This is a very busy bakery as many tables outside had not been cleaned up and I requested a table to be cleared. I tried a veggie quiche and it was different because it was made with puff pastry, not crust; creamy and very good. My friend ordered a crepe. The iced coffees were excellent. What a hidden gem in our neighborhood! Look at the variety of these small cakes and the creativity behind them (see video). We only tried the pistachio Dubai-style cake that's currently trendy- and it was pretty good, with a crispy texture and rich chocolate flavors. We'd love to try more desserts whenever we pass by. They also have quiches and sandwiches made in house, with fermented rustic bread on the shelves. We'll definitely come back to try more. We loved visiting brioche de Paris patisserie in Alamo. Every single staff member and we dealt with four different ones we're so kind and so helpful and charming the display of all their pastries and breads, and look alike fruits. We're so beautiful we were in awe of the selection. We usually go to the one in Walnut Creek but we might switch because we're in between the two of them and we love this location! They also seem to have a much bigger menu. We love that there was indoor seating and so much outdoor seating. We loved how bright and cheerio it was now they don't have the caramel scratch coffee that they have in Walnut Creek. They just use the Toriano syrup, but it still tasted really good because they have phenomenal tasting coffee. We were so excited to have a slice of princess cake, but it ended up being dry. We loved the breakfast sandwich with warm potato chips which was called something else. It was delicious something like brotcon. The vanilla scone was a bit dry also but so large the kouign Amman which was really large did not taste like one. It was good, but to me it tasted more like a croissant, which is kind of odd. I feel like a kouign Amman should have a tight texture and this was very open and loose, but still delicious. We will go back again. read more

This is for my purchase from the WC farmers market stand (they had Alamo on their banner). We bought 2 croissants from the Saturday market to bring home to have with coffee. Absolutely fabulous! Great replacement for Katrina's, it was a big shoe to fill, but Brioche did it fantastically well. Even "regular"Ham and cheese sandwiches were fantastic. Almond croissant is also a favorite. We decided to go for fruit tarts and chocolate cake just for the weekend, and it was great ( the coffee in the photo came from Costco beans, not the pastry shop, disclaimer). The place is quaint looking and the pastries looked nice. Unfortunately, my experience was surprisingly disappointing. I know prices are rising but $7 for an almond croissant? It wasn't terrible but very forgettable. The staff were friendly and attentive. We frequent Brioche de Paris (Alamo) quite regularly for the past 12+ months and always had a pleasant experience - except for today. Taking the order was botched up and less than halve of what we ordered was delivered. After investigating when the balance of our order would be served we got the run-around. No apologies. Just silly responses. In my judgement, this is the result of insufficient staff training, but at the same time it reflects poorly on the business. This place is outstanding when it comes to service mind you I have paid attention to the one star reviews on here and the Google reviews. I feel the bias for them is kind of unfair. For example, I see reviews about the drinks having some problems and someone had mold in a food item. Now mold isn't a bad thing that just means there is minimal to no preservatives being used. But other than that, those are just things on a sidenote why I like this place is the service and quality of items I can try here are 10 out of 10. The croissants have texture to them. The coffee cakes taste amazing and the cakes themselves are very unique. I still need to try some more items from here but from that alone this place is great. I just went to Maison Benoit. I left that place a one star review. I don't need to explain much of why, but in some short words is under performance for the area and the product they're trying to put out. I like this place because it's ran by adults and the hospitality is a 10 out of 10. I've yet to try the fruits that are desserts. My lady would really like to try those so my next visit that's what I'm coming for and I've heard great things about those. Keep up the great work it needs more recognition. read more

The service, food and coffee are good and we also like to meet there in the new added space. Good place to work on the computer and it is quiet. The owner/manager has to change the cleaner they use to clean the tables and counter-tops. They use a purple/pink solution that when sprayed goes airborne and smells like chemicals. I was unable to finish my food and drink because the cleaner is so pervasive inside the bakery. This happens every time I go and all they need to do is use natural cleaning products like vinegar/water. There are many other natural non-smelling cleaners they can use. Came here on a Friday morning. I had been here before and wanted to give them another try because they're close to my house. Looked like they've expanded to allow for seating. Looked nice but while Peet's Coffee next door was packed both in and outside I didn't see anyone here. Just like the last time, it was mid. Maybe my expectations were too high. I had the croissant and pain le chocolate last time. I also had a cappuccino, which took a really long time to make. Today I had the le pain de raisin. And I was not impressed. My parents warned me about this spot after trying it a few times. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but it was not good. The girl who helped me was super sweet so thats the only plus but this mango lemon cake was so bland. The mango was vastly underripe and should not have been used; you can tell it's underripe because it's bitter and the tang stings your tongue. The lemon is extremely subtle and the crust is way too dense/thick. It also tasted old, as if it wasn't made fresh that day. My mother also shared a time where they ordered a few items and were charged twice for each time; the bakery apologized and refunded the money but were insincere about it.
