I am beyond disappointed with my recent visit to Brimhall Eye. I've been a loyal patient for years and have even referred to family members here, but after today's experience, I will never return--and neither will my family. I arrived 10 minutes early for my scheduled appointment, only to be left waiting without any explanation. No one informed me of any emergencies or delays, leaving me completely in the dark. To make matters worse, I was charged for a follow-up visit, even though this appointment was specifically to address issues from a previous visit. Charging me for a follow-up is completely unreasonable, and it feels like the office is more focused on making money than on providing quality care. On top of that, I was overbilled for my first visit, and now I'm left wondering how the office will handle correcting this mistake. When I finally saw Edna, the technician who was assisting Dr. Dennis, her behavior was unprofessional and vindictive. Instead of addressing my concerns or explaining the delay, she told me I couldn't return for 10 days to address the issue because my insurance supposedly wouldn't allow it. After speaking to a manager at United Healthcare, I learned this was a complete lie. Edna misled both me and Dr. Dennis, who I'm sure trusted his technician. It seems Edna intentionally wanted me to wait, likely out of spite. She showed no regard for my situation or for arranging proper care. When I expressed my frustration, she rudely told me that if I wasn't happy, I could change my appointment and leave. I cannot believe the office employs someone who treats patients this way, and I highly doubt this is the first time she's acted in such a rude, condescending manner. This experience was the final straw. I've always recommended this office to others, but after today's treatment, I feel completely let down. The lack of communication, the rude and vindictive staff, and the overall disorganization make it clear that this office no longer values its patients. I will be taking my business elsewhere and will no longer recommend this office to anyone. This place has lost my trust, and I strongly advise others to find more professional, patient-centered practice. I cannot believe that someone like Edna represents this practice. read more

I had cataract surgery on my right eye yesterday, and I am already amazed by the difference. I chose the multifocal lens because I wanted to avoid wearing glasses in the future, and it was absolutely the right choice. Dr. Jorden Thomas is incredibly professional, skilled, and knowledgeable. From the moment I met him, I felt safe and confident that I was in good hands. The whole team at Brimhall Eye Center made this experience smooth and comfortable. Ana helped me get approval for the recovery time I needed, and every receptionist, nurse, and technician I met was friendly, patient, and caring. Dr. Brimhall and the entire staff of the eye center are the best. I moved to Nevada in 2014, after researching doctors in the area, I was lucky enough to pick the best. He monitored my eyesight issues and performed my cataract surgery, when I needed a retina specialist he referred and made a timely appointment. Dr. Brimhall is knowledgeable and personable. His staff is friendly and efficient. I moved to New Jersey the beginning of January and did not get to say goodbye. I needed to contact a new doctor and had my first appointment Jan. 31. If a 10 was possible I would rate Brimhall Eye a 10. Once you enter it is obvious why Brimhall Eye is the premier eye facility in Las Vegas. I found everyone I interacted with to be the best, brightest and most highly motivated in their field. When it comes to a part of my body as critical as my eyes I want nothing less. I reviewed the web sites of other eye care organizations in Las Vegas and rated them against Brimhall Eye as the gold standard. In many cases, I felt that as a patient at their facility my eyes would be treated like a component on an assembly line; my eyes are too valuable to receive LASIK eye surgery under those conditions. read more

When I needed to have my cataracts removed, I searched for who's the best cataract surgeon in Las Vegas. The internet said Brimhall Eye. Now I can see why! (pun intended) Everybody there was very friendly and knowledgeable in their jobs. Dr Brimhall is top notch! The procedure was quick, painless, and successful. I had cataracts for a long time because I was "too scared" to have them fixed. The results were fantastic, and I highly recommend Dr Brimhall and his staff. On May 13, 2021 Dr: Thomson performed a very difficult cataract surgery on my right eye. My cornea was severely damaged due surgery by pervious lasik eye surgeon in California.. Dr Thomson has golden hands. I was lucky to find him. He is an exceptional eye surgeon. I think God sent me to him a little over a year ago when I really bad glaucoma (70 eye pressure). My recent cataract surgery: Very gracious and efficient front office sign in and a couple of forms to sign. The surgical staff and nurses were without equal. Very professional, and very friendly. Dr. Brimhall did his usual great surgical work. After a morning appointment, I felt 90% clear by evening. The next morning my eyesight was totally clear, and no post surgery problems at all. 86 years old, and I can see as well as I did as a young man. My optometrist suspected I may have signs of early glaucoma and they recommended some offices for further testing. My niece works at Brimhall Eye and I came here instead. The entire testing took about 1-1/2 hours (including the wait time during the dilation). Dr. Jordan Thompson did the evaluation, and he was very thorough, personable and professional.
