These guys undertook to clean the scale off our pool surfaces, drain, acid wash, and refill our pool and rebalance the chemicals. The scale removal subcontractor did a great job, but then the rest of the job with this outfit's own guy was a disaster. This guy, let's call him Mr. Vape, who looked to be about 16 years old, shows up, puts a pump in the bottom of our pool, runs a hose to our sewer drain and books it. Next thing I know after getting back from running errands, there is water running all over our yard and halfway down the street. The hose slipped out of the sewer line since Mr. Vape didn't put it in far enough. I had to get out there and wrestle the hose back into the sewer drain myself. The loose hose discharged a huge amount of chlorinated water all down our landscape, pushing dirt and rocks into the sidewalk, parkway and gutters. Next day Mr. Vape shows back up. He gets out a broom and sweeps the dirt and rocks back into our yard and leaves quite a mess that my landscaper will now have to fix. Next thing he heads to our pool area and bails out the water from our spa, which had not been drained. He takes a look around, gets out our water hose and sprays down the walls of our pool. Then, instead of doing an acid wash, he unbelievably starts packing up all his gear and books it out of there, not having done anything else, not even refilling our pool. I get an email saying the job is now complete. He was here for all of an hour and twenty minutes. I had to refill the pool myself, reprime our pump and restart the system, adding the necessary chemicals. No acid was was done at all! They tried to pull a fast one. The walls of our pool are still discolored and dingy, but I didn't have time to bring someone else in at that point since we had an event at our home that we needed to get ready for. After I complained about all this, the manager apologized and said he would look into it immediately. Next thing I know they have the audacity to send me an additional bill for "Calcium removal/acid wash". That's after I already paid them $500 up front. I would definitely recommend that everyone steer clear of these guys. Similar to what others have said, they don't really do the work they agree to do, and you feel like you have to babysit them every step of the way. I spent several hours myself just trying to get things back to normal. read more

We love this company. They have been servicing our pool for a couple years now, never any problems. They come each week, they email you a picture of your pool once completed. If there is an issue with the vacuum, pump or filter they are on top of it. We have had our pump replaced and new vacuum from this company. My husband ended up getting sick, and most companies would turn there back on customer's who get behind in payments, Brilliant Pools treats you like family and our pool is always sparkling clean each week. We started service with them in February. In April we noticed that the service emails had the same pool readings on them week over week. When reviewing the pool test strips it didn't match with their emails. I sent an email and Ben replied acknowledging that the strip didn't match the emails and that he would speak to his tech to remind him to balance our pool. We pulled camera footage and found that for past few weeks their techs were not adding chemicals and not doing their services such as brushing/skimming pool. Emailed Ben back with this info letting him know we wanted a refund for April and to cancel services. He said he would send all of this information to his Service Manager and that he would respond back to us regarding the issue. That was on April 28th and there has been no response or follow up. Do not recommend their services. read more

They are a family business thats very quick to respond, professional and quick to get things done. They also appreciate their military veterans, which we appreciate. Purchased my first home a few years ago with a large pool in the backyard for my family. I have never had a pool before and to say the least I was not aware of the maintenance that comes along with it. Was a bit overwhelmed with trying to do it alone so I started to search around for pool companies. Talked to a few places, but was treated a bit poorly over the phone due to me not knowing exactly all the details about my pool, but luckily someone referred me to Brilliant Pools. Barry and Rose over at Brilliant Pools were extremely nice and super easy to work with. Everything about my experience since day one has been nothing but amazing. We have had smaller issues fixed like getting our pool vacuum replaced, as well as huge things like getting our entire pool pump system replaced when ours finally kicked the bucket at 40 years old. They provided us with everything we needed to do the replacements and everything they do is for an extremely fair price. There weekly maintenance techs are always on schedule and always nice. Their office is easy to communicate with and super responsive when it comes to returning E-mails or calls and my questions are always answered. This is not a turn key company. They may be good for an owner occupied property but not a rental. They take a lot of supervision. Although I will say at least they try. When something is wrong with the pool they send a picture with no explanation of the picture. They aren't very responsive. They will get to it when they get to it. read more

Rose in the office was very nice and quickly set me up for an initial visit and weekly after that. These guys are great. They are responsive and very respectful. They also keep safety in mind which is a big one for me as the gates are always shut so my kids can't go by the pool and my dog can't go in the street. They also have a quick fix. My pool started turning green and they were out here the next day and fixed it immediately and said please call if you are not satisfied in the morning. My pool has never looked so good and clear.
