When I arrived at this restaurant, I was greeted by a very friendly young man. Staff was very attentive and food was good. Recommend highly.

Clean, welcoming, modern restaurant with fantastic service. We stayed there for three days, and Kim was there all three days. She greeted us by name after the first day and was extremely kind and welcoming. In an effort to avoid the high hotel price for food, we attempted to go to a few other local places, but after looking at the menu and the unwelcoming atmosphere, we drove back. We ended back at the hotel and had brunch there. Definitely one of our favs.

This place looks very nice inside. Service is really good, although we were sat at a too small table (had reservations too). I wanted to like it but the food was just awful. We were a party of 4 and shared two appetizers and ordered 4 different entrees. No one liked their food. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and the whole thing including the lettuce was grilled. It was soggy and gross, very small lettuce portion, like a half of a small romaine lettuce head. We also ordered the short rib and it was so hard you could not cut into it with a knife. Sent that back and the replacement for it was bad too, but had lots more fat in it so that it could be cut. Overall I do not recommend.

Nobody was at this restaurant when we walked in which should have told us to leave. My grilled cheese was a fail. The cheese was not melted at all so I didn't eat it. The fries were unfortunately the best part. The burger was nothing special but a little overcooked. Not even close to being worth the $40. The server was very attentive since we were the only customers. Others came, looked at the menu, and left. I wish we had done the same.

Service was a bit slow even though the place was nearly empty. Food and drinks were very good.

Amazing food, it's almost on the lines of Yard house. The flat bread was delicious & beer was for. Wish they had more beers on tap.

The food was genuinely excellent, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The bed was also a standout -- more comfortable than what I've experienced at most four-star hotels. I also loved the in-room Nespresso machine, which was a great touch. The only drawbacks are the location and setting. It's not ideal if you want to be close to a more metropolitan, walkable area, and being right on the creek means there can be quite a few bugs, especially in the evening. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing, stylish getaway with great food and very comfortable rooms.

This charming, quaint boutique hotel is located in a residential neighborhood in Round Rock, TX. The Ruby Hotel & Bar is situated along Brushy Creek in historic downtown Round Rock. The hotel has 39 uniquely designed rooms and suites, in the suburbs of Austin, TX. The hotel blends mid-century modern design with natural surroundings, creating a chic vibe. The property is distinctly divided into to major buildings...the hotel and the bar. There is a random small building up front also...not sure what that buildings for. There is also outdoor seating, which would be pleasant in the summer. Last night we had freezing temperatures, so sub-optimal for seating outside. When we entered the bar, we felt transported to another place in time. Retro looking furniture at the entry with finger dialed phones...my nieces and nephews would likely not have any idea what these little machines called telephones were. The bar was a mix of old - building built in the 1960s....new - modern mirrors and bar. There was signage at the front of the bar that stated to seat yourself and place your order from the bar (different set up...for sure). We ordered the hummus plate minus pita bread plus more cucumbers. Alan, our server was very accommodating to make that switch. We had herbal hot tea (chamomile and pomegranate berry). We listened to the 3 person band, who sang music from Johnny Cash to Bob Marley and so many different genres in between. What a lovely evening...date night score!

Strong, confident, and completely unbothered -- the kind of drink that doesn't raise its voice because it doesn't have to. No unnecessary frills. No overcomplicated theatrics. Just a perfectly crafted cocktail that respects tradition but adds a little dark, sultry wink. It lingers just long enough to make you lean in for another sip. 10/10. Grumpy never tasted so good -- and I wouldn't mind getting into trouble with it again. The bar itself? Classy without being stuffy. The kind of place where you can show up dressed up or dressed down and still feel like you belong. Dim lighting, great vibe, zero pretension. I'll absolutely be back, service was stellar. No food items this time, but definitely will be back!

The place is narrow and can get loud. We were still able to talk at our table. The food menu is somewhat small. There are options for most tastes. I had the chicken Caesar.
