Which, I'd been nervous about after I mistakenly went to a 'holistic' dentist for that, which cost so much, and took very long to redo. I had to go to a perio specialist, then to put my zirconia implant crown on, Dr Edwards did a whole procedure to do that perfectly. And I'm very grateful to him that I can now chew normally and not worry about it anymore. Being born without an adult tooth is no picnic, but luckily there are pros like Dr E to help us out with these things in life.

They are very skilled with cleaning, local anesthetics, and did an amazing job with my cosmetic dental work. I have also found rescheduling, and scheduling in general, to be much easier with this practice than others I've gone to. The office itself is beautiful and calming, with TVs mounted on the ceiling so you can watch your favorite show during your cleaning. I watched Modern Family today, and Melissa didn't even mind when I laughed mid-cleaning! The front desk staff is equally wonderful--friendly, quick to answer the phone, and always helpful. I love that I can also text them, which came in handy when I needed to update my insurance recently--they responded right away. The surgery coordinator referred to IV sedation as "general anesthesia," which are not the same thing. That lack of clarity around something so important was concerning. On the day of my procedure, my appointment started about an hour late, and overall scheduling felt disorganized and unprofessional. More concerning, I was charged $500 for a "biological dressing" (D7922) after my extraction. I was not informed that this was being used, did not receive any sutures or noticeable packing, and it was never discussed with me before or after the procedure. I'm currently following up to request documentation and clarification on this charge. Transparency and clear communication are critical in healthcare, especially when it comes to procedures and billing. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

I was told the reason it was canceled was because my insurance had expired (I have a new insurance provider) and they decided to cancel it without getting a hold of me. I just had a previous experience where I was listening to someone read the document while I signed and they withheld certain info that cost me $4000. Very hard lesson to learn.
