The raspberry cream pie was delicious. Would get it again. It was so hard to pick a pie, wish they had slices so we could try more. Guess we have to go back again LoL. The carrot cake with walnut was alright. Nothing special. Thin layer of frosting.
Some of the best pies you can get on Long Island! It's definitely worth the trip even though it's pretty far east and north. Saw NJ and CT licenses so people are coming from out of state just to get these pies. We got the raspberry cream and peach cherry. Both delicious but will try more next time because I'm positive they all taste amazing! There's not much parking but people come in and out within 15 minutes typically. The pie line is usually outside the store since the inside is so small. I recommend knowing what you want before going in so they can just pack it for you immediately and keep the line moving. There's a nice field next to the store if you want to walk around a bit after the drive. There's a porta-potty
Very fresh but I prefer the cooked fruit pies with the scrumptious double crust. I felt like I couldn't really taste the crust on this one. And if you're gonna go for a cream pie the raspberries is a much better choice. Cute little store with lots of pies for sale! Service is friendly and quick.
Their fresh fruit pies are amazing!! We got the fresh strawberry and blueberry pies this time. Kinda pricy but so worth it. We also got a few variety of fresh apples and oatmeal raisin cookies. Both were fresh and tasted good. Can't wait to be back now that the weather is getting warmer and Briermere farms is open again.

Growing up on Long Island, making the trip out to Briermere Farms for Thanksgiving pies is one of my favorite traditions, and clearly, I'm not alone. Briermere is a true Long Island favorite! Every year, my family and I brave the drive and it's always 100% worth it. We always make sure to pick up three pies: the classic apple, the pumpkin, and our absolute must have, the apple crumb. The apple crumb is a personal favorite, the topping has the perfect amount of crumb, and try it warm with vanilla ice cream .. chefs kiss.We also never leave without a box of their chocolate chip cookies with pecans, and if you haven't tried their apple butter, you're missing out. Spread it on toast or pastries and it's absolutely delicious. The farm stand itself is so cute, especially around the holidays. They have fresh breads, jams, and seasonal produce! Whether you're grabbing corn, tomatoes or berries, they have it all. Even though Briermere gets extremely busy, especially right before Thanksgiving, the staff have the whole system down to a science. The traffic can get crazy with so many people picking up their pies, but there are always people out there directing cars, guiding people safely across the parking lot, directing the lines, and keeping everything organized and moving smoothly. It's clear how much they value their customers, even during the rush! Briermere Farms is as much about the memories as it is the pies and treats. If you're anywhere near Riverhead or just looking for the best pies on Long Island, a trip to Briermere should absolutely be on your holiday to-do list!
Came and got the blueberry cream pie and chocolate cream pie. Decided to stop by and try out these flavors bc we loved their peach cream pie. Blueberry was good and the chocolate was okay but neither cake could match up to the peach pie which is not available this season. Highly recommend coming for the peach pie.
I don't want to be dramatic but my life changed when I discovered Briermere Farms. I've heard of them for YEARS as the best pie you can get in NY state. As a certified pie-lover, and having been here twice now, I can confirm that I 100% agree. This was DELICIOUS. First of all, almost all the pies I got were even better after a day or two in the fridge. Menu changes daily, you can order ahead as well for pickup. Came around 3pm on a Saturday in October and ordered at the kiosk and they still had everything I wanted. BLUEBERRY PIE - was soooo divine. If it's warm, give it a few hours to cool down. Once it congeals, it is such a treat. It brings me so much joy and I wish I had my fridge stocked constantly with this pie. I also got the BLUEBERRY CRISP PIE literally the next weekend because I was obsessed, and back in the area. Mind you I live in NYC. But I had an opportunity to go back out here and would lie if I didn't say coming back here was part of my decision to do so, The crisp adds such a nice texture, though it is harder/crunchier than you would think, but again, once everything sets and the texture homogenizes a bit in the fridge - even more divine. Also tried the PUMPKIN PIE, APPLE CRISP PIE and they were similarly delicious. The pumpkin pie, though, is not too sweet, and is pumpkin-forward, really honoring the freshness of that pumpkin. The apples are nice and cinnamony and beautifully sweet. My friend got the STRAWBERRY RHUBARB which I found a bit more tart than I prefer, but was still really fresh and enjoyable. It's also not just about the pies. I got their fresh peach juice, a gallon of their apple cider, some of their cookes, and let me tell you that you can just taste how fresh everything is and how much love goes into their products. I also walked away with their apricot jam - and yes, delicious. RUN!! Do not walk. My life is sooooo much better now that Briermere Farms is in my life.
The pros are that it's pretty close to the Riverhead area near the outlets and highways, the bathroom is relatively nice and well maintained, they have a good selection of juice (apple, cherry, peach, raspberry, blueberry), the flower selection is beautiful, and I've heard the pies are very good but haven't tried them. The pumpkin square was pretty good. The cons are that they don't sell pie slices by the slice which is what I was really hoping for, they don't have apple cider donuts, and there is nowhere to sit and eat. The service is kind of rushed and not super friendly. Overall good spot!
Everyone is picking up fruit, begs, flowers, pies at Briermere!'s! If you think you're going to breeze in fast on Sunday In August after 10 and mot have a crowd... well.. forgeddaboudit! Lol Everyone's patient and the line moves reasonably well. Everything is fresh and delicious here - and a mist have if put here. If you don't need A whole apple pie ... they have tartlets - same flakey soft pie crust and Apple inside. This is definitely the place for Long Island's best corn muffin. Ironically they taste even better the next day. It's been said that one of the brothers took a year perfecting the recipe. Heading back with the most indulgent item they have - Strawberry cream pie. And some fresh locally grown plums.
Stopped by on the way home around 4pm and wanted to pick up one of their peach cream pie. My friend use to always picked one up on the way home from the area but the prices definitely been increasing as more influencers stop by since. I understand, but its pretty hefty for a pie. $50 is alot for a craving. Would be really nice if they can come out with a smaller options that might be in the $15-20 range. 1 star off because the value you get isn't the greatest. Beside that, the line moves fast and the parking was okay (we were lucky). Didnt had time to look at their produce selection that days since I didn't want to miss getting the pie.
The hype about the most expensive pie is REAL! Peach cream pie was well worth my $48 - I mean, it was literally peaches GALORE! Worth the visit - super organized, friendly staff & delicious options! Oh my! If you don't make the stop here, you're surely missing out!
The pies from Briermere deserve 5 stars. We have tried over 8 different flavors of pie and each and everyone is worth the trip and the price. They also have a small amount of other baked goods as well as a small amount of locally grown vegetables and flowers that can be purchased. Although parking can sometimes be tricky it is usually pretty quick to open up as the check out line is quick and efficient. They have menu boards posted through out the line so you can get an idea of what you want before checking out. We've tried some other baked goods from them such as cookies, muffins, and other specialty items. Unfortunately these don't fall in the 5 star category. It seems that regardless of the item or flavor it is supposed to be, the taste falls flat in comparison to many other places. If you're going to briermere, skip the other baked goods and go for the pies. They are visually pleasing and the taste is out of the is world. You will not be disappointed in the quality or the selection.
Perfect spot to stop at if you're going to someone's house out East. Beautiful flowers and wide selection of pies. We stopped here on a recommendation of our cousin who always brings back a pie when driving home to Queens. The pie was good, best served with ice cream sold separately. I happened to be around the area and decided to try it. It was my first time visiting and I heard a lot of great things about it. When I got here there was a line but it moved pretty quick. They have a good selection of pies. I decided to buy the blueberry cream pie, apple pie and peach juice. I mixed the peach juice with seltzer water, and it was good. The blueberry cream pie was amazingly good, it was not too sweet. The apple pie was delicious too. The crust had a buttery flavor. I can see why it is a popular place to pick some pies up. Next time when I am around the area, going to try their other pies. read more
Best place on earth, OMG if you have never tried a Briermere pie you are missing out. Any purchase here would be a win, but my ultimate favorite is the raspberry cream pie. It's is like no other pie I've ever had, I'm convinced they sprinkle a little heaven on it. They are so will organize, when you pull up, you'll see a very long line pretty much always, but don't let that scare you away they will have you in and out of there in a flash. read more

Okay, so as Spring begins on the East coast, for me, it's quite easy to justify getting the quintessential Fall dessert... an apple crisp pie ! Justification is that Spring is when we were here, so one does what one must do to capture their favorite season (the Fall, aka Autumn) and their favorite pie of that season... or EVER. Apple Crisp pie. I have to say I was very impressed. Quite often, I have to criticize what others think is a GREAT apple pie, and it simply isn't... BUT, I was quite taken with the Apple Crisp pie made by Briermere Farms. It had a very respectable amount of cinnamon and even a hint of salt to bring out the sweetness. I think I'd give the pie an 8.7... out of 10. Most pies I've had usually fall way short in the cinnamon category, and that alone kills it for me. Truth be told, my daughter wanted me to try Hallock's, but honestly, they hadn't opened for the Spring yet (when we were here), so we tried Briermere for the North Fork pie experience. Next time we visit Long Island, off to Hallock's for comparison, AND I wouldn't mind returning to Briermere for another apple crisp pie... and maybe even try another kind ! :-) read more

I wasn't a huge pie girlie until I had pies from Briermere Farms! I like my fruits separate from my desserts but the blueberry crisp pie was very solid! The blueberries weren't too sweet or sour. The pie crust was pretty flaky without being too buttery. The chocolate cream was still my favorite pie because the filling was super tasty with a strong but not overpowering chocolate flavor. The whipped cream was fresh and wasn't too sweet either! Their rhubarb squares were also DELICIOUS! With just a tad bit of tartness, they are filled with buttery goodness and a brownie vs cake mixture. The line moved pretty quick and it was nice to be able to check out their produce while waiting. I am a long time fan and buyer of their strawberry jam but just threw away $45 on a strawberry cream pie!!! My own fault for buying a fruit pie that is out of season. Not sure why they would even sell it if they care about the quality. Strawberries were not ripe or sweet, white in the middle. It looked beautiful, but it was a crust filled with some kind of cream with unripe strawberries on top. Not good! read more

After hearing how great the pies here are we just had to drive out and try it for ourselves. There was a line but it moves very quickly, we decided to get an apple crisp pie, raspberry cream and a fresh fruit strawberry and blueberry cream pie. The cream pies are absolutely delicious!!!! Well worth all of the rave reviews they get! Would make the drive for them easily! The apple crisp was good but it's not something I'd get again for the 28$ price. The other two however, worth every cent. Amazing read more

A great pit stop to grab some fame fresh produce and baked goods! They have a lovely selection of seasonal produce, fresh flowers, jams, and baked goods. My only complaint is that it's a bit on the pricey side. Still, it's worth it if you're out east on the north shore. read more
If you're on the east end of Long Island and you're driving through Sound Ave to wine country, you owe it to yourself to spend $42 on this pie! I mean, look at it! And the picture really doesn't do it justice. It is fresh, creamy, with in season fresh fruit (they also have the compote version which is great too), and the crust is just awesome! This place is almost always crowded, but worth the wait. Oh, they also have a decent farm stand and other delicious baked goods too, in case they sell out of the pie. read more
The best pie. The raspberry cream pie is my favorite and super fresh. The cream is light and airy. I have never tasted a pie so well-balanced. The service is very fast and there are usually many cashiers working. I recommend stopping by if you are out east. read more
Summer/Birthday isn't official until I get my hands (and mouth) on one of Briermere Farms Blueberry Cream Pies If you've never been here, it's a lovely road trip to the east end of Long Island. It's very pretty out there, no matter which season you choose to travel. Whether you're appreciating the sunflowers in the summer or the corn in the fall, you won't be disappointed. I recently moved to Long Island and heard a lot of about this place. For some reason, I thought it was more of a sit-down and enjoy kind of establishment but it was all outdoors and it was ore of a pick-up-and-leave kind of place. Nonetheless, since I had never tried fruit pies before I was very eager. I ordered the raspberry cherry pie, as well as some pastries and vegetables. Everyone was very nice and knowledgable. The first pie I initially wanted was not currently available so I did decide to go with my second choice. I brought the pie home and ate it 5 hours later after heating it in the oven. My first bite was not love at first site. The raspberry was very strong and I could hardly taste the cherry. Everything tasted very Tart to me. As the days went on I did keep eating the pie even though I didn't love it at first - I don't like to waste food that I paid for. After a few days of eating it, it didn't taste as strong anymore and I genuinely started to like it. Im not sure I would say I love fruit pies but I am open to trying another flavor as the pie was very well done. read more

Strawberry blueberry cream cake was delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the strawberries and blueberries were so ripe. The crust was crispy and fresh. It's kinda pricey for $42 but I guess we are paying for the berries? We got the blueberry crisp too for $28 which wasn't bad and wasn't too sweet. It was crispy and fresh but I definitely preferred the cream pie! The corn was $1 here but one of the ones I picked was molded which was just bad luck. $8 for blueberries. I just can't wait to come back for the peach cream pie. read more

My friend told me about this spot and I went here today. Their pies are known to be amazing. I got the strawberry blueberry cream pie and strawberry pie. The strawberry and blueberry pie was great! The strawberries were fresh and the blueberries were delicious. The crust was perfect buttery taste and flakey. Would love to come back and try the peach pie. read more

Nothing screams summer like a slice of Briermere pie and the craving hit, so I went! Today's goal was to order things I haven't ordered in the past. I got the rhubarb square (buttery crust, slight custardy layer and rhubarb on top), the apple tart (which I haven't tried yet but many were getting it- seemed like a good compromise of getting that than another whole apple pie) and the Peach Blueberry fresh fruit cream pie. I always either get the strawberry, blueberry or the strawberry/blueberry combo. The peach was very juicy and the pie was delicious- however I am happy I got the pie with Peach & Blueberry than committing to just peach as the peach was tart. The tartness did even out with the cream/crust. I know I said I was gonna get things I haven't tried before but their carrot walnut cupcake is so good- I had to get it again! They were busy but they worked like a well oiled machine with many cashiers open. I also picked up a bunch of items for others (If I'm gonna make the trek- might as well stock everyone up). The cashier was super sweet and offered to help bring everything to my trunk. No one beats this place! read more
Decided to take a little road trip with the family to check out some farmer markets out East. First stop was Briermere Farms. What a great first stop. Pretty planters were on display for customers to admire while shopping. I bought an apple pie, chocolate cookies (without nuts) and a container of yellow grapes. EVERYTHING I bought was delicious!!! The staff member that rang me up was so polite and patient. I had questions about a strawberry plant that I was looking to buy and she was so honest when I was 'beating the bush' about whether the plant was still alive and if strawberries would still grow this summer. She told me that strawberry season was over and that the plant wouldn't produce anymore strawberries this season. I appreciated her honesty and because of that honesty and how delicious everything I bought was, I will definitely return to this market in the future. Stopped by after a wine tour. They have fresh produce and fruit. The thing to buy here is the pie! I bought the apple crumble pie and it was delicious. Also picked up two bags of Long Island potato chips. Definitely recommend if you like pie! read more

This Apple Crisp pie was the worst Pie I have tried . The Apples on the inside was horrible and not edible and was the weirdest consistency. Almost feel like I got one from a bad batch?? When I say this Pie was terrible it was terrible! read more

The prices are more than the store brought pies but it's worth the splurge if you are in the neighborhood. The pies are a crowd pleaser and everyone in the world seems to know about them. The ingredients are fresh and it's all homemade. You can also pick up some pastries and tarts, apple cider, donuts, cookies, jams/jellies/and syrups as well as other items including some produce. read more
Heard that the pies at Briermere Farms are incomparably delicious, so had to stop by on the way home from a day trip to the North Fork. Since Briermere is so popular it draws a large crowd, but the place is run like a well oiled machine with orderly lines, many open registers and minimal wait times. We bought a raspberry peach fruit pie, chose that flavor because peaches are in season now. Couldn't wait to get home and dig in. Honestly this pie is the best I've ever had - by far! Loaded with fresh fruit, not overly sweet, made with a light flaky crust. At $20 this big pie was a bargain. The verdict: Briermere's stellar reputation for homemade pies is well deserved. read more
I've been here twice so far and the first time I was here I only got apple pies and apple cider. Recently my friends told me about the blueberry cream pies so I came back. I bought the fresh blueberry cream pie and the cheaper jam version. The fresh premium pie is nearly $40 while the cheaper jam version was probably somewhere in mid $20s. The fresh blueberry is 10x better than the jam in my opinion. $40 is pretty steep but the amount of fresh blueberries on top is worth the price. Not one bad blueberries in the bunch! The parking lot seemed a bit tiny from what I saw but I think people are in and out fairly quick. With the pandemic going on, they have multiple stations that allows social distancing. Overall a great experience and I'd come back for more. read more

Yum ! Yum ! Yum! Delicious fresh homemade pies ! What a wonderful treat ! Ok you can't eat this all the time but once in a while treat yourself ! They do make the best pies ! Today I purchased the peach raspberry or is it raspberry peach LOL , not too sweet with a bit of tartness and flaky light crust ! There's no skimming here ! Worth every cent !!!! FYI They accept credit cards. They also sell other baked goods , cookies and bread . ... flowers and some veggies too ! Everything was set up nicely for social distancing and everyone was wearing a mask ! Thank you ! read more

Has anyone eveer frozen a cream pie? I know they say not to, but I did. Just wondering if anyone's tried and the best way to do it, I thought maybe thawing in the fridge and still eating very cold so the cream doesn't get too runny?

Do they sell gluten free pies?
I am not sure about pies but they do have other edible products that are posted as gluten free like preserves and some other sweets. Give them a call but call early since tgey are strict on closing on time!!
