Beautiful display
Cat N.

We loved visiting brioche de Paris patisserie in Alamo. Every single staff member and we dealt with four different ones we're so kind and so helpful and charming the display of all their pastries and breads, and look alike fruits. We're so beautiful we were in awe of the selection. We usually go to the one in Walnut Creek but we might switch because we're in between the two of them and we love this location! They also seem to have a much bigger menu. We love that there was indoor seating and so much outdoor seating. We loved how bright and cheerio it was now they don't have the caramel scratch coffee that they have in Walnut Creek. They just use the Toriano syrup, but it still tasted really good because they have phenomenal tasting coffee. We were so excited to have a slice of princess cake, but it ended up being dry. We loved the breakfast sandwich with warm potato chips which was called something else. It was delicious something like brotcon. The vanilla scone was a bit dry also but so large the kouign Amman which was really large did not taste like one. It was good, but to me it tasted more like a croissant, which is kind of odd. I feel like a kouign Amman should have a tight texture and this was very open and loose, but still delicious. We will go back again.

Very cool bakery and cafe right in the Alamo shopping center which means easy parking. They have beautiful pastries! The ham sandwich on croissant with avocado was delicious and came with what seemed like house made potato chips . We also got a cranberry walnut bread which also was delicious.

Still good service and good bread! The desserts are so pretty and one day I will try one.

This bakery has a beautiful selection of desserts and cakes, along with a nice variety of savory items. Their breakfast menu is pretty extensive, and they also offer a full Cafe drink menu. I really enjoyed the pastry I tried here. There's also plenty of seating on the other side of the bakery, decorated with the charming French theme, which makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy your food!

This is a bakery that makes Alamo, Alamo.

Great replacement for Katrina's, it was a big shoe to fill, but Brioche did it fantastically well. Even "regular"Ham and cheese sandwiches were fantastic. Almond croissant is also a favorite. We decided to go for fruit tarts and chocolate cake just for the weekend, and it was great ( the coffee in the photo came from Costco beans, not the pastry shop, disclaimer). This is a bakery that makes Alamos locals, very proud.

Friendly service and knowledgeable staff. Lots of pastries and desserts to choose from. It was okay and I think it's because I had the highest expectations from a Parisienne Patisserie. I've been to the Walnut Creek one years back and loved that one. It's definitely worth checking out since french bakeries are hard to come by and see for yourself.

This is for my purchase from the WC farmers market stand (they had Alamo on their banner). We bought 2 croissants from the Saturday market to bring home to have with coffee. Absolutely fabulous! Flaky and crisp on the outside with a lovely buttery airy flavor on the inside. I had a little of my Meyer lemon curd I had made over the holidays, a match made in heaven! This bakery does it right. I've been to the WC shop many times, now I'll need to stop in the Alamo place too.

Well worth the drive! My only regret was that we were in a rush and couldn't stay longer to savor each bite.

Absolutely incredible service and croissants to die for! Hands down - way better than Parisian bakeries - loved my almond croissant and pistachio latte that sweet Miriam suggested. She was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We will be back!

Happy May! Heard…read moreabout Mr.Dewie's through seeing one of my very old childhood friends' post about their 10 year anniversary! I don't eat any dairy, so I was super interested to try when I saw that this is a cashew milk based ice cream shop. You will have to find street parking or maybe go to a nearby garage. Outside has a a few tables/chairs for you to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Service was great! We were able to taste test a lot of flavors before choosing which to get. We ended up choosing the Vietnamese coffee (limited time), cold brew coffee, fresh strawberry, and banana nut. The ice cream was delicious !! We love it sooo much! The flavors are incredibly strong . My favorite was the banana nut! Taste just like banana bread. Sooo yummy! I will definitely return and try new flavors. I heard their next flavor drop is black sesame (must try).

I recommend sharing a triple scoop because that's cheaper than buying 2 singles. I think gelato at this price is unheard of in the bay area, let alone in Blackhawk/Danville of all places. I guess the rent isn't too bad because the place is small, but it is nice and the service is really good too! Definitely will be back! I'm actually no longer as surprised at the stellar ratings. I mean 4.9 star average is still insane, but I'd expect nothing less than 4.5-4.7 to be honest. I like the pistachio, biscoff, cookies and cream, stracciatella, vanilla, and dubai chocolate flavors. The waffle cone is included in the price so make sure to specifically ask for it, I made the mistake of not specifying and it would be 50 cents on the side (probably due to sharing, the single scoop is $5.99 and the triple scoop is $7.99)

Amazing! They have…read moresuch unique flavors. There were many to choose from, and I'm so glad I overheard the other customers ahead of us saying that the vanilla salted almond toffee flavor was what they are known for. We ended up getting that flavor as one of our two. For our second flavor of two scoops, we ended up getting the marshmallow neapolitan. -Vanilla salted almond toffee: I can see what the other customers meant for "this is what they're known for." I love that the almond is candied/carmelized with toffee. It gives it a roasty flavor, which gives the flavor so much depth. The almond also gives a bit of crunch/texture, which makes this flavor so unique. -Marshmallow neapolitan: I'm not typically someone who likes marshmallows or goes for neapolitan, as I don't like super sweet and I don't like mixing flavors. You can definitely taste all 3 flavors--vanilla, chocolate, strawberry. The marshmallow doesn't make the ice cream as sweet as I would have thought, it really just adds the marshmallow texture. The ice cream is very thick and creamy. It doesn't melt too fast to meld all the flavors together (which I don't really like), and I really appreciate that the ice cream holds together so well! The gentleman helping us was very patient in letting us try several flavors. The shop had a more old time feel. There is a bench to sit on to eat for a bit, but no tables. Overall, I would totally come back to try their unique flavors!

The staff are kind and patient, and I appreciate their organized system of moving the customer over to the checkout counter to make room for customers to sample, ask questions from the staff, and more where the ice cream, wall menu, and entrance are located. The small seating bench area by the window gives a feel of many old school creameries I have fond memories of when I was a kid. The line that I've seen out the door many times here is a testimony to Lottie's Creamery's popularity and top of the line ice cream and desserts!

Receiving a texted coupon for 15% off my order, I was excited to use it since I needed a birthday cake. Though there was an online code, I could not use the discount online. I called the shop several times, but there was no answer, and I even left a voice message but never heard a call back. Finally I noticed there was number on the website to text so I did, and got a response. The response was that it was too late to order the cake, and the coupon couldn't be used online ordering system because the online ordering system was different from what was used in the store. BUT I was told I can still call my order in and pay in advance over the phone to get the 15% discount if I still wanted cupcakes, and if the store didn't answer, the person sending the text said he/she would contact the store. I appreciated that kind gesture. The next morning, I settled for cupcakes and decided to call the order in and pick up the cupcakes in the afternoon since I had no time that morning to go to the store. But lo and behold, I called and again no one answered. I texted the same number from the day before and a response came back that they would contact the store to give me a call. I checked in by calling the store two more times and still no answer. And no one called back that afternoon either. Sadly, I had to give up, but was glad to give business to a way more responsive bakery with delicious cakes.

I worked from the barstools for about an hour and a half. After the breakfast rush had passed, I noticed plenty of open tables along the wall. Since I had thrown out my back this week and desperately needed more support, I moved to one of them. The sign said the table was reserved for up to two hours for customers who ordered food. Great--I had ordered food and had only been sitting there for about an hour. Nope. The same barista who took my order approached me to explain that the table was reserved for customers who ordered food. When I reminded her that I had, she asked what I ordered--as if she hadn't personally rung me up. She then told me I needed to return to the backless barstool. I challenged this because it made absolutely no sense. There were plenty of open tables, I was a paying customer and I was within the posted two-hour limit. She simply repeated that it was the policy. To be clear, the problem isn't that the policy was poorly communicated. The policy should not exist in the first place. Kicking a paying customer out of an empty chair and directing them back to a barstool is a horrible business model that lacks basic respect and hospitality. I left angry, embarrassed and regretting the money I spent here. I will absolutely not be returning.
