soak our feet, we explained it was too hot. The lady we spoke to added a tiny bit of cold water to my friend's spa, but didn't acknowledge me at all. Even after adding some cool water, it was too hot for my friend to put her feet in. We waited until NOON (50minutes!) before our pedicures were started. Because the water was still too hot at noon, we were just sitting in the chairs, waiting with our increasingly frustrated toddlers in our laps. The woman working with my friend and her daughter obviously did not want to paint the girl's toes. She kept poking her feet with her super long nails, and then complained that the little girl was moving too much. When my friend pointed out that she was tickling her foot with her nails, the lady did nothing to adjust her behavior. When asked to paint the girl's fingernails to match, she said she would move too much. She DIDN'T EVEN TRY. I can personally attest that this particular girl LOVES getting her nails painted and stays very still. This was a matter of a technician just refusing to do what we booked the appointment for. Now to my nail technician - she was a nice enough lady, complemented my toddlers eyes (he's beautiful, if I do say so myself) but when I said I wanted his toenails blue, she was obviously displeased and started making excuses not to. You could tell she was taken aback that I was asking for my boy's nails to be painted. He's 22m and I just wanted him to feel included. I don't even know if he would have allowed it. Again, she didn't even want to try. When he asked to nurse, and I very discreetly offered him my breast (none of which was showing AT ALL) she picked up his jacket and put it over him. I imagine she was trying to be helpful, but I also wondered if she thought it inappropriate for me to breast feed publicly. I don't know, and at this point, I don't even care. The pedicures we received were mediocre at best. They barely have any massage and I was chastised for moving too much. Of course, by this time our unstimulated toddlers were ready to go. It's super hard to stay still when a 30lb toddler is wiggling and squirming. Now, some may say we shouldn't have brought the kids, and I'd agree with you, except for the fact that the appointment was made FOR CHILDREN. If they didn't want to paint kids' toes, why did they accept the reservation? The whole point of this was to treat the birthday girl to a girly adventure, and all she got were some green toes. Her mother is taking her to another (and better?) nail salon to get her fingers to match. I am so disappointed with Bridgeport Nails and their TERRIBLE service. It's possible this could have been some sort of communication error - maybe they didn't understand about the kids? I don't know. Went in with my mom for a mani and pedi. Our pedicures were good but neither of our manicures are acceptable. My mom had a dip manicure. Only one nail tech in the salon knows how to do them so even though she booked the appt for a dip mani she had to wait for another technician to do her manicure-not so bad but it started peeling two days later-and after they charged her an additional $10 to remove her old manicure and without any hand massage. I believe a $60 dip manicure should way more than 48hrs. My mani was a regular polish manicure last 4 days also without a massage. I cannot recommend or return. read more

I made an 11 an appt for my friend and I. I arrived first and was given huffs and puffs and eye rolls because my friend got lost being as this was our first time at this salon. Bad impression right off the bat. I was given a small amount colors to look at. Not many to choose from at all! I then received a call from a lady right in the back asking where was I and that I was late. I said I'm in the front sitting down. She comes out looks at me and the guy up front said something to her in another language and she just turns around and walks right back. My friend arrived and we were shown to the back. The chairs for manicures are first off very unappealing to the eye and not comfortable what so ever especially if you are short. My friend was hoping to add some length to her nails without using acrylic. Instead of advising what to do and what not to do they just looked at her and made her feel very dumb. I finally just butted in and said she just wants shellac. The people doing our nails barely said any words didn't even ask our names. The guy doing my nails I believe his name was Antony or Anthony was very rude and kept telling me not to move and pulling on my arms. I could tell when I chose black as my color he got irritated. I understand black is a hard color but that's why I pay to have my nails done. The paint job done on my nails was horrible. And when I asked once if he was going to fix a certain nail he just said yes I will fix later. Not to mention the extra $5 added to each service excluding the fee for new file. This $5 is described as being because of covid. I did not see them do any extra cleaning even when people moved seats who were getting pedicures. She was so friendly and eager to help me match my inspiration picture for my nails. My coffin acrylics are the perfect length, beautifully shaped, not too thick, and she really made sure that every color was exactly what I wanted. I get a regular mani because I have long nails and I don't like gel manis. I feel like they didn't do well because I was just getting a regular mani. I'm so happy. Not only have I found my new salon, but I also found it on the first try. Originally I just perused yelp in hopes of finding a highly rated nail salon in my area. That's when I stumbled upon Bridgeport. The rating seemed pretty high, I did some browsing on their instagram page and when I saw I could book online I was sold. I went ahead and chose Mai, seeing as she was the next available and I was eager to get in. The salon itself is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Certainly a level above most of the standard, unimpressive and the ubiquitously boring appearance of other salons. I showed Mai a picture of what I wanted, with a few tweaks to personalize it. This included, rhinestones and matte color. She put on a full set for me, in addition to color/design. When she was finished not only was the job immaculate, but it even looked better than the original I had brought in. I am an incredibly satisfied customer and will be returning again. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I am SO angry about the quality and service of this place. I saw Joanne for a set of acrylics for my prom and made an appointment in advance multiple days before. To start, she was 45 minutes late (when I had an appointment!!) and didn't even shape my nails. When I asked questions to clarify or make comments on how I wanted them, she was cold and talked to me like I was stupid. It took an hour and a half for her to shape them. As seen in the photos I posted, my nails were SO thick and uneven, the tips weren't even straight. They also slanted upwards and were painful?? Acrylics have never hurt me before. Then she told me what I originally wanted wouldn't look good. On the website a full set is advertised for $50, and I paid $80. I don't know if they charged me $30 for gold foil but either way that is RIDICULOUS. When I left and looked at them I actually started crying. After paying $80 for what looks like $20 acrylics I called to get my money back or get them redone. Reminder that these were my prom nails!! Reception desk was rude and Joanne didn't even try to fit me in before my prom. I called multiple times trying to talk to a manager just to find out Joanne is the OWNER. I didn't think what I was asking was unreasonable, but she just gave me an appallingly insolent response. I am floored that someone so unprofessional and immature could own a nail salon. The reception girls all had an attitude, interrupted me, and even hung up on me. Joanne made absolutely no effort to rectify her mistake besides a fake apology and an abundance of excuses. I decided to go to Bridgeport nails despite it being far from me. This time I worked with Mai and she did an amazing job. I really wanted to like this place especially since I was here with three other ladies and we were being treated by one of the ladies. This was her new favorite go to place. When we walked in I was overwhelmed by the smell of acrylic - just because it is a nail salon does not mean it needs to stink this bad. I usually go to a much lower end place which does not smell so I was pretty surprised at that. I just figured a place which charges way more and looks this fancy could afford a fan. We sat down in the waiting area and were told to grab whatever out of the fridge by the front desk person who really was not that welcoming. The fridge had juices, soda, and water. I was actually hoping for a mimosa, a glass of wine or a cup of something brought to me like I get most places. We did not see the wall of nail polish until we were seated. No one asked us to pick a color out - we were just told to sit down in the chairs. The interior was decorated beautifully and the windows are great with all the light. The chairs are real leather, very comfy and have crazy aggressive massagers which actually remove knots! I will say that these facts kept this review at a two and could have been a one. Our group of four all started at the same time for the same type of pedicure yet all four seemed to end at different times and each of us was treated totally differently and to different treatments. It was weird. Mine actually took the longest yet he seemed to do less - he barely removed the dead skin on the bottoms of my feet which really needed it yet he instead spent a crazy amount of time with the clippers on my cuticles and snipped me twice causing me to bleed a lot with no apology. It is a great thing I have a high tolerance for pain because he took the nails down to skin and then started sanding them down along with the skin on the ends of my toes...it hurt pretty bad. His solution to me not picking out a color was him choosing for me. One of the girls I was with had the same issue but her girl asked what color she was interested in. She brought over five in that color range to choose from and one of them was perfect. He asked what color I would like. I said a soft pink and he brought electric neon pink...so I said I would prefer a darker pink perhaps a fuschia even. He seemed annoyed and brought one shade of an orange red. I gave up and just said sure because my group was done and waiting. During the entire pedicure I was seated on the end near a bar looking area and this woman sat there staring at me to the point of creepy and she was talking to another nail person...and then suddenly she started doing her own nails and I realized it was someone who worked there. I just want to start by saying that Bridgeport Nails is the nicest, most esthetically pleasing nail salon I have ever been to. Every employee is clearly dedicated to their job and truly cares about customer satisfaction. Today, I had my nails done at BPN, perfectly, if I might add. It was a quiet morning with not many customers, as it was 11am on a Thursday. I was seeing a technician I had not seen previously. Her name is Raechel. She is super sweet, and very talented. I normally see Cindy- who is equally talented and caring. During my appointment, Cindy was working on another customer...who had lots of ideas about the way she should be doing her job. All these technicians are professionals- very attentive to detail and know what they are doing. So, this customer was being unbelievably rude. Telling Cindy she was giving her the worst manicure she has ever had, that she had terrible customer service, and didn't care. I just wanted to write a review and let everyone know- Cindy is NOT RUDE, in fact she is very kind and wants to provide you with fantastic nails! It is unfortunate that there are so many unbearable people who are so ungrateful. In such a thankless industry, it must suck to have to deal with dickhead customers. Everyone at BPN rules. A guest was mad at her as the receptionist took a walk in before an apt. It's understandable, but they didn't handle the situation very well and it all felt VERY awkward. I came here hoping my feet would feel pretty, but I was wrong. The price shown on the brochure at the front desk is a different price than what is shown to you when seated. I opted for a very basic pedicure because the paint lasts long for me, but some of the workers kept pushing for a gel pedicure after I repeatedly said that I want a basic, regular paint and pedicure. I was told I had to pay for the nail kit prior to service? No idea why I had to do that when nowhere else I've been to does that. I tried understanding the process of it, but they ignored my questions and opened the kit and proceeded with the service anyway. The lady who was doing my pedicure carelessly tapped and pushed my feet in and out of the water throughout the entire service instead of verbally communicating, nicked my toe, and also burned my legs with hot water. No apology, no care in the world, but just a cold stare as if I'm inconveniencing her for reacting to the pain. The paint job was horrendous.. it was all over my toes and she didn't bother cleaning it well even though she used a brush with acetone? It hasn't been long since I've gotten my pedicure, but the paint has been chipping off like I've been overdue for a pedicure for over a month. I decided to take off the paint because of this, and it is definitely a black color. It looks like I used a sharpie marker all over my feet and I can't get all of the paint off for some reason. I've gotten black nail polish before and never had to use so much product to try to get some of it off. I'm glad I didn't pay for the more expensive package. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

The staff are all on trend, very fashionable, highly trained in nail art whether it be shellac, acrylic, gel building or regular polish. I saw superb stiletto nails on multiple people.. these peeps know their business Maria was my nail specialist and she did an amazing job on my pedicure and my shellac mani. Bridgeport nails was a fun break from the pack. You're going to be paying a little bit more, but they're different from your average nail salon. The inside is super flossy, adorned with white and gold. There are sparkling chandeliers and gilded mirrors everywhere. Nelly and other hip hop played over the sound system, making it feel like I was just hanging out with my friends. This salon attracts a more hip crowd, and I felt vaguely underdressed with my leggings, sweater, and flats. The nail techs are true artists and can make your wildest nail ideas come to life. Or, if you're like me, they can do a great job of a straightforward shellac mani/pedi. They also offer lash extensions and I think they do waxing too. The downside in decorating a place like this with white is that it shows dirt extremely easily. I've been a customer for 5 yrs . Mai does an awesome job!! When I'm at work women ask where I get my nails done and they say that's to fare. Well I would drive an HR to get my nails done by Mai. The staff is friendly it's clean and so pertty. Reading the reviews of the ladies complaining isn't what I've experienced or seen . All the women coming & going all seem to be happy with the job . I haven't gotten my nails done since before Covid Pandemic started. Used to go to this nail salon for 4 years and it was always the best. Bridgeport nails has officially gone to crap since Joanne and Randy left. They were the heart and soul of this salon. Went there today and it was the worst manicure I've ever gotten, and all I got done was white gel manicure, pretty hard to mess up. Definitely will not ever be back. read more

This place is so beautiful! The second I walked in, I knew it wasn't my ordinary nail salon. The decor is straight out of a magazine! My nail artist was Peter and he was so awesome!
