I "unclogged" the sink simply by opening the stopper. They told me they "forgot" to give me the senior discount because I did not ask for it. Fortunately, our Carpet Cleaner alerted me to the fact that my dealing directly with our Insurance on a Claim meant that I better make sure that I was able to identify all of the damage to be included in the Claim. He recommended that I call MONTEREY BAY SOLUTIONS (MBS) in before I went much further. The BEST recommendation I've had in a long time. Monterey Bay Solutions came in, and efficiently used their state-of-the-art Infrared equipment to identify HIDDEN WATER BETWEEN THE WALLS. We knew that the giant PINE TREE branch had fallen through the roof & attic, and was sticking into the Master Bedroom. But, the CAL FIRE firemen were there in minutes,, securing the roof, pulling out the branch sticking through the roof, and otherwise minimizing and capturing the rain water as it came into the bedroom. WHAT WE DID NOT KNOW was that the rain had gone between the walls. So, our timely call to MONTEREY BAY SOLUTIONS saved the day. We would have thought that we were clear of any water issues when the Cal Fire put a 30 gal tub down to catch that water, but Monterey Bay professionally documented all of the hidden water we would not have known was there, growing mold and other problems. MBS provided an exceptional Damage Remediation Plan for our Insurance, complete with INFRARED PHOTOS to document the damage by providing irrefutable proof by the vivid colors which indicated how bad it was.
