Beware! They charged me 2.5 times the monthly rent as a security deposit and they they came up with a bunch of BS charges to keep as much of my security deposit as they could. I have previously rented from other management companies and not had this issue. When I did the final walk thru with their agent, she remarked how clean the place was and then they tried to charge me $120 for cleaning. The agent noted a a couple scuffs on the wall, but stated it was normal wear and tear. They charged me $120 for painting. I never hung any photos or anything on the walls and I was only there a year, so the painting charge was ridiculous. I knew had to replace one set of blinds, due to damage from my kid, but when I got the bill they tried to ding me for two. I had asked if I needed to have the carpets cleaned and they said no, as I pre-paid for that service. They then charged me $120 for a flea treatment to the carpets. My dog has never had fleas, in fact, we were at the vet 2 days prior to move out for an ear infection and the Veterinarian even remarked she had no fleas during the visit. Another frivolous charge they added. They tried to charge me for issues that were marked on the move in report. Very shady! Also, I didn't receive my security deposit until almost a month after I moved out. I gave them the correct address the day after I moved out and they sent it to a wrong address. When I moved in, there were no screens on the window. I asked that they add them to keep the bugs out, they refused, so I paid for them out of pocket. They told me the heating system had a fan that could be run during the summer for cooler air. Not true. In the winter, we discovered that the heater didn't work. When I called for service, I was told it would be over 2 weeks before someone could come out to fix it. Tried using 2 space heaters, 1 in each bedroom and it kept tripping the circuit. I had to argue just to be able to use a company and get someone in sooner. Overall, it took a week and a half to have heat in the house with a young child. read more

I've been living at one of their rental properties since my son was 6 months old...he is now going to be a sophomore away at college this fall. I'm still here on the same property and though there had been many Property Owners during this time (the current owner has been the long term property owner here, through the years - and had been very attentive & helpful, when Brink had to contact them, for any of my issues)...Brink Property Management has always been the property management company for this Property since I've been here. Dean, the broker has been my initial representative contact with Brink, since that New Tenant Application day, 20 years ago. Dean is professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable, helpful, patience & courteous. He always maintains an extremely professional staff (brokers/managers, etc.) as well. Presently, Adam & Lisa have been the property managers at my apartment complex for many years now...they bring to Brink their exceptional professional experience & customer service expertise. Though they have many other properties to manage, they've had always been attentive to my emails/contacts with no problem. I have worked with Brink Property Management for about 10 years. First as a tenant in a Brink managed rental with Adam Roth as my Brink property manager . He was a great representative for the landlord, Brink, & was wonderful to work with from a tenant's perspective. Shortly after that my brother & I hired Brink to manage two of our rental houses, and I was very pleased to have Adam as the lead manager for my rentals. Adam has done a great job for us in the 5 plus years he has handled our rental houses, and it continues to be a positive experience working with someone as competent, caring, and professional as Adam. I say this after having hired and fired three other property management companies before signing up with Brink. None of the three other firms were exclusive property management firms, but instead were primarily real estate agencies with property management services offered on the side. i have been the tenant in a house managed by Brink Propery Management for 2 1/2 years: my landlord is Rick Masseno. it was difficult qualifying for this house because my income was barely enough to meet the qualifications, but i was determined to live in this house and eventually moved in. I must say it was stressful during the time i was trying to get approval, but even then i told myself if i was the owner of the house, or had a house to rent out, i would definitely want this company to be the ones taking care of the process, since they take very seriously the responsibility of placing qualified, stable people in the homes entrusted to them. while living here, there have been some issues requiring the attention of my landlord, and he has never failed to respond to me within 24 hours, sometimes less, each and every time and has made sure the problem is dealt with as soon as possible. i could not ask for a more professional and friendly landlord. i would recommend this company highly. sincerely, shelby phoenix Maltby, Wa. read more

We live out of state and are having family look at places for us. We set up an appt with Michelle but Gregg ended up doing a showing. When expressing concerns for our credit he said we can just pay two months rent in advance. We submitted applications the next day. Over a week later of calling his cell and office and being told hes the only one who can help us we waited a few days and called again. He then said he was no longer working on applications...a phone call back would have been nice! We then get in contact with yet another person who said we were denied and that they don't give paying more as an option when denied. Your communication to each other is horrible! We would have never applied if Gregg didnt say we have other options! Your communication with your customers is horrible!!!! I saw the townhouse is still for rent and at a cheaper price. Odd since the guy said he moved on to other applicants with better credit. I bet youre making a fortune off the applications and zero calls back to people. read more

These people disgust me. I found a rental on Craigslist and kept calling them about it, even leaving messages. Did they ever return one single call? Nope. They keep reposting this property and it still shows up on their website, but it's status has said "pending" for over a month. Yeah, right, it doesnt take over a month to approve someone to rent. It's horrible that they have time to repost ads, and get this, if you do a search for Brink Property management and look at the few sites that have reviews, you will see that they go to the trouble of making their own reviews, which, of course, always come out to 5 stars. If you compare the sites, you will see the same EXACT words in the review on a different site with a different scrren name! Imagine if they put all this effort into actually trying to rent properties out! If you have left Brink in charge of managing, you might want to reconsider because they make absolutely zero effort in attempting to rent properties out. read more

Syndie Donovan and Gretchen Walley have been wonderful to work with since I moved into my rental home over 2 years ago. Having owned homes for over 30 years prior to this move, I wasn't looking forward to being a tenant again--they've removed any qualms I had. I've only had minor/routine issues with the house, but each one--whether it was the fan in the laundry room, a broken shelf bracket in the master closet, a window shade that wasn't working, a bathroom door that needed shaving, or hedges that seriously needed trimming --has been dealt with promptly and courteously. I've even asked for a couple of "extras"--power washing the concrete and asphalt, and adding lighting to a too-dark path to the front porch--they were able to get those taken care of, too. They are the perfect "go-betweens" on landlord/tenant matters and their friendly, client-focused, professional service has been just about perfect. read more

I've owned a number of rental properties in the past as well as worked with a number of property management groups, but my experience with Brink has been incredible. I always expect issues to arise with any rental home. Maintenance, rent payments, utilities and neighbors, but I have been blown away with the level of professionalism that Brink brings to the table to manage anything that might come up with my units. When we first began using Brink, we were not thrilled. The communication was lacking in the beginning and it seemed like it took forever for things to get accomplished. It wasn't that they were doing a bad job, it just felt like they were not being proactive and we had to push a lot to get things done. When our new manager began working with us, Lisa Benedict, we really started to feel like we knew what was going on with our home. She understands the business due to a lot of experience in the field, so is able to give solid advice, she works hard and goes out of her way to provide good customer service. We own and live in a 55-home subdivision in Issaquah, WA since 2000, and the HOA (Homeowners Association) has engaged Brink Property Management of Bellevue to manage the property along with the HOA before we acquired the Lot and house. Brink and the HOA have done an excellent job of managing things for the 55 Lot Owners over the years. The lots are kept up by the Lot Owners and the HOA manages the common areas. It takes a strong HOA Board and Brink to effectively manage a subdivision like ours. Our HOA Board is active and effective and the Board works well with Brink. Brink has been excellent in working with our HOA Board and a Brink representative meets with our HOA Board each monthly meeting. What more could one ask for? read more

Brinks is the worst ever property management. They are extremely rude even when dealing with decent families renting decent expensive houses. They very slow in taking care of maintenance and never return your calls. They also use legal jargons to scare you. When you respond back with same legal language, they simply do not respond and ask you to get a lawyer. This actually causes more harm to the owners. When not extending the lease, they confiscate your deposit for lam excuses.
