    Our yummy brunch!

Still one of the greatest places in Walnut Creek to get an amazing cup of coffee I always get the scratch caramel and today I got a pistachio apricot scone and I actually wasn't expecting to like it, but I got it anyway because I love scones, but I wasn't sure how pistachio apricot would go together. Well, it was amazing absolutely delicious. The service there is always topknot to people that work. There are so kind and the ambience is cool.

I give this place all 5 starts for the interior design. I do feel like I'm inside of a cafe in Paris. Very elegant sophisticated seats. Love this place. Unfortunately, we didn't order any pastries but for sure we'll try it next time we're in town. Now check out our desserts.

This is hands down the best French cafe in the Bay Area! Our favorites- all their sweet and savory crepes and their waffles. The kiddos love their hot chocolate! They have a wonderfil assortment of pastries and baked treats our favorite being the creme brulee croissant, pistachio croissant and the gingerbread loaf slice. Everything is authentic and delicious! The staff are prompt and courteous. Ambiance is very French like and cozy. We are definitely coming back when we are in the area to try the Berry French toast and Tiramisu Crepe!

My family heard this was a small business and we love to support places in town like this. Lots of fabulous seating inside and outside in Alamo. The menu is very extensive for lunch! We were not that hungry so we just got lattes and a blueberry scone. My vanilla latte was perfect! Not too sweet and had a great robust espresso flavor. The blueberry scone was unlike any scone I've had, In a good way. It was so yummy! Sweet and blueberry forward with a great texture. I can't wait to come back here and try something from their lunch menu!

This charming coffee shop is centrally located in Walnut Creek. It's counter service and the food is delivered in a timely manner. They have lots of bistro seating outdoors as well as inside seating with benches, tables and couches. It offers a very chill, relaxed vibe! They offer lots of decadent pastries as well as egg sandwiches, French toast, lunch sandwiches and more. Today we tried the French toast and ordered an egg sandwich with bacon and cheese. Both were spectacular! The French toast was cooked to perfection and topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and sweet blackberries! Yes, a dollop of whipped cream that entices you to indulge if you wish! Our egg sandwich was served on a moist flaky croissant. The perfect way to start our morning with a delicious hearty breakfast. We will definitely be back!

Brioche de Paris is a nice little cafe. The ambiance is peaceful and allows you to relax and chill. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I only got a cookie because we ate lunch next door. We'll be back next time we are in the area.

Bright and calm ambiance. We had ube croissant, Marseille Crepe and Dubai Strawberry Crepe. Ube Croissant had generous ube filling. This filling was smooth and not sweet. Marseille was savory but had more dried tomatoes than I would want so it was a little sour. I would go back for the Dubai chocolate- chocolate was not too sweet, it has enough kadayif for the crunch. The strawberry that came with it was a little sour- it would have been nicer if a sweeter strawberry was added. People were really nice.

A true feel of Paris. Like I'd imagine a cafe to be. Busy and enjoyable. Many pastries and drinks to choose from. Artsy vibe with kind staff.

Literally, the best croissant that I have had in forever! It was so flaky, and not too much chocolate. The maple cake was just the perfect size because it is very rich but also very delicious. My husband's coffee was very strong, but he needed that in order to wake up lol. My chai was also really delicious! The inside is so freaking cute and you would want to take pictures for the gram! Staff was super friendly and able to provide recommendations on what we should get.

This spot is a delightful little taste of France right in downtown Walnut Creek -- perfect for breakfast, a light lunch, or a relaxed coffee break. The moment you walk in, the smell of freshly baked pastries fills the air and sets the tone for a delicious visit. The pastry selection is impressive, from flaky, buttery croissants to beautifully crafted tarts and sweet treats that make it hard to choose just one. Their coffee is rich and smooth, pairing perfectly with whatever you pick -- and a café au lait or latte with a bit of latte art feels like the perfect complement to the baked goods. I've also tried a few of the light lunch items like crepes and savory sandwiches -- fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. Seating is a mix of cozy indoor spots and outdoor bistro tables, making it a great place to linger over your coffee or catch up with a friend on a weekend morning. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and while it can get busy on weekend mornings (especially when all the fresh goodies are just out of the oven), the overall experience has been consistently pleasant.

Had an amazing chocolate Dubai croissant and one of the best quiches I've ever had, made with rich, creamy goat cheese. Every bite was full of flavor and perfectly balanced. Truly a top-tier experience . I'll definitely be coming back for more.

When in downtown Walnut Creek and craving for coffee and/or dessert Brioche de Paris is our go to spot. Parking is street or nearby parking garages. Walking downtown to the place is pleasant. Place is popular and depending on the time it can be pack. However the staff are professional and quick. From the time we ordered and received our coffee and food, it took 10 minutes or less. My Ice Mocha coffee was just right. Coffee not too strong or weak. Also not too sweet. We shared the banana French toast. Portion was right for the two of us. Although I wish the bread was thicker. The last time we tried the waffles and that was great . Large enough to split for two. Oh and the pastry are fresh and light . Overall we will continue to come and eat here.

Brioche de Paris is located near the corner of Locust St and Bonanza St, directly across from the Walnut Creek Yacht Club. After having lunch nearby on 02/27/2024, my friend NN and I came here for a cup. It was pretty busy when we walked in at around 12:30pm. We were immediately greeted by the staff. The interior was bright and clean. The vibe was relaxing and cozy. NN got a matcha latte while I opted for a large cold brew and a Sable Nutella. The total before tip was about $17. We were given a number placard for our order. Both items I had were pretty good. The coffee was robust, and the Nutella shortbread cookie was a decently soft and decadent. NN seemed to have enjoyed her drink as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, nice place for a cup! 4 stars.

    Is this place Kid friendly?

    Yes

    Is parking readily available?

There is street parking only. There are two garages on locust street as well. About 1-2 blocks away.

Are you still serving creme brûlée?

    Yes

Are the pastries made in-house? Or are they bought somewhere else (or frozen) and then baked?

Pastries are made in the Brioche kitchen.

Is there anything gluten free offered?

Yes, we have a few gluten free options. As we grow, there will be more selections.

This looks so cute! I'd go for a non-dairy hot beverage. Do they have anything to eat that is vegan and made there?

There is non-dairy drinks. They have vegetarian options, but not sure about vegan. It's a French Bakery, so I would think not vegan. Call them. Very nice people

    Yes, almond and soy.

What are the hours of operation?

I only went on a Sunday morning at 10 am. We just happened to be walking by and saw it was finally open, walked in to check it out.

He ended up ordering an iced turkish coffee with milk. It was hot outside, so I went in to grab some water. Their water container was not only basically empty, but it was also warm. Gross. I decided I would rather pay for a cup of iced water (because in a lot of the places I've been to, they charge for it). I go up to the register and ask if I can buy a plastic cup with iced water. The cashier/pastry cook/barista says, "Water?" and I repeat that I want a cup with iced water. She says, "Ice?" and I say, yes please. She goes right next to where the other barista is and she grab a scoop full of ice and gestures it to me. I'm kind of confused by this point, and it seems like the other barista is too. And then I ask again if I can get it in a plastic cup. Then the other barista points to one of the paper cups next to the warm water container, but then I ask them again if I could please get it in one of the cups they have, (because I wanted to be able to carry it around with a lid). That's when the other barista says, "You're doing too much, but okay." And she passes me the plastic cup, without a lid, acting as if I just asked her for her whole paycheck and half the drinks on the menu. I'm definitely annoyed at this point, but I don't care enough to be rude back. Then she says she's going to fill up the container. So she goes, gets the container to fill it up, and I'm there waiting with my friend in the store. It looks like she's the only barista there, so it keeps taking a little longer for the drink(s) to come out. When she finally comes back with a semi-filled container, I'm conversing with my friend, when she turns sharply and says, "Were you going to order anything??" in a pretty snappy tone, as if I'm only worth giving a plastic cup to if I'm going to order more. We reply that we already ordered, and she goes back to finish drinks that a previous customer had ordered. It's two drinks, and I assume that it took about 12-15 minutes for them to receive what looked like small hot drinks. I say this because these customers were sitting there well before my friend and I arrived, took time to order, and then were waiting for our drinks. After that, we're still waiting while she goes to take orders, and that's when the cashier/pastry cook/barista woman finishes my friends drink... after having stood there FOREVER while the other barista was going in circles. I was shocked to say the least, kind of amused, but also disappointed because these customers drink was about 8-9 bucks, the wait time was about 8-10 minutes, and the drink was disgusting. Actually insane. I don't recommend this place whatsoever. Place looks mid, service was abominable, and the workers look like they hate each other and anyone who asks for a plastic cup with iced water. Do better, and preferably give us back our money for the nasty drink+attitude combo.

So much so that they have been featured in reporting by several local media outlets. Out of curiosity, I decided to check this spot out with my brother and a couple friends on 08/29/2025. It wasn't busy when we walked in at around noon. A quick glance revealed a space that's tiny but well organized. We were greeted by Thuy, the friendly proprietor of the establishment. Since this was our first visit, it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. In the end, we each got a bánh mì sandwich and a beverage. Pricing was reasonable IMHO (see menu pic). I had the cold cut bánh mì and an iced coffee. I gave half of my sandwich to my brother, and he gave me half of his grilled chicken bánh mì in return. Both sandwiches were delicious! The baguette was excellent. It was crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside. Thuy told me later on that she gets them from Duc Huong Sandwiches, a famed Vietnamese sandwich chain in San Jose. The homemade pâté, cold cuts, and grilled chicken were all delicious, and the produce was very fresh. The iced coffee was very good as well. We chatted with Thuy extensively before and after our meal. She told us she was a banker prior to opening this café. From our conversation, I could tell she takes pride in her work. We were all very impressed by her demeanor and business acumen. Should you find yourself in downtown Walnut Creek, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. My partner and I were up in Napa for a road trip and we were heading back down to LA first thing in…read morethe morning. Before we got deep into our drive, we wanted to stop for some coffee, and this spot happened to be open and on our way. We're not super familiar with coffee in the Bay Area, and for most of our trip we hadn't chosen great shops to visit. Panama Bay, however, really surprised us. A lot about this spot felt unassuming to us. It's a small cottage on the corner that stands out from the taller, more modern apartment buildings around it. There's not much space indoors. All of their seating is outdoors, located next to their outdoor pickup window. It's a little more offbeat than your average coffee spot, but it's really charming. The great service was one of the first things I noticed. Our two baristas were very friendly, chatting with us about our trip, and giving menu recommendations. All of this was greatly appreciated, especially since their menu has many options. They had an extensive list of syrup flavors, lattes, pour over coffee, and breakfast sandwiches. I grabbed a banana latte, and breakfast sandwich. The coffee was flavorful, and the sandwich has the best chipotle mayo. My partner tried the Mayan pour over, and he really loved his drink. Everything that we ordered was fantastic, and the friendly baristas really made our visit. This was easily the best coffee spot we visited during our trip I definitely recommend dropping by this spot if you're nearby, and I'll definitely be back in the future if I'm ever back up north.

But if you get decision fatigue, then this place might not be for you. Staff is friendly and moving as quickly as they can. Their iced coffee is also slushy like. I prefer mine with light ice. You can barely taste the coffee itself. I got fooled and with plenty of other options nearby, I don't see the hype. It's just not my cup of tea (or coffee) haha.
