Found out about Brite Clean Smiles through ZocDoc, and booked my appointment for a cleaning and exam online. Very happy with the service I received here. I got an honest evaluation from Dr. Girgis regarding the health of my teeth. My previous dentist told me that I needed a crown on one of my teeth...Dr. Girgis explained that in my case, the risks would outweigh the benefits and it wouldn't be worth it to do at this point. I really appreciated the time he took to understand my needs and explain the health of my teeth. I'll be returning for my 6 month cleaning and exam! read more

I recently moved up to the area and was looking for a new dentist so I went into Brite Clean Smiles for a cleaning. I am very happy that I found this place! I knew Dr Girgis was a great dentist because he immediately asked me about a rare condition on my gums that I had been dealing with the past year caused by mercury poisoning. I had been to several dentists before and none of them knew what it was until I went to a specialist. I knew I was in good hands. I decided to have a procedure today to remove my final metal filling since they have a process to do it in to avoid mercury exposure. I was very impressed with the level of precautions they took to ensure it was safe and how smooth it went. Great dentist, staff and highly recommend! read more

I don't do these often but I had to write something about this place. I'm one of those weird scaredy cat people when it comes to dentists. This office is awesome!! The dental assistant who did the cleaning spoke to me the entire visit explaining everything she was doing and why she was doing it. I felt comfortable and informed. I left feeling great and actually wanting to take better care of my teeth. This place is awesome. From the receptionist to the assistants and Dr. Zack who made me smile during our consultation. So I went to this dentist and had an ok experience. I went once to have my teeth cleaned which was fine (since no one likes this) and then went back to have my teeth whitened. While I was there and sitting in the chair there was a customer that came in for their appointment. The front office girl had to call the dentist because he was a no show for his appointment, I thought that was odd and chalked it up to an mistake. Then I booked my husband an appointment. He took the time off work, got calls/text from the dentist office confirming his appointment. My husband pulled up at 10:50 for his 11am appointment and the doors were locked. He waited until 11:15, called the office and no one showed up. To top it off, he got a call 3 days later to reschedule. What a joke! While my personal experience was not terrible the professionalism and reliability of this business is not a place me or my family will go back to. So if you get service, consider yourself lucky. read more

I got a groupon for teeth whitening and I didn't see any results. Dr. Zak asked me to switch doctors and he will not charge me anything, basically he said he would take a lost and only charge the insurance. I should have realized at this point that he was a shady doctor. In several visits, I had a deep cleaning, a replacement onlay and immediately my tooth started hurting. I thought It might have been due to the fact that he was so rough and careless. I called Dr. Zak numerous times, he asked me come back into the office and talked his way out of everything. He refused to believe that I needed a root cannel. After 2 months of pain and Dr. Zak advising me to use sensodine, I went back to my original doctor (someone who I trust) got a second opinion. I needed a root cannel. At this point Dr. Zak pretty much maxed out my dental insurance for the year. I called my insurance co. he was not in-network (of course he told me he was) this is my fault, I should have checked. At this point I am utterly disgusted by the way Brite Clean Smiles is doing business. Since I felt he was responsible for my problem tooth, I asked him if I can get the onlay redone (after the root cannel), since he was already paid for the service, he told me he would "take care" of me. During my visit, he took a mold of my mouth making it appear as if I was getting a new onlay. I go in for my treatment 2 weeks later and I come to find out he did a filled over the root cannel after he placed a post (screw) into that tooth. I knew Dr. Zak was going the cheap route but I figured an onlay would secure it (but then again I'm not a doctor). 3 months later, the pain comes back. This is a very strange situation since I had a root cannel and essentially the tooth is dead. I went back to my original doctor to find out about the screw and it actually weakened my tooth and I most likely have a fracture in my tooth which is why a crown is necessary after a root cannel. This all made perfect sense to me. I now have to pay for a crown out of pocket which cost $855 and if the pain does not go away, I will need that tooth extracted and an implant will then cost $5000. Dr. Zak screwed me over really bad. I was trying to take short cuts by going to a cheap doctor and I am now paying the price. It now makes perfect sense me to as to why his office is consistently empty and Dr. Zak only works about 2 days a week. I don't understand how people are able to operate a business this way. I believe he only has 5 star reviews on yelp because he is not charging his patients for the (patient portion cost). DO NOT GO TO BRITE CLEAN SMILES. I am going to report him to the CDA and BBB and I will see how far I can take this. I just had my tooth extracted. Sure enough the pain never went away. I come to find out that my tooth has fractured into 3 pieces causing the endless pain. I am now making payments on work that will cost me $5000 and the entire process will take about 8 months. If you do decide to go to this place. MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK TO SEE IF HE'S IN- NETWORK. He misinforms his patients on basically everything. Also, he may answer his cell phone in the middle of getting a filling. If you are okay with the way this doctor operates, go right ahead and see for yourself. read more

If I had the option, I'd give this office ZERO stars. Initially found this place through Groupon. They had advertised the Zoom whitening but when I got to the office, I got their in-house whitening gel treatment. In other words, it WAS NOT the Zoom. After the procedure, my teeth were barely whiter. Not even noticeable. After that, I was told I needed cavities filled. I had been to my ortho prior to this office and was told I did have ONE cavity but it was very very minor and did not need work done on it yet. The cavity was on my baby tooth. Dr. Zak performed a filling on this tooth and a couple others and the pain after the procedure was unbearable. He told me it was normal and that it would subside but guess what, IT HASNT! To this day, I can barely eat on the left side of my mouth where the filling is. And I went to this office in January. You can do the math and determine how long i've been in pain. Normally, I'd go back in and demand everything to be fixed but I dont even want to do that. I really mean it when I say avoid this office. I usually dont write reviews but in this case, I felt I needed to in order to inform everyone out there to stay away from this office at all costs. I signed up for zoom, left with a $1800 dollar bill. Like others have said, this place is in it for the money! read more

Came in to meet the dr and see the office upon arriving I was told the dr is finishing up with patient and would see me soon I had waited for over an hour and half until I got so upset that I left. The dr walked by multiple times didn't even bother to say hello or I'm sorry I'll be with you soon. It's just like I didn't even exist. I purchased a voucher on Amazon Local a few months ago. I've tried calling them many times and each time a recording says: "We are currently assisting other patients... press 1 to leave a message or press 2 for hours and directions." If I press nothing, the system says "Goodbye" and hangs up on me, whereas if I press 1 to leave a message, it rings to another number, where the line picks up for a split second and immediately hang up on me - every time! UPDATED: They answered the phone today! I've made an appointment for next week... I'll re-rate them after my visit... UPDATED AGAIN: Okay, I'm not a fan of their phone system, but I went into the office for teeth whitening and the facility is very nice, the people are really nice, and it didn't hurt at all! (I had my teeth whitened years ago and I had some sensitive spots which caused a lot of pain during the procedure, but Brite Clean Smiles protected my sensitive spots, and even promised to stop the procedure and refund me if I needed to chicken-out - but it didn't hurt at all!) They were informative, patient, and always checking to see if I was doing alright during the whole process. The results were pretty good, but I wish I'd used the trays first, to prep my teeth, as they suggested, but it was a long drive (for me) to their office and I didn't want to do the trip twice. In hindsight, I wish I'd done the trays and if I'm in the neighborhood again, I'll stop by and follow their recommendation. read more

The consultation itself was thoroughly done, very detailed and patiently explained. The thought of having an unbiased opinion regarding my teeth is quite reassuring, getting my teeth cleaned and whitened in a place that is just for that without the up selling , yet it was meticulous cleaning that lasted over an hour rather than the rushed cleanings that I used to get at my regular dentist . it was also comforting to know that my general dentist is one of their recommended dentists that I can still go back to. So this was my first time back to a dental office. I just have crazy anxiety about having someone putting sharp objects in my mouth. I saw a groupon for this place at a good price and decided to give it a shot. The groupon included X-rays, basic cleaning, and 1hr whitening. Let me start off by saying the place is very nice, modern and most importantly clean! I was fortunate enough to get Amanda who was the person to clean my teeth. She made the whole experience comfortable and easy. She's awesome at what she does and is very knowledgable. I also got the chance to meet the doctor. He was such a sweet man and really took the time to get to know me. He wasn't aggressive or pushy to get work done. He was more concerned. He did a great job at calming my nerves.
