Came to get SNS nails as they had positive reviews and booked with one of the techs that was highly recommended on the reviews. I think my expectations were too high as I was pretty disappointed. I felt the tech was rushing everything and unclean. Right after she unevenly cut and filed my nails she immediately started applying the products even though my nails were still dusty and had visible residue on them. At other nail salons the tech cleaned off my nails and moisturized them before applying any nail product. She also spent almost an hour filing but my nails but they were still very bulky and uneven. She was also busy looking over at other customers and talking on the phone so I don't know if she was even paying close attention to my nails. For $55 plus 20% tip I felt this was not worth it at all. Also, they never mentioned there was a 20% off deal for all new customers. So I never got to take advantage of that. I personally wouldn't recommend. It's been a week since I've gotten it and the SNS is already peeling and chipping (see images). I was told these would last minimum 3-4weeks. But looking at my nails I highly doubt it. read more

Well they are very nice and did an amazing job ! On my pedicure I did not even have to ask about my ingrown she did it on her own and made sure my toe was ver clean . My nails were perfectly even and shape was what I was looking for and the colors suggested were perfect ! Went in for the first time a few weeks ago. I was treated like royalty from the minute I stepped in. Was impressed by the fact that they took their time to do the job right all while smiling and joking. It was a breath of fresh air! I also thought the fact that the regular customers seem to treat the staff like family is great. It shows me they truly care. The salon was very clean and comfortable. Worst experience ever!!! Will NEVER go here again. At first I thought this experience would be nice being that it was in such a nice neighborhood. But I was wrong. The owner was sweet but he didn't know how to paint nails or maybe he was just distracted because he was trying to do EVERYTHING...answering the phone and etc. There was a woman working on my nails...number one she was rushing, I don't like that...2. She didn't remove all the color from my nails before she tried to prep my nails for the next color of SNS. She proceeded to state, you won't see it under your new color!! Excuse me, this is not my first rodeo! I've NEVER had anyone state that. You're just being lazy and giving me a horrible experience!! And thought I wouldn't say anything. 3. I hated the color of my nails so I decided to try and add a design to one of them to spice it up and the guy and woman said there's only one specific person who does designs...‍ lets just add that no one here knows how to do designs. I wish I had taken a picture of my nails to add to my post but I didn't. I was soooo furious! I asked them to let me leave because I was so disappointed with my experience. I've been a loyal customer of Polished for years but I've noticed over the past few appointments the service has gone down hill and I haven't been completely satisfied with my nails or pedicures so I decided to take a break from them and try something new...after searching, I decided to try out YOUnique Nail Bar and I have to say I'm glad I did. First, when I called to make an appointment the person on the phone was very professional and cheerful, he didn't come off as rude or in a hurry to get me off the phone. Then when I arrived for my appointment they had my pedicure chair ready, water warm, and Huy, one of my technicians, greeted me at the door smiling and walked me to my chair. I made an early morning appointment (as soon as they opened) so it wasn't too busy or loud. The environment was nice, calming, and clean and my pedicure was EVERYTHING!!! Huy did such a great job and took his time meticulously getting these feet together! I think this was the best pedicure I've ever had! As for my nails...my technician Jenny was great! She did a beautiful SNS on my natural nails, including SOAKING OFF the previous SNS nails I had from Polished...I emphasize soaking off which is the correct way for removing, because when I had my nails redone at polished the technician literally used a nail tip to PRY off the SNS tips from my nails! And because Jenny asked me to wait just a few minutes while she waxed someone's eyebrows she gave me a free brow shape up...she insisted because felt bad that I had to wait for her for about 10 min. There's no doubt I will be going back to YOUnique...I loved the service I received and the technicians are super sweet. Nightmare. This over dressed snobby woman did the worst job on my nails I've ever encountered. I had sns and I had to have her remove them they were awful. She has no training it's obvious.
