    Blueberry scone
    Raman C.

Everything was great--I came here with my hubby and daughter for a morning coffee and had such a lovely experience. The ambiance was perfect, with light music and plenty of seating to relax and enjoy. We tried the croissants, which were delicious, but the highlight was the blueberry scone. Dipping it into a latte and then taking a bite made it taste like a soft, freshly baked cake--absolutely amazing! I highly recommend trying the blueberry scone this way; it was such a unique and delightful experience. If you're visiting downtown Walnut Creek, this place is definitely worth a stop. I'll be back again soon. A special thank you to my daughter for bringing us here--such a beautiful memory. Love you, my baby

For my francs, this is easily one of the best cafés in the region. There's so much seating; huge case of pastries and beverages; and great ambience. REQUEST: turn off or get rid of the drop ceiling lighting. Also, revise the music playlist to classic retro French cafe music please. Otherwise, love this spot.

Still one of the greatest places in Walnut Creek to get an amazing cup of coffee I always get the scratch caramel and today I got a pistachio apricot scone and I actually wasn't expecting to like it, but I got it anyway because I love scones, but I wasn't sure how pistachio apricot would go together. Well, it was amazing absolutely delicious. The service there is always topknot to people that work. There are so kind and the ambience is cool.

This is hands down the best French cafe in the Bay Area! Our favorites- all their sweet and savory crepes and their waffles. The kiddos love their hot chocolate! They have a wonderfil assortment of pastries and baked treats our favorite being the creme brulee croissant, pistachio croissant and the gingerbread loaf slice. Everything is authentic and delicious! The staff are prompt and courteous. Ambiance is very French like and cozy. We are definitely coming back when we are in the area to try the Berry French toast and Tiramisu Crepe!

My family heard this was a small business and we love to support places in town like this. Lots of fabulous seating inside and outside in Alamo. The menu is very extensive for lunch! We were not that hungry so we just got lattes and a blueberry scone. My vanilla latte was perfect! Not too sweet and had a great robust espresso flavor. The blueberry scone was unlike any scone I've had, In a good way. It was so yummy! Sweet and blueberry forward with a great texture. I can't wait to come back here and try something from their lunch menu!

This charming coffee shop is centrally located in Walnut Creek. It's counter service and the food is delivered in a timely manner. They have lots of bistro seating outdoors as well as inside seating with benches, tables and couches. It offers a very chill, relaxed vibe! They offer lots of decadent pastries as well as egg sandwiches, French toast, lunch sandwiches and more. Today we tried the French toast and ordered an egg sandwich with bacon and cheese. Both were spectacular! The French toast was cooked to perfection and topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and sweet blackberries! Yes, a dollop of whipped cream that entices you to indulge if you wish! Our egg sandwich was served on a moist flaky croissant. The perfect way to start our morning with a delicious hearty breakfast. We will definitely be back!

I give this place all 5 starts for the interior design. I do feel like I'm inside of a cafe in Paris. Very elegant sophisticated seats. Love this place. Unfortunately, we didn't order any pastries but for sure we'll try it next time we're in town. Now check out our desserts.

Brioche de Paris is a nice little cafe. The ambiance is peaceful and allows you to relax and chill. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I only got a cookie because we ate lunch next door. We'll be back next time we are in the area.

Bright and calm ambiance. We had ube croissant, Marseille Crepe and Dubai Strawberry Crepe. Ube Croissant had generous ube filling. This filling was smooth and not sweet. Marseille was savory but had more dried tomatoes than I would want so it was a little sour. I would go back for the Dubai chocolate- chocolate was not too sweet, it has enough kadayif for the crunch. The strawberry that came with it was a little sour- it would have been nicer if a sweeter strawberry was added. People were really nice.

A true feel of Paris. Like I'd imagine a cafe to be. Busy and enjoyable. Many pastries and drinks to choose from. Artsy vibe with kind staff.

Rose latte, Chai Latte, Chocolate croissant, maple sponge cake

Literally, the best croissant that I have had in forever! It was so flaky, and not too much chocolate. The maple cake was just the perfect size because it is very rich but also very delicious. My husband's coffee was very strong, but he needed that in order to wake up lol. My chai was also really delicious! The inside is so freaking cute and you would want to take pictures for the gram! Staff was super friendly and able to provide recommendations on what we should get.

Had an amazing chocolate Dubai croissant and one of the best quiches I've ever had, made with rich, creamy goat cheese. Every bite was full of flavor and perfectly balanced. Truly a top-tier experience . I'll definitely be coming back for more.

This spot is a delightful little taste of France right in downtown Walnut Creek -- perfect for breakfast, a light lunch, or a relaxed coffee break. The moment you walk in, the smell of freshly baked pastries fills the air and sets the tone for a delicious visit. The pastry selection is impressive, from flaky, buttery croissants to beautifully crafted tarts and sweet treats that make it hard to choose just one. Their coffee is rich and smooth, pairing perfectly with whatever you pick -- and a café au lait or latte with a bit of latte art feels like the perfect complement to the baked goods. I've also tried a few of the light lunch items like crepes and savory sandwiches -- fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. Seating is a mix of cozy indoor spots and outdoor bistro tables, making it a great place to linger over your coffee or catch up with a friend on a weekend morning. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and while it can get busy on weekend mornings (especially when all the fresh goodies are just out of the oven), the overall experience has been consistently pleasant.

    Is this place Kid friendly?

    Yes

    Is parking readily available?

There is street parking only. There are two garages on locust street as well. About 1-2 blocks away.

Are you still serving creme brûlée?

    Yes

Are the pastries made in-house? Or are they bought somewhere else (or frozen) and then baked?

Pastries are made in the Brioche kitchen.

Is there anything gluten free offered?

Yes, we have a few gluten free options. As we grow, there will be more selections.

This looks so cute! I'd go for a non-dairy hot beverage. Do they have anything to eat that is vegan and made there?

There is non-dairy drinks. They have vegetarian options, but not sure about vegan. It's a French Bakery, so I would think not vegan. Call them. Very nice people

Do they offer non dairy milks? Such as almond and soy?

    Yes, almond and soy.

What are the hours of operation?

I only went on a Sunday morning at 10 am. We just happened to be walking by and saw it was finally open, walked in to check it out.

From the moment we walked up to the counter, the attitude was cold, irritated, and downright unfriendly. Ordering felt more like an inconvenience than a customer interaction. To top it off, nobody asked whether we wanted our food for here or to go, yet everything arrived packed in to-go containers. When we opened one of the boxes, it looked like our food had lost a fight with a tumble dryer. The presentation was so rough that we genuinely laughed because we couldn't believe it was being served that way. Good coffee and food can be forgiven for an occasional mistake, but poor customer service is much harder to overlook. Hopefully this was just an off day, because a little friendliness and a lot less attitude would go a long way.

Although the location is not prominent, pictures of their beautifully crafted drinks and delicious bánh mì sandwiches have been spreading across different social media platforms. So much so that they have been featured in reporting by several local media outlets. Out of curiosity, I decided to check this spot out with my brother and a couple friends on 08/29/2025. It wasn't busy when we walked in at around noon. A quick glance revealed a space that's tiny but well organized. We were greeted by Thuy, the friendly proprietor of the establishment. Since this was our first visit, it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. In the end, we each got a bánh mì sandwich and a beverage. Pricing was reasonable IMHO (see menu pic). I had the cold cut bánh mì and an iced coffee. I gave half of my sandwich to my brother, and he gave me half of his grilled chicken bánh mì in return. Both sandwiches were delicious! The baguette was excellent. It was crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside. Thuy told me later on that she gets them from Duc Huong Sandwiches, a famed Vietnamese sandwich chain in San Jose. The homemade pâté, cold cuts, and grilled chicken were all delicious, and the produce was very fresh. The iced coffee was very good as well. We chatted with Thuy extensively before and after our meal. She told us she was a banker prior to opening this café. From our conversation, I could tell she takes pride in her work. We were all very impressed by her demeanor and business acumen. Should you find yourself in downtown Walnut Creek, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars. We ordered the strawberry matcha latte and banana milk coffee! The matcha was a beautiful green color, but unfortunately the matcha flavor was quite faint, and the strawberry syrup tasted a little artificial to me. I also found the drink to be a little too sweet despite ordering it less sweet. The banana milk coffee was better! It tasted pretty much exactly how I imagined it would, although it was also a little too sweet for me even at less sweet. I probably wouldn't get the matcha again, but I could see myself coming back for a coffee, some food, or to study. The cafe is connected to the library, so it's pretty quiet, and there is free Wi-Fi through the library along with plenty of outlets. The seating is a bit limited, but there were several vacant tables and bar spots when I dropped by. There's also plenty of parking, either in the library lot or nearby. Overall, the drinks weren't quite my favorite, but I would come back to get some work done.

I worked from the barstools for about an hour and a half. After the breakfast rush had passed, I noticed plenty of open tables along the wall. Since I had thrown out my back this week and desperately needed more support, I moved to one of them. The sign said the table was reserved for up to two hours for customers who ordered food. Great--I had ordered food and had only been sitting there for about an hour. Nope. The same barista who took my order approached me to explain that the table was reserved for customers who ordered food. When I reminded her that I had, she asked what I ordered--as if she hadn't personally rung me up. She then told me I needed to return to the backless barstool. I challenged this because it made absolutely no sense. There were plenty of open tables, I was a paying customer and I was within the posted two-hour limit. She simply repeated that it was the policy. To be clear, the problem isn't that the policy was poorly communicated. The policy should not exist in the first place. Kicking a paying customer out of an empty chair and directing them back to a barstool is a horrible business model that lacks basic respect and hospitality. I left angry, embarrassed and regretting the money I spent here. I will absolutely not be returning.
