My two children and I had eye exams here, but our insurance doesn't cover frames just the exams…read more After I told them that I would be purchasing glasses online because there was no way I could afford even one pair of their glasses they were very rude and the tech's tried to refuse to do our PD measurements. After some convincing they begrudgingly agreed. They did my two kids, but when they got to me, I noticed they held the PD machine at a strange angle and the measurement came back much different than my previous PD. I asked if they were sure they did it right and they responded with a very curt 'I know how to do my job' I got a more recent eye exam at a different place and they confirmed my PD measurement never changed and that the people at Casco Bay had botched the measurement purposely because I wasn't buying their glasses.

My great experience started with an enthusiastic greeting by Debbie as soon as I walked in the door. Courtney & Dr. Amy Cyr gave me a super thorough eye exam. Then, Gina Namin pleasantly & patiently dealt with me while I tried on 25 different pairs for frames. She made sure they were just the right one & fit perfectly. Fast forward 6 months and I went back for a pair of prescription sunglasses. I needed a new style. Nick Howe was a huge help and pickled out a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses I would have never tried on myself. He was so good - my wife even loved the ones he picked out!. I just picked them up and Gina again made sure they fit perfectly. The best customer service I've received in a very long time.

Bought pair of Zeiss sunglass progressive lenses for an existing Rayban frame 10 days ago .. told…read moreTim I specifically needed lens color that would help me pick up the golf ball better against the sky .. he talked me into brown with yellow tint to pick up shadows and land slope and the like .. well, that was all well and good for looking at the land, but it turns out that the yellow tint also makes the sky the color of weak chicken noodle soup that is impossible to assist in picking up the flight of the golf ball, which is what I stressed up front was my major concern that I was looking to solve .. keeping the new lenses anyway since they are useful otherwise, but not what I wanted .. so minus one star .. then went back a week ago and ordered new pair of Rayban metal frames and Zeiss brown photochromatic progressive lenses to also use for golf .. the particular Rayban frame selected had spring wrap loop ends on the temples that wrapped completely around the back of my ears and were super comfortable to wear without slipping during athletics .. specifically wanted these frames and not one with straight temple pieces and made a big point during ordering how much I liked the loop wraps around the back of my ears .. so the glasses I got in yesterday had straight temple pieces anyway .. having waited a week for the glasses to be made and then driven an hour just to get down to the shop for pickup, it was way annoying to have these folks try to palm off a frame that I did not even want or order .. the fellow who helps Tim out front, when I pointed out that these were not the frames I ordered only said "Oh, is that a problem?" .. no other concern, really, except offering to order in the correct temple pieces that would take a week to get there and mean I had to drive back to the shop again on my own dime .. when I asked him whether the frame that I tried on and that they used for fitting to my specifications for ordering was still in the shop, he said they were no longer there and that they must have been sold to someone else who wanted them really badly right away .. begs the question that I had them on my face when the new glasses were ordered and my measurements taken .. so why weren't the frames I tried on and made a point of noting how much I liked the ear wraps on the temples set aside for my order instead of ordering something that I did not want or ask for that came with straight temple pieces? .. go figure .. this particular fellow was less than helpful and I thought his behavior bordered on indifference to the wrong frames being ordered when they had what I wanted right there in their hands when I made the order .. I cancelled this order and got a refund and now have to go find something someplace else .. minus two stars for this ..

I just had the most lovely eye appointment (again) with the Eyes on Rosemont folks. I was able to…read moreschedule an appointment at this location only two weeks prior, then had to change is a few days before. They were able to accommodate my appointment change and were super sweet the whole time. This was my first time at this location, I had previously been to the Brighton Ave. spot about 5 years ago, and had a great experience. Then, insurance, life, money, employment, and Zenni optical online gave me a break from scheduling eye appointments... Fast forward to now and I decided a check up might be nice along with some new high quality frames that my insurance would partially pay for. I was worried about finding parking, but I got a spot right in front of the office. BRING CHANGE FOR THE METER. A few things really stood out for me here. First, it was run by all women. My eye doctor, the receptionist, the person who helps you pick out glasses. I love any business where females make up the majority. Second, the layout was simple, there were two rooms off the main entrance, but overall the space was small and well designed. The doctor was thorough and actually found something in one of my retinas that I need to be aware of, so I'm glad I went in. So, tell them Amanda B. Sent you, because I wouldn't hesitate to tell all my friends to go here for all their optical needs!

I've had glasses for 20 years and lenses have never gotten cloudy. Took them back only to hear the glasses were out of the "2 year warranty with the manufacturer." Not my problem! My relationship was with the Eyes of Rosemont, which sold me the glasses and should have stood behind. Buy no: Glasses were useless and looked weird,. Went to Costco and had a great experience for 1/3 the price.
