I have been a customer since I bought my first and second Mazda3 on Chicago St. This week I…read moretraded in my 3 hatchback for a very fair price and drove off in a beautiful, used Honda Accord. Miles was the product specialist who worked with me on the purchase and I couldn't be happier with that. Miles has incredible customer service skills, an awesome personality, and is just a good guy. I absolutely recommend seeking him out when you decide to buy your next car. You too will drive away with a smile, knowing that you got a great deal from a great person!

I am leaving this review regarding my experience with Biggers Mazda…read more I purchased a vehicle on April 25. Approximately three weeks later, while my daughter and I were inside the vehicle, it caught fire and was declared a total loss. We were able to exit safely. At the time of purchase, I paid a $5,000 down payment and $3,255.00 by credit card for GAP coverage and an extended warranty, which I specifically requested not be financed into my auto loan. After the transaction, the $3,255.00 payment was reflected as a "credit" and also appeared within the financing structure, which I did not request or agree to. I asked for clarification and correction, but did not receive a resolution that addressed my concerns. As of today, I have not received reimbursement of my $5,000 down payment, my $3,255.00 GAP/extended warranty payment, or the two payments made after the vehicle was declared a total loss (approximately $1,000 total). I also continued making payments on a vehicle that had already been declared a total loss, and the title paperwork was not submitted until May 19. I contacted Mazda Corporate, and I was directed back to the dealership. My concerns were not resolved. Throughout multiple communications with dealership leadership and Better Business Bureau responses, I was repeatedly told they would "try" or "work on" solutions, but I was never provided a clear written resolution, timeline, or confirmation of reimbursement. This review reflects my personal experience and documented records related to this transaction. I encourage any buyer to carefully review all paperwork, verify exactly how payments are applied, and ensure all agreements are clearly documented before completing a purchase with Biggers Mazda.

Sheila was very honest, answered all of our questions, and didn't let us leave until we were happy…read morewith our monthly payment. Would recommended asking for Sheila to support you with your next car purchase! We would recommend this Kia location to our family and friends.

My wife and I found ourselves in a position where we needed to provide a car to our son in college…read moreand decided to give him our existing sedan and get ourselves a new SUV. We had about a week to play with, enough time to do online research based on our budget and needs without any need to be rushed, and after the initial research and a few test drives, we settled on either a Sportage Hybrid or a Tucson Hybrid, which are essentially the same car with a few tweaks and trim packages that aren't quite apples to apples. We had test driven the Tucson Hybrid first, determined the trim package that was right for us, and got a quote from them. The sticker price was between $38K and $39K, we were putting $5K down, and Hyundai was offering 3.99% financing for 60 months, and our monthly payment came to about $615 a month, which a quick bit of calculation confirmed to be about right. Then we went to Elgin Kia. We test drove a Sportage Hybrid with the SX-Prestige trim package, sticker price was $39,850, we had the same $5K down, and they were offering 1.99% financing for 60 months, so despite the sticker being between $1K-$1.5K more, a 2 point drop in APR should have made the monthly payment a bit lower than what we'd gotten from Hyundai. The salesman sat down across from us after the test drive, pushed forward a sheet of white computer paper with rough, non-specific handwritten notes regarding the car, and the numbers $850 a month with some ill-defined 3 years maintenance package, or $820 a month without the package, but we were strongly recommended to take the package. Now, taking the sticker price, tacking on a couple extra grand for the additional costs there always are, removing the $5K down payment, dividing it up between 60 payments, and taking on the 1.99 APR, the monthly payment SHOULD have been roughly $626, maybe a little less, maybe a little more, I openly admit to guessing at that $2K extra, but ballpark, that monthly payment is about what it should have been. Doing that math backward, starting at a monthly payment of $820, I came to a sticker price of $51,240. When we pointed out that this number was almost 30% too high, he did the 'talk to the manager' thing a few times and came back saying that they were willing to bend over backward to get their number down to the monthly cost quoted by Hyundai. Obviously, we're going with the Tucson. If you go to Elgin Kia, bring a calculator and trust your own math. Better yet, don't go to Elgin Kia.
