As someone who is petrified of dentists and has genetically bad teeth, it had been a while since I stepped foot into a dental office. New to the area I called Bright Smiles after losing a filling. I was booked within 2 days for my cleaning. The staff was very sweet and accommodating. The hygienist was thorough and kind, reassuring me the whole time. The dentist came in after, we discussed my treatment and she assured me we would get me smiling again. Today I had my second appointment, fillings, I am somewhat resistant to numbing agents so when she started drilling I flinched she stopped immediately and numbed me more, each time she would ask if I was ok and adjust as needed. I still have crippling fear of the dentist but she is amazing and I will be continuing to go as I know it's important and she keeps me at ease. This place is amazing! read more

I've been a patient here for over 10 plus years. I have seen people complaining about that the waiting takes too long. You know what, I would rather wait the extra 10 minutes and get the service they deserved. Dr. Duong have always greet with a smile and she truly cares for her patient. I'd like to say how grateful I am for working with great staff. I will give a truthful and honest review. So far I have had my teeth cleaned by two of the hygienist Le and Lucy. They are both great they really dig in your gums to clean it well. Yes is hurts but that's on my end for not flossing on a daily routine. They told me the more I floss the stronger my gums become. Dr. Doung has done my fillings and she takes her time and makes sure that I'm comfortable. Same with Dr. Tran she works a lot quicker and is gentle. Dr. Duong likes to talk to her patience as if they are family and is very honest which I like about her. I have left my original office and come to Bright Smiles dental because of how well they all take care of my teeth. I had to write an update about my follow up appointment at another dentist. When I went to bright smiles I was told I HAD AT LEAST 4 CAVITIES maybe more and would need a lot of work done. I then went to my childhood dentist to get the cavities filled and guess what I HAVE NO CAVITIES. That's right Dr. Duong told me I had at least 4 cavities when I actually had none. read more

I have been going to this dentist for the past 3 years and I really like them. Not too long ago, I had two wisdom death removed. Dr. Doung performed the procedure with local anesthetics. The procedure was painless and my recovery time was fast because I was able to eat solid foods the same day. Also, my health insurance isn't that great so the doctor gave me a great deal on the procedure. I would recommend this place to other. read more

I don't know how they can open their business. Today my sister had appointment for cleaning, she had to wait for 40 minutes, and I think it's okay. Later, a woman cleaned her tooth, my sister said it hurt few times and wanted to stop it. She didn't want to do it anymore because last time someone did very well, not hurt. But the woman kept doing it, she was crying, and she is 20 year old! We went home and called to ask what happened, that woman talked to me, she said she didn't care, she just did her job, and If I want, next time don't need to come anymore. She hang up the phone after that. What's happen to this business? Come on! If you don't know how to run a business, just shut it down. If you don't care about customers, what should you care?! I'm very upset about this business and never come back. I went to bright smiles for a broken tooth that was in a lot of pain. It was the day before Labor Day weekend and they were the only place I could get into immediately for an emergency visit. They told me the tooth couldn't be saved so I had no choice but to extract it. I didn't want too but with all the pain and being told it couldn't be saved I had no choice but to take it out. It was the Friday before a long weekend and after about two days I had more pain than I started with! So I called all weekend and there was no emergency contact or anything for me to get a hold of. So I left a message hoping they'd maybe check messages over the weekend in case of emergencies but no one ever called back. So the following Tuesday I called and told them I was still In a lot of pain so they had me come in. The dentist who pulled my tooth wasn't in so a woman came in to see me. Before even checking the extraction sight or inside my mouth at all she told me "it was an easy extraction and I shouldn't be in pain so take something over the counter for pain and rinse with salt water." I was a little upset by this because for one she didn't pull it so how would she know whether it was easy or not? And she didn't even check it to say it was ok or healing correctly!!! So she left the room and I was just sitting there in aw! There was no goodbye, have a nice day, call us if you need anything further, she said NOTHING! I walked out of the room and it was crickets in there! No one was around not even the receptionists. I left VERY upset and over the course of the next week I was still in so much pain and it wasn't healing at all! So I ended up digging into the extraction sight with tweezers and pulling pieces of broken tooth or bone out of the whole! I pulled three big chunks out on three different days!!! I don't even know if everything is out but it is still very sensitive to touch and to cold and hot things and I know it shouldn't be. I've called crying and told them this and the girl who answered the phone took my message and said she would have the dentist call me and that was about 6 days ago!!! I STILL haven't heard from them! In my opinion they are the WORST dentist I have ever been too and I've had my fair share of dentists!! They shouldn't be in business AT ALL!! Best part is I'm almost 6 months pregnant and they are fully aware of this and if they put me or my unborn child in any type of harm because of this they will be sorry! PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!! read more

All around, suck, first I almost get drowned by the cleaning and I'm told that I should block my throat with my tongue. The cleaning was horrible she clearly had zero experience. the doctor gives me a drawn-out explanation of 6 cavities and 4 peace needed to be pulled and so on and they won't write anything down on a letterhead it was just all bull and I had just had with my dental records and been keeping up with my dental appointments steadily for the past 3 years so everything was complete. I have to confess that my dentist told me I didn't need fillings but after going to Bright Smiles Dental, Dr. Duong showed me the images from that paranomic x-ray... I was convinced! Other dental offices may use different equipments I guess. Anyway, I'm glad I had my fillings redone. read more

I should have trust the reviews on searches for this place and should have listened to a friend who warned me about this dental office. I came in for an emergency visit and was told I needed a root canal procedure. OK, sure, get me in on the earliest appointment. The dentist also told me I need to have a "few" fillings done near site of tooth needed root canal. Ok, sure, but I want to get the root canal procedure done first. I told them the type of insurance I have and confirmed the price of the procedure. Everything was verbally agreed upon. On day of my appointment: Oh, sorry sir, the cost for the root canal procedure is actually $160 higher then we thought. WTF!!!???? You had a week to call me to let me know. Let me take the time to make a decision. Maybe I cannot afford that extra $160 or maybe based on principle, I would have told you to go FCUK yourselves. People, do yourself a favor, look elsewhere for dental services. read more
